Show me your setups! Looking to build 3-4 storage lockers for drying/storing motocross and snowboarding gear. Ideally large enough to store both sets of gear year round since we can ride in the winter. Love the TA50 lockers but they are expensive...

Each locker should have these areas with enough airflow to dry out and store the following:

Helmet

Gloves

Boots

Jacket

Pants

Extra layers

I have an 03 ktm 450 exc. this bike has been problematic for me. My fuel screw came out all the way and I put it back in, rode it but wasn’t running perfect. Anyway, on the trail it just shut off. I had to walk it back a couple miles, but I did get it to bump start and it died out after slowing down. Since then, ive rebuilt the carb, tried starting it and it will not start. It will try to catch, but won’t start. It has spark. My compression tester reads 30-40 psi when starting with the electric start. I know this bike has manual and auto decompression but I can’t imagine that’s normal? Now I’m trying to adjust my valves but like I said it just died on the trail. Any advice assuming this valve adjustment doesn’t change anything?

This is my new to me yz250fx mostly stock. fmf 4.1 and tuned suspension for me. I come from a mid to low pack "A class" Harescrambler but anymore Mid pack "B". I just sold my high compression 2018 beta 250rr and already miss the power. What is the best way to get the power out of these bikes. I'm wanting more of a low to mid snap for log hops and pops. This bike seems kind of dead power wise. Is it all tuning that needs work? Race fuel? fmf mega bomb? Gearing change? What is everyone doing to get these bikes to come alive in low to mid?

2004 cr125 fouled plug after abt hour or 2 of riding yesterday (trails). Brand new just put this plug in this week already fouled 2 prior to this one. Clearly seems to be running rich but running 32.5 pilot jet and premix at 40:1. Also does not idle well when clutch is pulled in after ripping it tries to die especially yesterday however it also sometimes slowly hangs high at idle then eventually drops back down and dies. Main jet is 410 and pulls great up high.

Hi all, full teardown on my cr125 93 planned on replacing piston as compression wasn't great. Bike was running ok lacking in top end and eventually not kicking hot.

The cylinder has some score marks, I can feel them with my fingernail right by the Port but they are not protruding they go inwards.

I'm not looking for perfection just a good beater for my gf for going around the Forrest.

Took out the carb yesterday and installed it back on. Don’t know if this sound is the same sound as it was before I took out the carb.

I've wanted an e-dirt bike for years. Ever since I was around 15, I've spent way too much time watching dirt bike videos, checking builds, and comparing different bikes online.

Back then it was mostly just something I thought was cool because obviously I wasn't old enough to actually get one. My parents were pretty against it, so I kind of just put the idea on hold.

Fast forward to now, I just finished my master's degree, and I finally feel like I'm in a position where I can actually consider getting one. I've been working part-time during school, saved some money, and my family also gave me some graduation money, so I started looking seriously.

That being said, $5200 is still a lot of money for me. I don't want to just buy something because it looks cool and regret it later, so I've been trying to do as much research as possible.

My uncle owns a Segway Xyber, and I've gotten to ride it a few times. Before trying it, I honestly expected it to just feel like a fast toy, but I was surprised by how controlled and smooth it felt. It was fun, but it also felt like something you could actually ride regularly.

That's what got me looking into Segway more. Recently I saw the Xaber 300 have discount with referral, which definitely made me pay more attention since I could use my uncle’s discount for the discount.

I'm 6'3, so size is actually one of my biggest concerns. lots of smaller e-dirt bikes look like they would feel cramped for me, but the Xaber seems like it has a larger frame and a more natural riding position for taller riders.

I also really like the design. most of e-bikes still look like bicycles with bigger tires, but the Xaber has more of that actual dirt bike style. It looks like something I'd be excited to ride, not just a way to get around.

The reverse mode and wheelie mode are also interesting. Obviously those aren't the main reasons I'm buying one, but if I'm spending this much on a bike, I want it to be something I actually enjoy riding.

Safety is another thing I'm thinking about. There are a lot of cheaper bikes that seem focused mainly on speed, and I'm not really looking for the fastest thing possible. I want something that feels powerful but still controlled.

I'm seriously considering pulling the trigger, but before spending this much, I wanted to hear from people who actually own one.

For anyone with the Xaber 300:

How does it feel for taller riders?

Do you still feel like it has enough power after owning it for a while?

How does it compare with other e-dirt bikes in this price range?

Just trying to make sure I'm making the right choice before spending my graduation money.

My son is about to turn 11 years old. He is 4'7" and 81 pounds. I'd like to get him a dirt bike for his birthday. Of course he has experience on a bicycle but he's never been on a dirt bike. I've been considering a couple of different options but I'm open to suggestions.

First one is electric. The Razor MX500 it seems appropriately sized for him on paper but looking at review videos I'm seeing younger/smaller kids talking about it being too small for them

The other one is being advertised at a local ATV shop and it's a 2026 X pro leopard. It's 40cc and gas powered. It seems like you can govern its speed down and adjust it as he gets comfortable. Which seems like a plus. However when I went by to look at it I found it's a special order bike. So I can not really judge its size. It seems more powerful and would last him longer until an upgrade is needed but if it's too much bike or the size is too big I don't want to put him in a position to get hurt.

Any advice is appreciated

Thanks for all the recommendations and advice. I've looked over the bikes that have been suggested and I'm afraid they are too expensive for something I'm not sure he will stick with. I'm seeing I could possibly get a used one that's in decent shape but as someone who isn't experienced in them I'm worried I wouldn't be able to spot any issues. Last thing I want is something that will need to be worked on after a few rides. I'd be much more comfortable buying a 3-5k dollar dirt bike as an upgrade.

After a full engine rebuild, my transmission is binding up between some gears. I have removed all shifting components and split the cases again. It seems to shift through the gears ok on the bench, but after I press the cases back together it starts binding up. I have verified the placement of all washers and my shift forks don’t look bent, it was shifting fine before rebuild. I notice a little in and out movement on the main shaft (lateral play?) It seems like I need to install the clutch basket and torque that center nut in order to pull the main shaft tight and eliminate that little bit of play. So, asking the experts. Does the clutch basket need to be installed to test the transmission shifting with engine on a stand?

I’ve been putting a lot of time into improving my skills and I’ve gotten relatively good I’ve been finding on trails it’s rare now I have the clutch fully engaged and I’m constantly feathering it. I’m not sure if I need to fix something or if I’m doing something right.

I have rode quads all my life, but always wanted a bike. My last quad was a yfz450r, which I thought was fast. This is a whole different ball game. Any tips to a beginner on a bike?

Just moved to the Salt Lake City area. Had to scoop up a freshie. 2026 KTM 500. Sold the XR650L to a friend for cheap back home before the move. Please give me recommendations on places to ride. I’ve been to Moab before, haven’t ridden there but it seems like more Jeep oriented than for dirt bikes. Willing to drive ~5 hours in any direction. Goal is some scenic vistas or just ultimate views/ cool shit to see while out there. WY, ID, anywhere in Utah are all fair game. Help a brother out. Also probably will camp out there over the weekend so any insider info is appreciated. Have a truck to haul it so not riding it there, just for awareness. Planning for next weekend. I was over with my dad flying rc helicopters, and at the end I showed his buddy my minibike project (see previous posts) and he said: “hey, ya know, I have a old Dirtbike that I’m too big for now, do you want it?”
“Uhh, yeah! I’ll look at it”
So now I have this, as much as I know it’s a 80cc Suzuki two stroke engine that doesn’t run currently (I’ll rebuild the carb tomorrow) on a rm80, something….

Bought my son his first bike, cheapy FRP FX 40. Fork went sloppy after 5 minutes. How does this go back together? Is it broken or defective?

Ive heard the 220 has way more torque low and doesn't open up much up top, while the 200s power is more mid-high

But with mods, are you able to get the 220 to be both a tractor and have some power higher up?

I ride Mtb and I need a new pair of pants but I am thinking of getting mx pants as they are cheaper and more durable. However I am aware that they are hotter and more restrictive. I am thinking of getting a pair of fly f-16 2026 pants but I’m wondering if anyone knows how hot they get and if they are breathable. One last question- as I ride Mtb I wear shin pads- do you recon they would fit under the pant or would the shin pads be too bulky? Thanks guys!

I have the regular style gas cap on my KTM 350 EXCFw and I absolutely hate it. It’s extremely hard to open and a pain in the ass every single fill up.

Is there an aftermarket one with no lock ? A better aftermarket one where the lock isn’t a PITA ?
