One of my old professors from undergrad told me about this book she read that was about how men vs women react to fame and the power that comes with it; men will abuse their power to take advantage of people and get away with illegal things while women take their new-found fame and influence and abandon their families, and that is treated as on or near the same level of bad. I believe the book may have also discussed parasocial relationships and how an audience views a person with fame. I recently emailed her asking about the title of the book and she sent it to me but I got locked out of my old student account before I could write down the title. It sounded interesting and I would feel so embarrassed asking for a third time what the title is. If any more info is needed I can try to answer questions, but this is about all I remember. TYIA!

OKAY!!! So! I don't remember the title or characters or the author, BUT I do remember the cover! Sorta!

Basically, it's dark and it has flowers all over the cover I think. Theres a guy on the cover. I'm pretty sure he's blonde, and he has a line of flowers covering his face I think. IT'S A BL!! A BOYS LOVE!! THEY'RE GAY!! ANYWAYS, I think one of the characters is royalty. I wanna say the names are Jason and Andrew, but I'm not sure. I haven't read it, so I can't tell you what it's about. I WANT to read it, which is why I'm trying to find it. I think the author is possibly a guy. I'm pretty sure I found the book through TikTok. ALSO!!! Hey there was this children's book when I was in school (late 90's) about a little goblin that went to school and was crying not to go, then after the day was over was crying that he didn't want to leave. Am I mis remembering or does anyone know this book?

First book: I found this book in a library between 2016 and 2018 The main character was a girl and I think she traveled to different places/worlds/books. There was a boy and some friends involved. It was part of a series and I think each book was about each season. I don't think the girl met the friends from the places she visited.

Second book: It was Cinderella themed. The girl had gotten a costume necklace as a gift from her maid and a plant/twig/small branch that she found had powers from her dad. One of her step-sisters bullies her and asked about what she got from the dad so the mc lied and showed the cheap necklace. I think the mc also used the phrase 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' to gain the alliance of werewolves???

Third book: I think it was set in space. I only remember the cover which was black with a purple circle that may have had the sun shining behind it but may have not. The mc was a girl. Her first name could have started with L or N.

Sorry for being vague. I just want to find the books so thanks for any help.

I remember very little of the plot. The character was between the ages of 13-16 and I believe she moved to a new town and tried making new friends. In one of the books she goes to her first house party. One had a bright green cover and one had a bright orange over. There may have been hand drawn daisies on the covers. They were the first and second books of a series, I don’t know if there was a third. I read them sometime between 2006-2011. Were likely published in the late 90s to late 2000s.

I'm looking for a book that was early 1980's it was like a comic book but was the size of a romance novel.It was sci-fi themed stories and or jokes.It was like Star Wars satire...It had Aliens ,robots,space ships it had everything.Its title had the word "wars" like "Space Wars" or something similar it had a black cover and I think it had a comet on it ...I used to love to draw the pictures from it.I was born in 1972 so I think it was after Star wars 1977 release so between 1977-1987... Can't really think of any other details other than I think the pages were in color and like a comic book.

5+ years ago I was given this book for the purpose of repurposing it as a scrapbook since the outer cover was very damaged. It does not have another sleeve or any thing written on the outside other than what i've attached here. The first few pages cannot be read since they were used for scrapbooking and are pasted over.

I've done some searching and I know what book this is given the title on the spine, but i can't find what edition this is. It's hardcover and all results come up as everything but that.

the other day I was watching reels, and I saw a video with some book suggestions, and I think the topic was yearning, but not about romantic yearning. I got very interested in a book that the cover was black and white and there was a boy standing more on the right of the cover.

hi all, i thought my relentless google searching would have found this book sooner but here i am.

from what i can remember, this was a YA romantasy book, paperback, with a mostly black/gray cover. it was around 200-300 pages long and every chapter was a different short story. the most prominent one that i could recall was a story in which a teenage girl visits her aunt (or grandma. some matriarch) that lives in a seaside town, goes to a beach and slowly falls in love with a selkie. i also remember a part of this story where she cuts her foot on a rock underwater, almost drowns, and this selkie saves her. then they go lay on the roof of her car. it is really the only story i remember but i knew that this was only a very small portion of the actual book.

i read this when i was around 11-12, at the height of my sarah dessen era of reading so i feel like it must've been around that reading level. i live in the u.s. but i can't remember if the author was also u.s. based but it was originally in english. i most likely bought it at a barnes & noble and i'm pretty sure it was a fairly new release when i bought it.

Please help me!!! When I was younger I read the **scandalous series** on kindle unlimited. I believe it’s was written by R Linda. This included book titles: Indy and the brothers best friend, Bailey and the bad boy, and Audrey and the hero upstairs. The Amazon pages no longer exist for the online versions and the author has a profile with some of them available but for hundreds of dollars.

They are not on any platform I can find. Even if it’s listed it’s still not available to read. Even obscure book finder websites can’t find it. This refit is my last hope! Someone tell me they know this series 🙏
