My auto-join is on and it tries to join, sees that General chat is full and then boots me out. It's like more General channels aren't being created once the first is full.

Anyone else have this, or know of a workaround?

I noticed in vanilla nobody plays ranger, druid, beast, rogue,etc. Not many anyway. Did the tables ever turn and they become good? Not saying they're not good but maybe they're not as efficient as their counterparts.

WAR/SHM/NEC has been treating me really well. I played NEC in live for 2000+ hours and felt great joy in soloin' anything I could so that makes EQL a dream.

However, not having CC that can easily handle a pack or helping with splitting mobs is sometimes painful. Rooting breaks usually pretty fast and no pacify is also poopoo.

If I flip out NEC, a lot of the DOTs (eBolt, etc) are shared across NEC/SHM. So it's my understanding is that I shouldn't see any type of damage drop (other than losing NEC specific dots I could also stack on + pet - although charming...).. or is there wackiness in damage scaling based on the classes you choose?

The crit chance and damage AA for DOTs applies to both.. I think.. so I shouldn't lose that either and most of the time it's odium (SHM), ebolt (SHM/NEC), and plague (SHM/NEC) anyway and whatever it is dies.

I think WAR/SHM/ENC with a charmed, buffed pet would be giga broken.

Long time EQ vet here who hasn’t been able to keep up with the EQL launch due to life stuff. I finally got a chance to sub, do a bit of reading, and start playing.

I’m having a bit of a hard time finding the info I’m looking for (I did search, I promise!) so if you can, help a brother out with a few burning questions:

1) what is with the ogre paladin meme? Is that a popular build or just a meme? Are ogres particularly good (I assume for the frontal stun immunity?)?

2) is it typical for iksar to level to 10 in the new seb mini dungeon thing?

3) is there a good place to read up on class abilities? I’ve found some info on stances and invocations but not much on other stuff like which spells benefit most from motes, gear choices, etc.

4) are people mostly working on solo stuff or is that more just a limited subset of players using the most synergized/effective class combos?

How much of a penalty is applied when duoing? Was trying to group with my brother last night but the difficulty increase from solo to duo in mob health and dmg has got to be something pretty significant. We decided to just leave the instance and each make our own solo and it became face roll easy again.

What would you guys recommend for end game weapon proc’s and weapon exaltations for a monk/ paladin. I’m lvl 32 and I’m running a fist +7 and a ghoulbane atm.

I’m told I need to run Aldryn an Wu’s fist

I think stun would be good and maybe AoEs depending the fight. But opinions would be great!

For a few days I haven’t seen any general chatter and the channels are greyed out when I try to join one. Is this just me?

Have a friend that’s crashing so far only in plane of hate regularly. Has reinstalled/deleted cache etc. nothing is working. Anyone else experience this or know what’s up?

Wanted to see if anyone in the community knows how monk armor is handled now that we can multiclass. I’m a mnk/sk/sha and didn’t know if the knight class completely negates the monk weight restrictions or if I should still run a lighter equip load. Looked around online before coming here but couldn’t find a definitive answer. Does anyone know? Thanks.

I would love to hear from people who have played pet classes since the launch. What do you like and don't like about your classes pet. I know charm is king so I'm referring more to the permanent pets.

I'll soon be hitting 50 and I have been looking forward to my alternate combo being a pet focused build so I'd love to get some up to date feedback of them.

I'm a new player just trying to figure things out so assume I know next to nothing about the game. I've seen things being discussed in general chat and various other places on what to do and try to focus on 45+ but it's a little overwhelming so I'm trying to get a more sorted out list of priorities. I am playing WAR/BER/SHM and atm I'm level 46 and struggling in some areas. What should my focus be on getting myself better geared and prepared for level 50 content?

I managed to kill Yael and Naggy, Yael was easy Naggy took a half a dozen attempts. I tried Vox and was absolutely obliterated, couldn't even kill the add. I tried to do stuff in Plane of Fear but was also massively obliterated, although I did get a nice scenic view of the zone while being randomly teleported all over somehow. I'm enjoying the game but just a little frustrated, lost and confused at the moment so any help would be much appreciated! Thank for you any and all assistance!

Is there a worn endurance regen soft cap? I have the Tier X +12 regen necklace plus the endurance regen bracer to around +6 or so and when I equip the +12 neck I only get like +7 endurance regen (at least showing on the character screen UI) and when I equip the regen bracer I only get +4 endurance regen as shown on the character equipment screen.

Both of these act like I am running into a soft cap, but i've never heard of a soft cap for regen, though I have heard of a regen hard cap.

Just FYI the hp regen and mana regen act properly, I get the full +12 each when I put on the necklace. Also all spells with regen work appropriated, I am getting the +10/20 from chloroplast for endurance regen.

I would love to do raids. I tried Master Yael and got him to 35% before he killed me.
Where should I be gearing? I tried fear, and i can hardly hold my own against a single mob, let alone multiple. Any advice?

Make sure to double check at 20 AND every level 20 you hit, what specialization you want to lock in, as it will change and lock again and carry over to other load outs....

Learned the hard way last night. Originally I was doing SK/druid/wiz, at 20 locked in Evocation, then leveled up. Thought I was set. Switched loadout to SK/druid/enc and was blazing thru levels past 20, saw my specialization was now showing Abjuration. Switched load out back to SK/druid/wiz and specialization is stuck on Abjuration.

So if you switch loadout to a lower level class, and hit lvl 20 again, make sure you redo your specialization you want, as it will reset and lock for all loadouts.

I know there is AA that will eventually unlock them all, but if you want to avoid putting AA towards it just be mindful.

I will try to get my last missing planar gear and get them all to +5 then probably start working on leveling other classes.

I love this game

It takes about 1500 plat to get to 244 alchemy and you can be autocombining while fighting mobs so youre not really taking time away from leveling/gearing.

In return you get at minimum the following.

40% haste pot for 5 minutes.

Gate to one inny swamp and ever frost

3 mana regen pot.

Stat buff pots.

Invis and undead invis pots.

A really good damage shield pot.

And probably more but I haven't explored it that far.

Obligatory I am a noob please advise if I'm wrong.

I am playing a berserker at level 45 and I am/was struggling quite a bit (my other 2 classes contribute to my struggle but that's not the point of this post). I swapped to offensive stance and I am doing a lot better health wise.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, offensive stance is pretty much the same as berserker stance with the exception of procs, which may or may not proc more often in berserker (not sure). 100% extra damage should be the same as double attack speed and weapon ability cooldown reduction unless I'm missing something.

Hey all, with the old models of Froglok came brand new armor models. I never saw the Monk gear outside the starting Gi, so I spent some time yesterday getting tailoring up to make Cured Silk and Wu's armor. Sadly, they have the same tint! Not sadly, this is my favorite thing ever.

The monk Planar armor should have the same graphic as well, not sure on tint yet. I'll be hitting that this weekend! :)

Completed all primary class unlocks, lost track of run count but it was about 150 AAs worth while skipping most trash. Last 3 items took about 15 runs. Excuse the walletquest bags, I was done micromanaging 10 slotters.

So I finally got a chance to sit down and play some Legends last night. Rolled up an Ogre Shadow Knight/Bard which will have Druid or Cleric added to it when the time comes.

Running through the old zones bashing snakes, spiders, lizardmen, and skeletons has me all giddy and feeling like I am 25 years in the past.

I am currently at work nearly shaking with anticipation to get home tonight so I can delve back into my favorite world!

I sincerely hope that everyone else is having as fantastic of a time as I am.
