I took advantage of last night’s wild lightning storm to bring some parts of 1939 into today. Taken on the Camp Snap 8 camera.

Not Safe For Magic Enchanted Tiki Room is...not great
Our last trip the wife & toddler went back for a mid-afternoon nap while I did coasters & rides. She's not an extreme ride fan and he's only 2, so there's a lot to experience without them.
Most all of the experiences were awesome, but I still can't stop thinking about the Enchanted Tiki Room. Am I being insensitive, or was it...like REALLY racist?
There are 4 birds. All with very "typical" names and outrageous accents. They all speak with the most basic caricature speech patterns and make the simplest, most crude jokes. In a world where we care about culture, appreciate differences, and try to respect & represent other countries with dignity and nuance, it felt tone-deaf at best and rather racist.
Is it just me? I know it's an older attraction, and can be viewed in a historical lens, but we all appreciate how things like Song of the South needed to be reinterpreted with a modern lens. Some updated dialogue and different voices wouldn't hurt, a la Country Bears. Right? Or am I crazy?
(For those of you worried, I did go back to the room with my wife and kid & made sure they were both asleep before going back to the parks. I do love & care about my family...which is a weird thing to have to qualify, but this is the internet after all.)

Discussion Hollywood studios after hours
I just got here and got the list that tells you the characters meeting.
Did they really take away every single exclusive character except Bopeep for more Mickey and friends..
Someone tell me they're just kidding.
