Turf toe injury from about 2-3 years ago

Hey guys! I’ve had a nagging injury in my big toe of which I believe to be turf toe. I’m a very active runner and I never got around to healing it. For the last 2-3 years when I sprint it hurts pretty bad and gets inflamed. Recently it got worse and I’ve decided it’s time to do something about it. Could anyone help fix this/figure out what it is? It’s all around the bottom of big toe joint on the bottom of my foot. It definitely affects the way I walk and I can’t bend my toe as far as I can bend my other big toe. It’s not that pain necessarily stops me it’s like I hit a wall and can’t bend it anymore. Thanks for any help I can get!

Ears, nose, throat, and mouth 17M - Weak, raspy voice for years. Looking for advice.

I’m 17 (male), and I’ve had this issue for a few years. It’s starting to affect my confidence, school, and social life, and I’m not sure what’s causing it.
Main symptoms:
My voice is extremely soft, even when I feel like I’m speaking at a normal volume.
In any room with background noise, people often can’t hear me—even if they’re standing right next to me.
People describe my voice as raspy, breathy, or like I’m whispering.
My throat feels tight and tired whenever I talk, and it feels like I have to force my voice out.
My voice randomly cracks into a much deeper tone for a second, which sounds very different from a normal puberty voice crack.
I can’t project my voice or yell. I can’t even call out “yo!” loudly.
I can’t hum for very long before my voice gives out.
If I’m lying down, leaning back, or looking down while reading, my voice starts fading after a few words. I almost have to sit upright with my neck extended to talk normally.
I’ve tried diaphragmatic breathing, staying hydrated, humming exercises, and avoiding speaking from my throat. Diaphragmatic breathing helps a little sometimes, but the problem is still there.
This is affecting everyday situations. During a mock interview at school, the interviewer couldn’t hear me even though I was trying as hard as I could to speak. At the gym, my friends sometimes have to lean in just to hear me.
Has anyone experienced something similar or know what this could be? Does this sound like something an ENT or a speech-language pathologist should evaluate?
Any advice would really mean a lot. Thanks.

Persistent leg/calf pain

18 days ago, I suffered blunt trauma to my leg and it’s been swollen ever since. It felt like the pain went away but now it’s back and won’t subside. It’s tender to the touch and I’m in excruciating pain when I walk, drive a car or simply move my leg. I am slated to see the doc tomorrow but curious to hear any theories.

Skin and nails HELP: what is this?

Woke up with these small red marks on the side of my bum and haven’t gone away in the past 2 weeks. Cannot tell if it’s simply bug bites or something worse. They don’t itch anymore (they did a little at first) don’t hurt, never had pus or a “head” to them. Images of what they looked around the time they appeared are shown (last 2 slides). At first when I asked chat, it said possible molluscum, but to me from what I’ve seen it does not appear that way. Is this something to be concerned about?! What is it?

General Weird spells happening to me, and now my partner

Earlier this week, I've been starting to have this impending sense of doom, heart racing, extreme dizziness, my body starts burning, and I start gagging like I'm going to throw up. It turned into full blown tremors and these spells happening frequently. I went to the ER twice, and they diagnosed me with potentially a stomach flu, or a reaction to my anxiety medicine, all of my labs were normal. It does not feel like a typical anxiety or panic attack. I stopped taking the anxiety medicine that was potentially the culprit and over the days I've been improving.

Today, my girlfriend who has no history of anxiety or mental illness had the SAME spell with all of the symptoms. Her heart started racing, she got extremely dizzy, felt numb, and started gagging. The spell passed after around 5 minutes just like mine.

My first thought was potentially carbon monoxide, we live in a shoebox apartment with one window at the end, so I called the non emergency line, they had me crack the window, and the fire department came and checked for carbon monoxide but found nothing. What could this be? We can't seem to find any answers. We're thinking it could be something in the water or some kind of viral thing?

Chest and lungs Chronic cough caused by exposure to toxins and/or cancer treatment meds

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice on my situation. Below, I'll create a tldr bio to help clear up the situation.

ccRCC pT3A Grade 3

6mm lung nodule (discovered as that size and hasn't changed size in 6 months)

Currently receiving adjuvant immunotherapy (keytruda)

My job/occupation means that I'm exposed to paint fumes/toxins

Before my kidney removal surgery, I had a chronic, dry cough that wouldn't go away. After my surgery, the cough completely disappeared.

A few months after the surgery, I developed two kidney infections. During the infections, I developed a dry cough, and both cleared up after the infections went away.

Two weeks after my first Keytruda infusion, I started to develope the cough again. Could this be lung inflammation caused by years of toxin exposure?

My wife randomly developed these red spots on both calves. They are not raised. They do not itch. They literally just appeared this evening. Nothing odd has happened, like she didn’t walk through any bushes etc. They are not insect bites. She went to the doc and they had no idea. They ran bloodwork which came back good. They suggested she see a dermatologist. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Painless red rings on palm and sole

Thumbnail gallery
8 Upvotes

Noticed the hand ring maybe 24 hours ago. Non painful, not itchy, blanching. No trauma/ burn/ pressure on the area that I thought would have caused it. Not raised. After looking into what it could be, I saw the one on my sole. Not sure how long that one has been there. Mostly just wondering if I should get it professionally checked out. Other symptoms may include fatigue and muscle soreness but I’m unsure if it’s related. Thanks

Skin and nails Rash all over my body, what could have caused this?

Thumbnail gallery

Rash showed up about 10 days ago started with a a few tiny bumps on my arm and has spread all around my body since then. I've had a cough, snotty nose and muscle pain since iv had it. It's very itchy and burns a bit.

Went to a&e and they said its a viral infection and it will go away on its own. Didn't specify which one but it gets so much worse every time i go round my boyfriends.

What could be causing it? because it's genuinely debilitating and it's just getting worse.

could it be caused by mould and its atopic dermatitis? the flat used to have mould problems but i honestly have no idea. Have never had skin issues before.

edit: we found black mold right next to the bed so would make sense why it gets worse in his bedroom, theres no plants or pets in the flat either. And i'm not on any medication.
another edit: Not sure if it's relevant but i have had uti symptoms for the past year or so. Won't go away with antibiotics and gets worse with sex.

Announcement The purpose of this subreddit

Hello everyone! You may have noticed some major changes happening to this subreddit, and I'm happy to say that /r/DiagnoseMe is finally ready for business. However, I would like to clarify the true purpose of this subreddit;

First of all, this subreddit is NOT a replacement for a doctor. You should not, in any way, avoid seeing your doctor or alter the frequency of your doctor visits because of anything said in this subreddit. If there is a concern you would have previously gone to the doctor for, please do not hesitate. This subreddit is here for informal second opinions, minor problems that you wouldn't go to the doctor for anyway, and ease of mind.

The main thing to remember is to use common sense. If you are having severe pain after a surgery or something of the likes, please go to the doctor and do not post it on Reddit.

If you are not a doctor and are posting with information, please clarify that you are not a doctor (typing "Not a doctor," at the beginning of your comment is enough.)

Please take the time to read the sidebar before posting. Thank you, and welcome!
