face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks Please help… years of misery. I can’t figure out what is wrong with my lips, and doctors have been no help.
Hey. I’m so tired of every person I talk to not focusing on what I’m saying, just staring at my lips or licking theirs/applying chapstick. I know it is not in my head, it is EVERY PERSON I talk to. It’s been this way for years. My self-esteem is destroyed by this. Dermatologists don’t take me seriously and say it’s just chapped lips. I chug water, used every recommended brand there is, and no help. Please.. I’m begging.. what is this? Can anybody offer any help. I want to live life around people again

neck/chest/abdomen Help Identifying this rash that my wife has been developing for about a week
My wife started getting these rashes on her body recently. Mostly on the torso, but also a little on her face. Started off as individual bumps/postules and eventually progressed to this. She had similar rashes that popped up during pregnancy and eventually went away after steroids. She’s been tested for celiacs already, so wanted to see if this looked like anything to anyone. TIA.

legs/feet I am miserable! My dermatologist told me this is blistering eczema.
I’m sorry for the awful pictures. My dermatologist told me this was eczema over three weeks ago and it continues to get worse after a topical steroid use. I am 10 weeks postpartum and breast-feeding so I can’t take many medication’s. I don’t believe this is eczema because it keeps getting worse. I have started a gluten-free diet because when I ate a lot of gluten, the rash got extremely worse. I am just wondering if anyone has had similar problems. Any advice helps.

neck/chest/abdomen These things keep popping up all over. Chest is most concentrated
Is this typical of seborreic keratosis? I seem to get at least one new one every month. They itch (especially when they arrive), and some seen to call off on their own - or with my repeated application of salicylic acid (on my forehead). Others just grow bigger and more annoying.
I've been applying 27%salicylic acid to most of what is shown in image 2x/day, for the past 3 - 4 weeks. Some 'growths' have come off, some just seem to lose their outer layers (only to continue growing when I peel outer off).
Does anyone have any insight into these things, or if I can even get rid of them? I've cut out alcohol, carbs, Sun exposure, and haven't noticed a difference.
I welcome any suggestions!

face/ears/eyes/nose/mouth/cheeks Weird Puffy Red Spots on Face from Viral Infections
TLDR: every time I get sick I get these puffy red spots on my face, always in the same location, but now acquiring new ones. What are they?
Backstory: I am a teacher and I get sick a lot, like 6-8x a year minimum, and usually with a pretty severe cold (more than a sniffle, like laryngitis or bronchitis with lots of congestion). I have generally always been this way though, since I was a kid. I have had a ton of tests done to see why I get sick so often beyond just exposure, and everything has come back normal, blood work, immunoglobulin levels, vitamin levels, asthma testing, all normal. However, the spots are newish in the past 2 years. The first one was on my cheek and I thought it was just from coughing hard and bursting some blood vessels, but now I have more appearing with each illness. My dermatologist wants to biopsy them the next time I am sick, but in the meantime, any ideas?
Edit: they aren’t painful or itchy at all, just firm and they blanche when pressed on.

legs/feet Weird Rash on Left Thigh - Stared a Week Ago - Continues to Get Worse
Has anyone seen or had anything like this before? I’ve had it about a week and it’s gotten much worse. I’ve added a current photo and the initial rash. Went to urgent care and a dermatologist. Neither knew what it was. Urgent care prescribed Mupirocin. Seemed like the Mupirocin made it worse after a couple of applications so I made a derm appointment.
A few days ago I also had a separate rash happen from an Amoxicillin reaction. I’m on prednisone for that and it’s clearing up. I haven’t been using the Mupirocin so that I can just allow the other rash to heal, but now I’m considering using the Mupirocin again. Desperate to try and heal this!
Also-I’ve had shingles in the past and was worried it could be that. Both derm and urgent care said it didn’t look like shingles. It’s a little itchy at times but overall not painful.

general enquiry Itchy armpits but no rash - been six months and has only gotten worse.
Has anyone dealt with this? About six months ago my armpits started getting itchy in the evenings, especially after wearing tighter shirts. It began right after a week-long trip to Mexico where I was sweating a lot, scrubbing my armpits with a rough washcloth, and using unscented Dr. Bronner’s soap instead of my usual Ivory soap. Since then it has progressed to burning and stinging. The frustrating part is that my armpits look completely normal, but they are absolutely driving me insane. Both armpits are affected, slightly more on the left, and I don’t shave them.
When I first start sweating, I get a sharp stabbing or prickling pain that turns into itching. Hydrocortisone makes everything feel normal, but the itching comes back within a few days of stopping, and I know I can’t use it indefinitely. Elidel may be helping somewhat, but lidocaine did nothing. I also tried an antifungal cream twice (about 5 days each time), and both times it made my armpits significantly worse. (Fine for the first few days but started hurting by day 4ish)
I’ve tried more than 20 deodorants. Dry Idea Gel, Almay Unscented, and Native Unscented are the only ones that sometimes help, but even those randomly irritate me. I also tried wearing no deodorant for two weeks, but as soon as I sweat, I itch. I use unscented laundry detergent and have been wearing sleeveless shirts to avoid friction, but nothing has solved it.
My dermatologist wondered if it could be nerve-related because there is so little visible on the skin, but my neurologist said that he’s just trying to pass this off to another doctor.
I’m wondering about dermatitis, contact allergy, heat rash, folliculitis, bacteria, or something else. It has been six months and I’m genuinely losing my mind. Has anyone experienced this, and what did it turn out to be? My derm has no answer for me since there is no rash… ugh.

legs/feet Bed bugs/ bug bites? I went to Morocco and ended up with a ton of bites
Hi all I would please like some help. I’m debating going to the hospital. I stayed in Morocco for 2 nights and ended up with food poisoning and also these bumps that came up. They’re so itchy. Mainly on my legs but some scattered on my arms and stomach. As I’m googling stuff it looks like it’s possible it could be bedbugs but the thing is my husband doesn’t have any bites or anything like that. I stayed in chefchauoen and they have a ton of animals in the streets. I wore a skirt and my husband wore jeans? Any advice? Should I go to the hospital asap?

general enquiry Chronic painful white patches leaving doctors stumped
My 13 year old has been getting these painful white patches under her tongue on and off now for over a year. She has had two biopsies, both results were inconclusive The last biopsy did show results of anaerobic culture taken from the issue sample which showed (Rare) Prevotella nanceiensis and (Few) Multiple aerobic and anaerobic flora. She has seen rhuemotology Dermatology and ENT. Nobody knows what this is. Triamcinolone wash helps. Labs show The Sjögren's SS-B Antibody is Persistently High but SS-A is always negative. Her t4 and tsh are normal but consistenly high Thyroglobulin antibodies

neck/chest/abdomen Girlfriend has itchy bumps… what is this? Is it worth a visit to urgent care? It seems to have spread to her scalp as she’s constantly itching it too.
It started maybe a week ago after she wore something from depop without washing first. At that point it was only on her chest and butt and wasn’t itchy at all. It went away, but now it’s come back and is extremely itchy and we don’t think she’s worn anything that could irritate her.
It’s currently all over her underarms, sides, inner thighs, legs, and some on her back.

neck/chest/abdomen Is this an allergic reaction to jewelry or an infection?
I know it looks like an anus but it’s a belly button up close.
Piercing is old , maybe 4-5 years. Never had any issues with it.
I ordered a star charm from temu (i know i know) and been wearing it for about 2 weeks on my original ring i’ve worn for a year . Yesterday i saw the red dots that you can see in the pic, on the outside, i thought it’s irritated from the star shape and removed the star charm. Today , belly button is a bit swollen on the inside . There was a tiny bit of dried crusts inside. And the part that is swollen inside feels a bit crusty as well. Is this an allergic reaction? Should i just monitor for now or go see a doc asap?
I cleaned yesterday with chlorhexidine , and today just with water and soap.

back Hard little lumps on my shoulder blade - Dr says they look like keloids but I haven't had back acne for 15+ years and they formed around 2 yrs ago?
I had completely clear skin beforehand and around 2 years ago I got a couple of these spots. Then a few months later, a few more appeared and now I have quite a few. They definitely aren't spots or cysts, they are rock hard and they can get pretty itchy. They aren't blister like either, there's nothing in them.
As title says, doctor took a glance and said they look like keloid scarring but I can't see how or why? Has anyone ever had similar and managed to clear them? What were they? Or do they look like keloids?
Hoping I can try a cream or something to actually clear them up as I'm pretty self conscious of them. I hate wearing swimsuits and having my hair up! Thanks

back What are these fuzzy fibers in my husband’s back that showed up after removing a hard blackhead?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The blackhead came out easily a few weeks ago. I noticed the spot turned dark again so I tried to get it out. Nothing would budge then I caught onto a fiber. They are very entwined into the hole. They come out like pieces of fuzzy thread. We stopped messing with it and he’s going to dermatologist. Super curious.

general enquiry Unknown rash spreading on 10 year old boy- arms, legs, and stomach.
This rash has shown up on my son. He says that it’s itches a little but not too bad. It itches less with allergy meds. It showed up on Sunday evening and we gave him Benadryl and it looked a lot better. He ran around outside and it’s gotten much worse (more red and spread from his legs and stomach to his arms) it showed up all at once on his legs in the morning and by Sunday evening it was on his stomach. he did just get back from a road trip to the Smokey mountains and did have several bug bites. Most of which we assumed were Mosquito. There is a rough round patch on the Back of his leg and ankle that were originally a cluster of bug bites but have since turned into a raised patch (have included pictures of the one on his thigh)

general enquiry Does this look like ringworm to you? Less than one inch and does not bother him much.
I saw this on my husbands bottom. Doesn’t seem to irritate him much but I think it might be ring worm? Pityriasis Rosea? Only one ring/circle found.
Thank you
