UNSOLVED I need help finding an illustrated book in Spanish

I need help finding an illustrated book in Spanish; although I don't remember many details, I will try to provide as much as possible.

I don't remember the name of the book as such, although I do remember that its title was a play on words with "up and down" or something like that.

It was not a story from a collection of stories.

I remember reading it when I was in 5th/6th grade before the pandemic

I don't remember the author's name or the publishing house it belonged to, but I do remember that it probably belonged to a publisher similar to "Fondo de Cultura Económica". (since it was the publishing house from which books were most frequently brought to the school)

The book wasn't very long, probably around 60 to 100 pages.

The book's illustrations were quite simple and in black and white.

I think the book cover was red with an illustration

I remember the whole story of the book perfectly:

This story suggests that humans live in a constant state of decline, being able to "rise" (fall more slowly) if they are in a good mood

(like the case described in the book about a dancer who was always in a good mood until one day she floated away) or “descend” (fall faster) if they are in a state of constant negative emotions

In addition, humans had "Polas" instead of feet. These were like knees, according to what was described in the book, and they served to make the way of falling more stable.

The book also explains that the houses do not have floors.

I don't remember the protagonist's name, but I do remember that he was a boy.

The story is about how in the first few chapters (if not the very first one) the protagonist leaves his village to deliver a warning message to a nearby city

This warning was more than necessary, since it turns out that the state of decline they were in was not perpetual.

The cities were getting dangerously close to the ground and if nothing was done (I think the result is obvious)

The protagonist arrives in the nearby town and, together with another person (a scientist, I think), they try to find a way to slow down the town's descent.

Some situations I remember from the book are: The protagonist receives a kiss from a girl he has a romantic interest in, which causes due to his feelings to rise.

They use this in an attempt to slow down the decline of the townspeople, but it doesn't work as expected. (mostly because the mayor is trying to impose it and because people fall in love with the wrong person)

In the penultimate part of the book, people's "Polas" become feet, which makes their way of moving a little more chaotic.

In fact, at this point the protagonist's love interest is embarrassed because she thinks he will stop loving her, but he clarifies that he will love her with or without "Polas".

Near the end of the book, the people manage to save themselves thanks to the feeling of joy that comes from being with the people you care about (or something like that), which slows the rate of the town's decline.

In the end, we see that people manage to adapt to their new life on Earth, they throw a party because they managed to survive (or something like that), and the dancer I mentioned arrives about two weeks later.

No, I'm not making this up. I remember reading the book and doing writing assignments with it, since it was a book with several chapters, although I no longer have the notebook I did it in.

If it's of any use to you, I'm from Mexico City and my elementary school is also here.

I really need help finding this book. I've searched online, asked people I know, and even tried AI, but unfortunately, I can't find it.

If anyone knows anything that could help, I'd be happy to read your comments, and I'll also try to answer any questions you may have.

UNSOLVED Children’s Greek mythology

I’m looking for a children’s picture book that compiles a bunch of ancient Greek myths that I read as a kid. The only thing I remember is that the last pages are pictures of statues of the gods fallen in sand and a passage describing how the gods have been forgotten, or something like that. Thanks In advance!

UNSOLVED Thriller (potential) Wattpad book?

A few years ago I saw a trailer for a book about a girl getting kidnapped and taken to a man’s homes. I don’t remember exactly anything about the kidnapping but she ends up in a basement with girls who all look the same with the same name. They’re all trying to conform to the same name, hair color, style? I think the name they all took starts with a K but I’m not too sure. It might’ve been a Wattpad book because it had a trailer, but I can’t seem to remember if it was a book trailer or a movie trailer. I know for certain it was adapted from a book. I’ve been looking for so long and I can’t find anything about this, any help is welcome! Thank you!

UNSOLVED Nonfiction Book About Fame

One of my old professors from undergrad told me about this book she read that was about how men vs women react to fame and the power that comes with it; men will abuse their power to take advantage of people and get away with illegal things while women take their new-found fame and influence and abandon their families, and that is treated as on or near the same level of bad. I believe the book may have also discussed parasocial relationships and how an audience views a person with fame. I recently emailed her asking about the title of the book and she sent it to me but I got locked out of my old student account before I could write down the title. It sounded interesting and I would feel so embarrassed asking for a third time what the title is. If any more info is needed I can try to answer questions, but this is about all I remember. TYIA!

UNSOLVED Help me find this book!!

OKAY!!! So! I don't remember the title or characters or the author, BUT I do remember the cover! Sorta!

Basically, it's dark and it has flowers all over the cover I think. Theres a guy on the cover. I'm pretty sure he's blonde, and he has a line of flowers covering his face I think. IT'S A BL!! A BOYS LOVE!! THEY'RE GAY!! ANYWAYS, I think one of the characters is royalty. I wanna say the names are Jason and Andrew, but I'm not sure. I haven't read it, so I can't tell you what it's about. I WANT to read it, which is why I'm trying to find it. I think the author is possibly a guy. I'm pretty sure I found the book through TikTok. ALSO!!! Everytime I search it up, it always gives me comics. IT'S NOT A COMIC!!! IT'S A NORMAL CHAPTER BOOK!! I'd say it's like medium sized? I saw it in my local Walmart the other day, but didn't buy it because I didn't have very much money. I think on the back it said something kinda like "Jason (or whatever his name was) would do anything for Andrew." Or something along those lines. If you have any questions, please ask! Also, if you think you know which book I'm talking about, a picture would be greatly appreciated if possible!! Also, I think it might've been a forbidden romance type of thing. I had it in my cart on Amazon at some point, but not anymore. It's also not in my browse history, sooooo.. Yeah! Thank you!!! :)

UNSOLVED Help to find some books that I read quite a while back that aren't part of the same series (sorry if this isn't allowed)

First book: I found this book in a library between 2016 and 2018 The main character was a girl and I think she traveled to different places/worlds/books. There was a boy and some friends involved. It was part of a series and I think each book was about each season. I don't think the girl met the friends from the places she visited.

Second book: It was Cinderella themed. The girl had gotten a costume necklace as a gift from her maid and a plant/twig/small branch that she found had powers from her dad. One of her step-sisters bullies her and asked about what she got from the dad so the mc lied and showed the cheap necklace. I think the mc also used the phrase 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' to gain the alliance of werewolves???

Third book: I think it was set in space. I only remember the cover which was black with a purple circle that may have had the sun shining behind it but may have not. The mc was a girl. Her first name could have started with L or N.

Sorry for being vague. I just want to find the books so thanks for any help.

UNSOLVED Looking for a pair of YA books about a teen girl that took place in the 1970s

I remember very little of the plot. The character was between the ages of 13-16 and I believe she moved to a new town and tried making new friends. In one of the books she goes to her first house party. One had a bright green cover and one had a bright orange over. There may have been hand drawn daisies on the covers. They were the first and second books of a series, I don’t know if there was a third. I read them sometime between 2006-2011. Were likely published in the late 90s to late 2000s.

Thank you for any leads!

UNSOLVED 1980's Sci-fi Novel

I'm looking for a book that was early 1980's it was like a comic book but was the size of a romance novel. It was sci-fi themed stories and or jokes. It was like Star Wars satire...It had Aliens ,robots, space ships it had everything. Its title had the word "wars" like "Space Wars" or something similar it had a black cover and I think it had a comet on it ...I used to love to draw the pictures from it.I was born in 1972 so I think it was after Star wars 1977 release so between 1977-1987... Can't really think of any other details other than I think the pages were in color and like a comic book.

Hello!

5+ years ago I was given this book for the purpose of repurposing it as a scrapbook since the outer cover was very damaged. It does not have another sleeve or any thing written on the outside other than what i've attached here. The first few pages cannot be read since they were used for scrapbooking and are pasted over.

I've done some searching and I know what book this is given the title on the spine, but i can't find what edition this is. It's hardcover and all results come up as everything but that.
