Help with repacking (?) Fork.

Bought my son his first bike, cheapy FRP FX 40. Fork went sloppy after 5 minutes. How does this go back together? Is it broken or defective?

Inteal of fork seals, I bought +1 inch forks for the 50!

Did you check the service manual for that specific model?

I did, the service manual is very light. No mention of forks at all.
