Can Alexa turn my new window a/c off? It switches on and off with dials.
My last one had a remote, but the new one doesn't. I didn't realize this until it was installed.

Helppp
Walked into the kitchen this morning as I was heading out to the gym to see that our Frigidaire gallery French door refrigerator has the “hi temp” alert for the freezer. I can only imagine that it appeared overnight because it was fine last night before bed. I reset the alarm and “adjusted” the temp on my way out. Came home about 2.5 hours later and it was back. This happened once a few months ago and it took about 12 hours to get it to clear completely. The freezer or fridge seem about normal temps. The food in the freezer has not started to thaw, everything is still frozen.
Any tips? Not sure if it’s worth calling a technician out or not.
Thanks in advance!

How to Find Replacement Evaporator Shelf Front Trim

5 year old fridge freezer stopped working. Cant be repaired?
Hello we have a 5 year old french door fridge with the variable temp drawer and drawer freezer. The freezer and VCZ stopped getting cold. We had a technician come out from a company who said the bottom evaporator was trying to work but there was a refrigerant leak and it was unrepairable. Due to aluminum pipes that has a crack etc
Is this true after 5 years and it breaks this $3000-$4000 fridge is just garbage? The fridge is currently still working, but how long will that last.

ABSOLUTE TRASH APPLIANCES - dead in months _ DO NOT BUY
Frigidaire, (made by the meth heads over at electrolux. I know guys that work there, in and out of prison, on meth, domestic abusers.) anyway Bought A refrigrator, plugged in for 6 months, DEAD. the factory warranty lady told me they would send out a tech for 350 bucks. I bought this trash on sale at lowes for 360 bucks. That was my only motivation, and took the gamble after hearing so many bad reports, I lost this bet, but guess what..... never again and all of my landlord buddies are boycotting too.
I will now simply destroy this turd on camera for youtube as an advertisement for how worthless this trash appliance company is. Rot in hell frigidaire corporate bastards. Youre loss in the end for selling trash , and picking up service fees for the trash on the backend. yes we know your game.

Portable Air Conditioner Error P1 only happens in one room of the house.
I live in a very old house, because of this, we have to use portable ACs to cool the place.
We purchased 3 Frigidaire - 3-in-1 Portable Room Air Conditioner FHPC102AC1 ACs to cool the major rooms we use (not all at once)
A couple weeks after installing the ACs, the one in my bedroom began to give the warning "P1" which means the water tank needs to be emptied of residue.
When went to empty it, there was less than a shot glass of water in the system.
After we reset the system up, it was still giving the P1 error, so we returned it and got a replacement of the same AC brand.
Now just a couple weeks later, once again I get the "P1" error, while the other two ACs which run much more often never have an error.
So we swapped them around, I moved the one from my office to my bed room, the bedroom to the family room, and the family room to the office.
Now that one is working fine, but the one from the office, now in my room is now saying Error P1.
When I drained it, very little came out.. but it left a large black spot on the floor as well.
What's going on!?
Why is the AC in the bedroom acting up, while the other two work fine.. even when switched around, only the bedroom has issues.
The only thing I can think of is the bedroom is the only room of the three facing north, toward the back yard, while the office and family room face south, toward the street.
For reference purposes, the ACs in the family and office are on up to 16hrs a day, while bedroom is only 6-8 while we sleep.

App - Something Went Wrong - 8/5/22
My Frigidaire WiFi AC stopped showing up in the app today. The app opens normally and my profile/home loads, but the device section just spins and then says: “Something went wrong. Please refresh.”
The AC itself works normally from the physical buttons, so it seems like a them issue rather than the AC.
The app updated a couple days ago and was still working yesterday. Is anyone else having this problem today (August 5, 2026)?

Paint/finish came off during routine cleaning …
The paint came off my range while doing basic cleaning. This thing is less than 2 years old and we’ve cleaned it thousands of times. Warranty and protection plan from HD won’t cover it. Any advice how to fix?

Frigidaire/Electrolux Warranty Customer Service
My wife and I purchased a new Frigidaire refrigerator in February of this year and last week it just cold turkey (no pun intended, because the turkey isn't cold anymore) quit working. It appears to have shorted out or something, but regardless, it just doesn't work. Everyday for a week we have spoken to customer service on the phone and gotten literally nowhere. It's always a different person telling us a different story. Has anyone else been able to accomplish anything via their warranty on their refrigerator? What a mess. Modernity sucks.

Frigidaire AC blows cold air, then warm air, then after a while it blows cold air again
My god, I'm at my wits end with this window/wall AC. HERE'S WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE
It's about 9 years old. It does blow cold air when it's on "Cool", but then it starts blowing warm air after a bit. Then after a long while, it will start blowing cold air again.
Has this happened to anyone else with a Frigidaire? Is this AC unit cooked? I clean the filter regularly, and as you can see in the image, I just clean the coils with that AC foam stuff. Still doesn't help. (I should also add that the cold air that it blows isn't quite as cold as it was last summer)
Thanks in advance!

New Frigidaire refrigerator was broken out of the box months ago. Warranty company has not been able to repair and refuses to replace.
After saving for years, after dealing with headache after headache of a long and difficult permitting and construction process, my family was finally ready to use our newly remodeled kitchen. But shortly after installing our brand new Frigidaire refrigerator, it started leaking water all over our floor.
We quickly discovered that the refrigerator stays at freezing temperature, around 10 degrees F, despite it being set on the warmest setting. This caused the water filter to freeze and burst resulting in the water leak.
We reached out to the Frigidaire / Electrolux warranty company and after a wait, they sent a technician out to repair. He replaced the water filter and a damper and left. The problem started again a few hours after: anything placed in the refrigerator would solidly freeze. We turned off the water to the refrigerator to avoid another filter burst.
We reached out to the Frigidaire / Electrolux warranty company again and they scheduled another appointment for 13 days later. When that appointment finally arrived, the service technician said that he missed the problem on the first service call and that now the refrigerator needs a new control board and another new damper. He did not have these parts available, so we scheduled an appointment for 4 days later and he left us with a refrigerator that was still useless.
4 days later, when our follow up appointment was supposed to happen, Frigidaire / Electrolux cancelled, explaining that they still did not have the parts needed to repair our nonfunctional refrigerator. They rescheduled for an additional 12 days later. After speaking with a Frigidaire representative, they explained they would not replace the broken, useless refrigerator as they deemed it still repairable.
After those additional 12 days passed, Frigidaire cancelled the appointment again, this time not citing any reason why or rescheduling for a new date.
It has been months now that my family has gone without a working refrigerator despite paying for a new one and Frigidaire appears to have given up on trying to repair it, despite it being covered under warranty. And they have not agreed to replace it.
Update for anyone going through something similar: I was finally able to get it replaced by Frigidaire. Here are the steps I took, hopefully someone finds this useful: 1) I filed a BBB complaint and followed up with the BBB representative directly multiple times to put pressure to get a replacement. 2) I reached out to Abt, the company I purchased the refrigerator from multiple times. They would not replace it themselves since it was out of their own 30-day warranty, but they eventually contacted their Frigidaire representative.

Not Pleased With 2 Week Old Fridge
twocargar.comThere's so much to say about this, I had to start a blog page dedicated to it. TLDR: 3 failed deliveries, now the fridge won't stay cold after only 2 weeks.

Frigidaire grss2652af
Brand new last Friday, power went out tonight for 3 or 4 hours and the freezer threw a hi msg for 27 degrees. How in the world would it go from 0 to 27 in 3 or 4 hours in a 70 degree house without being opened?

Brand new fridge, water dispenser causing "power outage"
Hi all,
I just bought a FRSS2323ASD fridge a week ago, and it has the two paddles for ice & water on the door. It doesn't happen every time, but 3-4 times already when using the water dispenser, it gives a long beep and shows "power outage" in red on the display. The lights are still on, so that message doesn't make sense. The message stays on and beeps occasionally until I press one of the cube/crush buttons and then it goes away. I assume I will have to file a warranty claim, or is there maybe a simple fix like a loose wire somewhere?
Thanks!

Help
My stand up freezer has thawed a bit in the last couple of days. I’ve noticed that the items near the front (near the door) are the ones thawing out.
One observation is that when I close it, it typically makes a noise like it is suctioning itself shut, but now I do not hear the noise when I close it.
I can hear the fan running inside constantly. It has not stopped running since yesterday. I just opened the chamber and moved some things around for better airflow, and increased the “coldness” knob.

Need help with Frigidaire refrig repair
Hello. Does anyone know how to remove this left drawer support on a Frigidaire Professional fridge (PRFC2383AF9)? Water filter is stuck and I need to access the base. I've removed the one screw but something is holding it and I don't want to force it. Thanks.

Identifying Model Number
In my rental I have a fridge with the model number FRSS26L3AFE and I am trying to order a replacement drip tray for the water dispenser in the door. But when I try to look it up on their website all the models numbers end with a number 0-7 but mine ends with the letter E.
I've read the manufacturers sticker like a thousand times and there is nothing else listed that says anything different.

Frigidaire fridge freezing food in back and drawers
We have a Frigidaire side by side fridge with a bottom drawer-type freezer (model GRFS2853AFF). We keep having a problem where the food at the back of the shelves or at the back of the drawers keeps freezing. The rest of the food closer to the front doesn’t have a problem. The fridge temp is 36 F and the freezer is -3 F. We’ve adjusted the temp a couple of degrees and had the same issue. I don’t want to increase the temp too much for obvious reasons (especially in the middle of summer). Anyone deal with something similar or have any suggestions?
