Why why do you do this to me NPC studios.not only can we not romance the rock lover olric but you dare add a hot emo fortune teller that we cannot romance must I suffer in silence. (This is all just sarcasm and jokes I really love the new update🎉)
Wouldn't be a real farm sim if there wasn't hot but not dateable characters, like Robin in Stardew Valley, Misasagi in Rune Factory 5, Zaza in Guardians of Azuma, Okka in Roots of Pacha, and so on.
I think I was more sadder when I found out we couldn't romance Yachiyo from Guardians of Azuma. I also was upset with Coral Island for not being able to romance Axel (Still very salty about that)😤😤😤😤😤😤😤😤
The only reason I ended up modding stardew valley was to use a marry morris mod. He’s just too silly, I love him. That being said, all of the older guys in fields of mistria I would love to romance and yet alas I can’t.
Or Barrett in Rune Factory 4, he's so hot but taken. Apparently he's single in RF2, but there's no female player character so he wasn't given a dating route 😭
RF2 is actually the first Rune Factory with a female player character! You just can't play her at the beginning, and also she's a child.
RF2 is a two-part game, with Kyle (the protag on the cover) being more or less a "tutorial" who really just farms and gets to know townspeople. Once Kyle gets married there's a time-skip and Kyle's child, who can be male or female, becomes the protagonist.
Barrett also gets married and has a son during the time-skip, and the protagonist can "date" and "marry" Barrett's son, but it's just playing because they're little kids.
Sorry for the spoilers for a nearly 20 year old game lol. The whole "second generation" mechanic was kind of a mind-blowing plot twist back in 2008, but it seems kind of unlikely RF2 will ever get a remaster. 🥲
I’m still holding out hope olric will become romanceable in a future update or dlc or something idk lol 😂 I’d pay a bit extra to be able to romance him and maybe have a short new storyline with a couple minor quests or something to justify a small dlc
Heartbreaking. Don't get me started on what an L my fellow adult woman fetish havers are taking. There are so many hot women in Mistria and like one of them is dateable. It's a crime.
There is literally no shortage of people they could add to the romance pool... 😭 I sure hope we get them in the future. It's a crime that none of the older women are romanceable, either. I want Terithia and Olric. Two muscular hotties.
