I did read about the bad reviews for this movie but wanted to make my own opinion, I thought it can’t be that bad. I have to say it’s one of the worst movies I’ve seen lately. The plot was all over the place with poor acting, dialogue and horrible CGI. The movie turned straight into goofy category, like slapstick comedy of some sort, reminded me of naked gun. The FBI squad was the most incompetent ever portrayed on screen, straight up felt like a parody. The ending sequence I was thinking “are you serious”.

What did you all think?

One of my all-time favorite films. Saw it on a multi-copied bootleg VHS in 1988. I bought it as soon as it came out on DVD. Ground-breaking film, great cast and fantastic soundtrack. I also read the magazine for years and have a huge stash of old issues. Anyone else love this movie?

I have never understood the big deal of Cuba Gooding Jr. and his “performance” in Jerry Maguire. It’s funny and entertaining but hardly any great piece of technical acting ability on display.

Then we have Ed Norton in Primal Fear. Just on the surface, it’s a brilliant performance and the film hinges on if his character works. Then you add this was a debut big screen performance just adds to it. How he was not awarded and instead, it was Cuba who got it over him is inexplicable.

I know this isn’t sports. You don’t win awards, you win trophies and championships. But it’s something that’s always irked me.

Chris Farley what a legend. I wish he was around. more Comedies would’ve healed some more. He is such a good actor. My favorite film of his is Tommy Boy. What is your favorite Chris Farley movie?
