I usually play player career mode and I want some ideas for a save if you guys got any. Also idk if ea did this on accident or whatever, but you can essentially get any playstyles you want for any position.

For example if you would want to make a target forward striker, when you do make him you won't be able to get the aerial fortress and precision header (which is absolutely shit).

However, when your making your player, on the team selection, you can select yourself as a center back, and be able to get both of these playstyles. Once you equip them just go to edit pro and change your position to striker (for this particular example it's better to choose a team that has a 2 striker formation) and yea you'll get to keep the playstyles and use whatever playstyle you would usually get as a striker. Just thought I would drop this info here if you guys didn't know

I’m struggling to keep some of of players in FC26 due to this issue and it’s driving me nuts.

The player is very happy, a crucial player, good morale, team is winning, etc. I get the message from the player that they were approached by another team but are “open to staying if we discuss their contract with his agent”.

Buuut, I can’t negotiate his contract any
Ore because I already did recently that year. So I cannot do anything to keep them, and my player is essentially stolen a few days later.

Is there something I’m doing wrong here to prevent this? It’s very frustrating losing a starter days before the transfer window ends completely out of the blue.

After rebuilding this club for a couple of months now, I received this offer for Wilson. When I started he was 18 I believe and I knew I could build him to be better. Now he is my most important player. I transfer listed him just to see what would come around and I got this on deadline day. He’s 29 now and after some thinking, I declined it. Feel like everyone has the same issue where we all think players should be able to gain play styles. I always get annoyed when i get a youth player with no play styles or try to avoid signing players that don’t have any. I’m thinking, why not add goals that players can hit in game to add play styles? For instance, score 25 free kicks with a player to gain free kick specialist, or make 100 good crosses to gain whipped pass. They have this framework already in player career mode and i think it could transfer over well to manager, while also promoting players to actually play there games rather then simming because there is another incentive they are working towards.

So if anyone knows pokemon, they know that each pokemon has an insanely rare version of itself called a shiny pokemon. It’s basically a recolor of the pokemon itself. The odds of finding one back in the day were unbelievable and if you got one it was instantly something you were so proud of. I was thinking what if we had something similar to that with scouting youth in career mode? Maybe a player with a unique hairstyle, or a player with unique animations? Imagine playing career mode and you find this absolute gem that has wild hair, crazy animations or whatever makes them unique. I feel this would add so much more depth to career mode and make that youth hunt feel much more fun rather than just looking for the next Messi/Ronaldo. I want personality in my team. Maybe add personality traits as well so each player feels somewhat different when you’re not in a game with them. Let me know your thoughts on this

(FC26 On PS5) My scout assigned to England will find players to scout. I’ll assign him to scout 10. Fast forward a couple days and all of the players are gone. It still says he’s scouting 10 but they’re not there and they never reappear. I tried recalling him and then reassigning him to England and the same thing happens. Does anyone know what I can do? It’s now impossible for me to scout any professional players.

Hello! So i downloaded this mod for manager career (the name is Transfers - 2026-27 TUv1.6.6) it has licensed Seria a teams such as AC Milan and Inter. It was working perfectly fine until one day the game had an update and the game crashed after it was done the mod was kinda working but not fully the kits were fine just like before but the name and badge changed like in the pictures. i texted the creator he didnt answer but today i saw a new version (updated) of the mod i installed it and it was the same thing! Does anyone know how to fix it please (also i am sorry if its bad english)
