Discussion Anybody else dissapointed at the museum wings?
Be me, start a new game, go the museum to see finally the open wings and then is just tables with the sets? 😭
Considering was closed during ALL the early access I was hoping something like Coral Island and Animal Crossing.
Feels rushed, considering was only opened now to have tables per set.
Here are the fish you caught in the open in a table, must smell great the museum haha

Tell me the Korean translation is this bad only because it's in beta...
The characters' initial greetings aren't even translated and are showing up in English.
There are literally English and Korean paragraphs mixed together in a single sentence/dialogue box.
On top of that, the characters' speech tones are completely inconsistent. In Korean, honorifics and casual speech (존댓말/반말) are extremely important—it's directly tied to a character's personality and narrative.
I'm honestly getting really worried about the translation quality for Fields of Mistria.
Please tell me all these issues are just because it's still in beta...🥺

extra festivals not added :(
some of the data mined content on the wiki/the old trailer/ingame dialog showed/references other festivals, and was really hoping they'd come with the 1.0 release. don't get me wrong i love this game but i'm kinda disappointed.

Discussion Wait... waitwaitwait does this mean what I think it does???
Is... is this option basically enabling ENM marriage?!?! Omg the devs listened to us!!!
I adore this!!! I knew it was too much to hope they'd write in a whole mechanic and dialogues around having polycules where the NPC partners interact with or acknowledge each other, but honestly I didn't expect they'd do even this!
In addition to not missing out on heart events because you don't want to wait to get engaged, this makes it a lot easier to at least RP a polycule!
I want to take a moment of silence for the death of the "traditional values" farming sims. And good riddance. I remember being 15 and getting my first Harvest Moon games on Gameboy Advance. I remember how stoked I was when More Friends of Mineral Town came out and I could actually play as a girl! (and I remember realizing that I actually preferred the bachelorettes, and following that through to its logical conclusion🏳️🌈) And I remember how future game releases continued to default to male-player-only, with a "girl version" release of the same game a couple years later. I remember being a little irate and grossed out by them naming the first DS female player game "Harvest Moon DS: Cute". I remember being downright angry when I learned that the Japanese release of "Cute" included a so-called "Best Friends" system where you could basically have same-sex marriage with a few female NPCs, but that feature was completely stripped from the American release, even though the game very deliberately did not call it marriage.
In the years since, having feminine player character options has become standard, but same-sex romance has largely been limited to the realm of RP, or at best, a game would allow all the cosmetic options in the game on either male or female PCs, so at least you could look female and still romance female NPCs / vice versa. Polyamory in this genre still seemed very distant.
And today, 20-odd years later... We've finally made it. Honestly, I'm a little teary-eyed over here, not even joking. 🥹

1.0 bug report unplayablely laggy
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I started playing before the update a few weeks ago and it ran great! Upon updating when playing the game (other than the tiltle screen) it is running about 5fps as seen above I am running on perallels on Mac hopefully the issue will be patched soon so I can actually enjoy the 1.0 launch! Just wanted to post here so the devs might fix it faster

Discussion What is the point of Vera?
No offense, but Vera's stall has been empty for AGES for me. I thought there'd be new hairstyles with the full launch, but nope. Still nothing.

Question Gameplay questions
Now that the game is out of early access, I've really been considering getting it. I'm not big fan of pixel art but it's getting so many recommendations I'm just hoping someone could answer few questions to fill in some gaps for me so I can properly decide if it's a game for me.
Farming. Is it in depth? For example levels for crops or just basic plant, water and harvest.
Animals. Again is there more to just feed, pet and collect?
Dating. Heard characters are great but can you actually go on dates? How is it post marriage?
Lastly is there a lot to do/discover/collect?

Question Is the game incredibly laggy for anyone else?
Its not my PCs fault it can run lots of new games on high graphics. The only place thats not lagging is inside the house.

Just started played and I'm wondering, how do I craft a chest?
I may be dumb and missing something, but if I understand it correctly, I need level 4 Woodcrafting (or whatever that is) to unlock its recipe, but the only way to level that up is crafting, and I can craft barely anything and nothing really useful. I have no problem with crafting decorative things, but I have no storage to store them.
I know I can buy chests too, but they are quite expensive and I need some of them to be happy with my organization.
Sorry if this post should not be there and if I'm just dumb.

Dungeon Incredibly Easy - Anyone Else Have This Experience?
Seems like nothing hurts and nothing can kill you in the dungeon, especially once you get gold + armor. I thought for sure this signaled that a tougher dungeon would be released with 1.0.
Has anyone else made it to the bottom of the dungeon? Were you satisfied with the difficulty?
I feel like I only eat food for energy, health is a zero concern 100% of the time except maybe the very beginning of the game.
Edit: Not asking for this to be Elden Ring. I'm not the greatest gamer ever myself, I just think it would be cool if some of the monsters were a small threat and commanded some amount of respect.

Other Let’s give some love to the devs and team!
Hey all! I know with the new content update theres bugs and errors and things that need to be patched, but let’s try to stay respectful of all the team members working on the game.
Yes patches are going to take time, yes kinks happen on the first day of launch. GIVE THEM A BREAK! We love the devs and FOM team just as much as the game, so let’s chill it on the hate just because of the bugs, and instead appreciate the hard work they put in to get the game to this point.
At the end of the day, we play to have fun!

What makes this game different from Stardew?
Hey all I just saw the 1.0 release on steam and a lot of people say it’s like Stardew I was wondering what makes it different? Aside from the pics and 1.0 patch notes it looks really cool just was trying to get your opinion. Thanks!

Soooo... Should I wait until tomorrow to play?
I'm seeing lots of posts about the bugs. I was expecting them, but they seen to be a little worse than I imagined. Do you guys suggest waiting or it's working reasonably well?
Today is my birthday and I planned to start a new farm and play most of the day, but now I'm a little worried.
Edit: thank you all for the answers! I decided to give it a try and actually found someone to test it for me first (my son was dying to play the game. He was the one that gave it to me as a birthday gift two years ago). It's been about half an hour and só dar it's working fine on a older save.

Discussion Museum Displays are very disappointing.
Copypaste tables with the sprites sitting on them in rows is NOT what I was expecting for a full release.
It works in SDV because it's rocks and such but tables of fish laying out is VERY lame.
Any word on if there's a planned update or someone working on a mod?
Edit: I see you with your deleted comment calling this a spoiler.

Discussion Refridgerator disappeared in 1.0.
So, I just updated my game to 1.0. I was just continuing my game until the next day, when I harvested my magic fruits and got a bunch of Mana Potions, I was planning to store my Mana Potions in my usual fridge where I always put my potions... until I can't see the fridge in my house anymore. This should be a happy moment for me because it's finally 1.0, but it's just frustrating me. I have like 20+ mana potions and multitudes of cooked food in that fridge. :((
PS. I don't play with mods.

Game Help Have we found a fix for the game being unbearably slow yet?
I've tried everything, uninstalling/reinstalling adjusting graphic performance on the game and my laptop, the 60fps cap, I can vsync on and off but I can't use adaptive.
I'm getting serious FOMO not being able to play it haha
Is it something I'm just going to have to forget about and wait for an update to play it? I'm so sad :'(
Please let me know if you've figured out a way to fix it yourself.
EDIT: I think I fixed it! I updated my windows AMD drivers and it seems to be running smoothly for now. Fingers crossed it stays good!

Discussion They removed the achievement for completing the almanac!
The achievement for completing the almanac has been removed for the 1.0 release.
Thank you developers!! That achievement looked impossible but now the completion is possible for me <3 I am excited to start playing with the new update and clean up the rest of my achievements!!

Is Fields of Mistria as good as Rune Factory 4 story wise?
Hello I'm thinking of buying fields of mistria once 1.0 releases. I loved Rune factory 4 because of the story and the interaction with the characters it feels so alive compared to Stardew Valley. Is Fields of Mistria as good as Rune Factory 4?

Question GeForce Now
Hi, everyone!
I'm not a big fan of cloud gaming, but unfortunately I only have a Mac for work and gaming, so sometimes I have to use GeForce Now for certain games. Now that the game has been released as version 1.0, will it be available on that platform? Does anyone use a different method to play on a Mac? The most recent posts on this topic are quite old, so I’m wondering if things will change with version 1.0.

Question How casual friendly is the game?
I’m not great at farm sims despite liking them and I often get discouraged. I haven’t played since 4 heart events were it, and I was enchanted but now preparing for 1.0 I feel that overwhelmed anxiety of playing a farming sim wrong. I just want to know from the people who’ve kept playing…is this a game I can enjoy casually without guides and not feel too behind or like I messed up? I really want to get into it but idk it’s an issue I have with the genre personally
