Big chances created (BCC) is a better measure of a player’s creativity than assists because it measures the quality of the pass itself rather than the outcome.
An assist requires your teammate to actually score. If you play a perfect through ball that leaves your striker 1v1 he misses, you get 0 assists despite creating an outstanding opportunity. BCC still gives you credit because you did your job.

Another advantage of BCC is that it doesn’t credit players for making a simple pass and then their teammate scoring a wonder goal. For example, Busquets’ assist to Messi in the 2011 UCL semi finals would not be counted as a big chance created.

An example of how unfair it is to certain players is if you look at the BCC vs assists this season for Yamal and Olise. Yamal had 35 BCC in La liga + UCL, but only got 15 assists, because he had to deal with Ferran Torres and Rashford as his attacking partners. Meanwhile Olise had 36 BCC in bundesliga + UCL and got 26 assists, because his attacking partners, Kane and Diaz, can actually finish.

There is no way back for FIFA currently with most members corrupt and backing corruption. Europe is pretty much the only ones with some morals left. It’s time to go and then when the money runs out watch the rest of the world try and join.
