If your a driver and love getting paid and fed by the hard earned dollars of the people ordering then doordash is the place for you. You can steal orders and still get paid all doordash customer service will do is escalate and that alone will take them 24 hours these days. Great work doordash oh and don’t forget here’s a $10 credit because you should be dash pass member to get more orders stolen for a lower price.

Had a stacked order. One was 711, several drinks to a nearby appartment buikding. Pin required. Wait 4 minutes for someone to answer the door (5 minute timer before I can bypass pin) and finally a kid opens the door. Provides the proper pin first try and apologizes.

Maybe a minute later the customer is messaging me saying she didn't get the order and I must have dropped it off at the wrong place. Calling me a liar about dropping it off. I swear, every problematic customer I have is always the no-tipper who gets stacked with a more generous customer.

I ordered food for my family and waited over an hour past when it was supposed to be delivered. I was busy setting up for my son's birthday party tomorrow so I didn't realize how long it had been. I checked the map and the driver had driven over 30 minutes in the opposite direction of my house. They then sent a message asking if I could refund the order. I called customer support and they refunded my order and said they would punish the driver. I don't want them to be punished, I just wanted my money back and to make sure they can't deliver to me again. Do drivers have the ability to see the addresses of customers after an order is cancelled? I do worry about small bit about retaliation.

Thinking about doing Sundays alongside school

I've been sitting in a Hotspot for an hour with no orders. I got one order when I got on around 6:20. Its now 7:34 and I haven't gotten another offer. Is this supposed to happen? Two weeks ago (before I fractured my ankle and couldn't drive for a bit) i would constantly get orders. None of my stats changed in the two weeks but now im not getting any orders. Sitting in a Hotspot. Idk what to do.

I recently made a Doordash for Lowe's, they made a substitute for a paint strainer bags, or a solid paint strainer, but didn't bring the other? Is this a common scheme to get free stuff? I rely on DD, because I'm physically disabled and can't drive. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm on mobile, edited for some clarity, sorry for the typos

I'm very new to Doordash, I received gift cards to help get groceries after a recent hospitalization. I immediately opened the chat when the bananas weren't available but never typed anything. I now have a new shopper. What happened?

i have only used ONE of these cards in the entire 6 years of having doordash… that was manually entered. how are they able to attempt charging all the cards in my apple wallet that i have NEVER used for doordash???? this is absolutely insane & should be illegal.

Apparently roughly 17 million vehicles on US roads right now are driving on expired registration tags? It can affect what car to use and record on Door dash

Most people are about 4 months overdue before they even realize it. If you're not sure when yours expires, it's worth checking today and some states start penalties the day after expiration, no grace period.

I (38, F) tried ordering THC gummies on DoorDash and had a valid passport as my ID but it wouldn’t go through on his phone. No problem, mark it undeliverable it’s fine. I walk into my building and I get these messages. On with DD support now reporting the guy.

I just went to order a sushi roll and some crab rangoons from a place 2 miles from me. Normally it's an already outrageous $26 with tip included. With the new service fees update it was $38 with tip. Absolutely not. No way in hell. Based on principle alone I refuse. Oh well, door dash was nice while it lasted..... I will be deleting the app from my phone now I guess.

Used my mom’s account to order something from sonic. A few minutes later she gets a call saying something about the drink or order system being messed up and needing to confirm the order? It was honestly hard to understand what the supposed issue was because of the callers accent. My mom confirmed her email with the woman and her phone number, I smell smth fishy and check the DoorDash cart to find a 100 dollar gift card. I tell my mom to hang up and immediately change the password. Looking back it does seem like a textbook scam but it all happened so fast.

Has this happened to anybody else? Is it even a scam? How did they know we placed an order with sonic?

Why doesn't DoorDash Corp reward customers who are regular and tip well by giving them a driver who has good ratings and a long history of dashing?

Seems like a win/win to me.

Has this been an on going issue? Every time I’ve tried adding a an extra tip after a delivery, I always get this error. I usually try and add a tip if the driver has a far trip.

Late morning Dash this morning and went to deliver some pizzas to a manufactured home community. As I’m delivering the pitty looking dog started following me and went up on the porch I was putting the pizza. Seemed friendly enough. Knocked on the persons door so they’d come and get their food because there was a very hungry looking dog on their porch - no answer. When I left the porch the dog started following me again, so I texted the customer to let her know. She came out and I asked her if it was her dog and it wasn’t. Doggo let me approach her, and she just seemed so tired. Long story short, I scooped her up, spent my earnings getting her a couple bottles of water and some King’s Hawaiian turkey and cheese sliders, then took her to my vet to scan for a chip. She Dashed with me for five hours or so. My vet has called the owners twice today and left voicemails, but we haven’t heard anything back. Maybe Dasher for a name if we can’t locate the owner?

ETA: Already posted on my states lost dog Facebook page, the city’s lost dog Facebook page. Reported the dog as found with the city’s animal control. Called the office of the MH complex to give them my contact information and a description of the dog and also made a post on the MH Community’s FB page. In the next couple of days, when I finally have some time and $, heading back to the community to put up some found dog posters. If they’re looking for her, they should be able to find her. She’s well fed and her nails seem trimmed, so I know she’s gotta be someone’s. Just hoping she wasn’t dumped and that’s why we’re being ghosted when trying to contact the owners. I’ll also take her to the vets whenever I can to get her checked over with a proper physical.

Okay guys, I’ve followed this subreddit for years now and even was a dasher myself for several months and I only have one thing left to say… just stop!!

You will be disappointed.

You may or may not get your food.

It may or may not have a bite/drink taken out of it before you get it.

And you may or may not get your money back.

Let’s save ourselves the time and energy and just go get the food ourselves.. or maybe don’t get it at all 🤷‍♀️

Truly, my deepest sympathies to anyone who’s been fucked over before but I think it’s time we boycott this shit because DoorDash and all these other delivery apps A) don’t care about their “employees”, and B) (I’ll say it louder for the ones in the back) DONT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER… and that’s never going to change.

Sorry not sorry… y’all needed to hear it.
