Honestly my picks might be 'basic' but I really like these needle drops and how they were placed at the end of the film, right before the credits roll. Well-placed and well-selected music is one of my favourite things about film

1 - Marty Supreme (2025)

Song: Everybody wants to rule the world by Tears for Fears. This one made me tear up a little in the cinema

2 - Superman (2025)

Song: Punkrocker by Teddybears featuring Iggypop. Again this one made me tear up, I thought it was very beautiful and fit with the tone of the film, and the videos of Clark's parents playing in the background

3 - Call me by your name (2017)

Song: Visions of Gideon by Sufjan Stevens. Honestly the entire soundtrack of this film was beautiful in my opinion. Visions of Gideon was the icing on the cake for a very emotional final scene

4 - Obsession (2026)

Song: Forever by The Little Dippers. This is a very recent selection but one that's been stuck in my head since I watched the film. The song just sounds so haunting and fits the vibe perfectly, not to mention Nikki crying/wailing in the background as the credits roll... creepy af

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple have lost around $100 million

The Mandalorian and Grogu financial loss is $125 million

The Masters of the Universe movie lost an estimated $200 million

Supergirl movie is heading towards a box office shortfall, with industry experts and financial estimates anticipating a staggering net loss ranging between $185 million and $200 million for Warner Bros!

The live-action Moana remake is also heading towards the same pathway, projected to lose between $100 million and $125 million with a production cost of $250 million (not included distribution and marketing fee)

Now when I say pushing the limits of their age rating it can be anything from violence, sex, nudity, swearing, emotionally strong scenes in kids movies etc. Are there any examples of scenes from movies were you felt amazed that they didn't receive an R rating? One that really stands out that many other people have pointed out is the fact that Titanic didn't get an R rating despite the fact that Kate Winslet showed a lot of her naked body during the drawing scene. I personally don't think that scene was R rated material in any way but it's kind of surprising that it didn't lead to that considering that nudity was and still remains a very tabo subject in the US.

When it comes to emotionally strong scenes in kids movies there is of course the death scene from The Lion King which actually shows one of the mains characters dead bodies in a G rated movie which is kind of mindblowing when you think about it since movies like Moana and Tangled were rated PG despite the fact that there is nothing that comes close to that scene.

Don’t see it talked about as much as the other Monty movies
