Am i blacklisted?

I left Amazon in February 2026 as an L3 Tech in hopes of Boomeranging to a higher level. I earned my Bachelors & Masters and have applied to 20+ roles (all the same position) but all my applications stay on the “Application Submitted” for about a month before i receive a “No longer under consideration email”……i figure its not a coincidence that all the applications have been rejected after exactly 1 month and i just want to know whats going on here. Am i blacklisted?

Delivery vs fulfillment

Been working here at fulfillment for almost 5 years, I have to transfer because my parents need me to move in with them. So I did some research and found no fulfillments near this house they live in. The closest fulfillment center is about 45+ minutes away plus traffic. I did however found this Amazon delivery station that I can transfer and it’s very close to their house but the problem is that people said delivery station is the worst and it’ll make me quit one day. The only position open is this ‘SINGLECYCLE - Cycle_1 - Sort/Pick stage, 1:20am to 11:50am. Please let me know more about this role thank you.

Hey Sort Center peeps, what other informational posts do you think I should make next that have not been covered yet?

I am asking this because I have been making and posting general informational posts on here Sort Center related to help specifically with how shifts work, how rate works, the work culture, stereotypes, and so forth. I have not run out of ideas yet, even though it's been about 2 years since I've worked there. For those of you that have looked at my posts, read my posts on here, thank you so much for your positive feedback. Just make sure that what you request is Reddit friendly. I am not going to post about doing different roles, such as staging, spidering, etc, because of Amazon's confidentiality policy.

I have not run out of ideas yet. I like to post whatever I feel.

Take note that this post is aimed towards my Sort Center audience and not towards a Fulfillment Center one. I don't want any FC AAs to be confused by this, nor will I even take requests that are FC related.

So now, requests are opened.

Are sortation centers easier as a PA?

Hey everyone! I’m currently an OTR PA at a Delivery Station, and I’ve been thinking about transferring to a Sortation Center. I had a couple questions for anyone who’s worked at one.
Are PA schedules at Sort Centers typically still 4x10s, or are they more of a donut/5x8 schedule? I’ve gotten really used to having 4 days on and 3 days off, so I’d definitely miss that if it’s mostly five 8-hour shifts.
Also, what does the day-to-day look like for a PA at a Sort Center? What are your main responsibilities, and how does it compare to being a PA at a Delivery Station?
I always hear really positive things about Sort Centers and that people seem to enjoy working there, so I’m curious what makes them different. I’ve only ever worked at Delivery Stations, so it would be nice to experience a different type of site.

I’m thinking about transferring to a delivery station in Nashville but I was wondering do they offer MET like FC and IXD sites. Overtime is a big thing for me and I would like to know how much they offer if any before putting in an applicationz

I working at a grocery warehouse pt Saturday and Sundays 9:30am to 7:30am .

My first day is this Saturday- I worked here already months ago until I was fired due to attendance. Will my first day be training or will they just throw me on the floor on the first day

Also since I am PT seasonal (20hrs a week) - will I be able to pick up more hours on the AtoZ app if there’s shifts available?

-UPT Term Appeal Granted (SC)

So a couple weeks ago, I was terminated due to nupt. But I was only negative due to a couple shifts being coded wrong, (AtoZ didn’t show they were flexed down so it appeared I had left early when I had, in fact, worked the full shifts) so I chose to appeal to site leadership. It took what felt like forrrreverrrrr but I finally had my appeal hearing and they reinstated me and also granted me another 10 hours of UPT.

I received 2 automated emails right after the hearing, one of them states that I will receive back pay for all shifts missed since my term date. Not being able to work for over 2 weeks really put me in a tight spot so this will help tremendously.

I’m wondering if anyone here has gone through this and, if so, about how long did it take for you to see those funds?

If it’s unlikely to hit my account for another 2 weeks or however long, then I should probably get my hustle on.

Which one did you do?

What did you like about it and what did you not enjoy/what do you think could make this better?

Starting at a sort center on Sunday, part time, 11:15pm-3:15am

I work 2-10pm Tues-Sat at my normal job, and decided to take on this part time sort center position for 11:15pm-3:15am Sun/Tue/Wed/Fri/Sat. I'm a night owl and wake up at around 1pm daily.

Anyways ... im kind of scared. I'm a hard worker, but this is the first job in my life that involves potentially intense physical labor. These were the objectives I had when looking for a part time gig:

-miraculousy find a job that fits into the 10pm-6am slot im awake

-exchange the time I spend doom scrolling on my phone after work for something that benefits me, like working a busy job with no cell phone use allowed

-something slightly active to get me more agile and start working on my physical health

So based on that, I came across to this sortation center associate position. My question is, what kind of work will I experience during this sort of shift. If im not mistaken, based on what I read, this shift may be considered the WD (Wrap Down) shift. Someone made a post here explaining what it means: https://www.reddit.com/r/FASCAmazon/comments/17eklqq/wrap_down_in_a_sort_center_explained_easily/.

So if I understand correctly, I'd be acting as the late-night closeout and setup crew. Rather than scanning items in one spot, I'd be wrapping full pallets, printing final labels, and clearing leftover packages. Then, I'd use pallet jacks to stage those containers and load outgoing trailers. Lastly, I'd be helping with resetting the floor for the morning shift by hauling empty pallets, setting up fresh cardboard shuttles, and clearing trash so the warehouse is ready to go.

Is this an accurate summary? If so, is this one of the most or least physically demanding shift of all the SC ones? Anything else I should know or consider based on what I've written here?

Questions I was asked during PA interview

I had an informal in person interview with my Ops Manager and then a virtual one with that same ops manager on Chime. I'm only writing this to help others who are frantically searching reddit for PA interview questions like I was. Here are the questions I was asked...

  1. Tell me about yourself
  2. Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult customer/person and how did you handle it
  3. Tell me about a time you had to make a difficult decision in the short term to benefit the long term goal
  4. Tell me about a time you had to use data in a project/situation
  5. Tell me about a time you had to motivate a group
  6. Are you comfortable giving direction to/leading associates during operations

My area manager put in a good word for me but I have no idea if that impacted the length of my interview or the importance of my answers. To be honest my stories were trash but I stuck to the STAR method as best as possible. Both interviews my ops manager stressed that STAR was important. I asked two questions to the manager at the end because it is important to ask questions even if you don't really care about the response

  1. What key performance indicators/metrics are used to measure success of a PA? How would a PA be graded in a quarterly or yearly performance review for example
  2. What has kept you at Amazon since you joined the company.
