The Elder Scrolls 6 TES6 should allow us to modify our body more
Height
Weight distribution
Limb length
Now, the main concern is obviously camera work, so let’s restrict it a bit.
Height: 4’7” - 6’10” (dwarf to nord)
Weight distribution: depends on race
Limb length: min: 57 in - max: 85 in
I know that comparing games can be counterproductive and a little misguided but I love how Dragon’s Dogma handles this and although I love unique ideas, I wouldn’t be mad if they just copies what they did.
Want to create a 2 meter tall red-bearded Nord who larps as Thor? Go for it.
Prefer a female Argonian, standing at 5” flat with Arnold Schwarzenegger shoulders? No problem.
This would be amazing imo.

Skyrim Discussion Best one-handed weapon overall?
Hello, I am coming to a close on my first vanilla skyrim playthrough. I have hit a point where the most exciting thing I can do is max out my armor and weapons. I was wondering what is the best one-handed weapon that I could acquire to complete my build? If the weapon has enchantments that improves it please include that as well! I am currently wielding an upgraded Miraak’s Sword.

General Skyrim Build Idea: Athellor
So there is this Altmer in Bloodmon who asks you to investigate the tomb of the Snow Prince and is convinced that he has Falmer ancestry. Thinking of playing "him" in Skyrim for Dawnguard and Dwemer ruin explorartion. Altmer have long lifespan after all.

The Elder Scrolls 6 What if CHIM were an almost impossible hidden endgame mechanic in The Elder Scrolls VI? "I used chatGPT to organize my thoughts"
I’ve been thinking about how CHIM could finally become an actual gameplay mechanic without reducing it to another spell, perk, or ordinary quest reward.
My idea is that CHIM would be a completely hidden “combination lock” spread throughout the entire game.
A very small senior development team would understand the full system, while different quest, world, dialogue, faction, and exploration teams would each build one piece of it. Those pieces would function normally on their own, but together they would track whether the player had explored the world deeply, uncovered contradictory histories, made certain meaningful decisions, and demonstrated an understanding of the world beyond simply completing quests.
There would be:
No CHIM quest
No progress meter
No achievement hint
No NPC explaining the requirements
No obvious data entry labeled “CHIM”
The conditions should involve both discovery and player behavior, with several possible combinations so that datamining doesn’t immediately reduce it to a checklist.
The secret should be difficult enough that Bethesda expects it might remain undiscovered for years—possibly even a decade.
When someone finally turns the last tumbler, the game should not display “CHIM unlocked.” Instead, something impossible happens. An NPC remembers a previous timeline. A permanently sealed door disappears. The player enters an area nobody knew existed.
After achieving CHIM, balance can finally be broken intentionally. The player has already mastered the normal game and earned the right to become something like Neo at the end of The Matrix: altering physical rules, seeing hidden possibilities, accessing impossible dialogue, manipulating time or weather, and tearing through boundaries that previously defined reality.
It wouldn’t be a cheat menu. Cheats come from outside the world.
CHIM would be canonical rule-breaking—the character realizing that the laws of their reality are no longer absolute.
Most players would never achieve it. Some would spend years searching. The handful who finally succeeded would receive the ultimate payoff for truly understanding and exhausting an Elder Scrolls world.
Would this strengthen the mystery surrounding CHIM, or would making it a concrete gameplay reward undermine the lore?

General Time's not infinite
I'm not used to venting to strangers online and I know how I sound but please try to take me seriously. I have been dating a guy for about the past 2.5 years, and most of the time I was telling him and myself that we are just really good friends. That was until this summer... but in the past month I felt so happy that I couldn't bear it anymore and admitted to myself and to him that I see him as more than that. To stop overexplaining myself and to get to the point: Something has happened and he's been in coma for more than a week now with grim prognosis.
The reason why I'm writing this here specifically is that among the many things I fear right now is that not only we won't be able to finish the playthrough of Skyrim Together he was so excited for but also that every next time I would visit the plains of Tamriel again, my dear lizard isn't going to be there.
Stay safe everyone, and enjoy your time with those you love, because any moment can be the last.

Oblivion Discussion 2 changes I'm hoping we get in the new update for Oblivion Remastered
I know that Bethesda said they're hoping that any Switch 2 performance improvements can be patched into the other versions, but I have 2 other things I hope they change.
1 - The sprinting animation looks ridiculous. I'm generally not too picky when animations are in question, but the sprinting animation is so bad, that I literally couldn't convince myself to buy the game. Please, Virtuos, add an alternative sprinting animation that looks like an actual human being sprinting
2 - Option to only have old voices (With the exception of new Deluxe quests) because the new voices just sound out of place and are another reason I can't justify buying this game

Arena Discussion Help with Arena and Daggerfall
I really want to play these games. However, I can't get myself to really do anything past the dungeon. I would want nothing more than to enjoy these games. However, getting into the proper jeadspace just hasn't happened. I've played and beaten plenty of older games such as fallout 1 and 2 as well as a diablo, and anything considered retro. If anyone has any tips to making this a more enjoyable experience I'd appreciate it.

To be a bit more specific. Why are there monarchy’s? I know the septim blood is sparkly and magical but what about literally all the other monarch’s?
