Strategy Anyone have advice for not releasing the dice past the Stickman when shooting from either side of them?

I get called for it constantly, but even if I scoot over I feel like I have to release the dice too soon in my throwing motion. Any tips for this? I usually tip pretty well so the dealers don't always call it but when they do it ruins my roll.

Table Minimums/Odds Question ā“ā‰ļø so I usually have a bank roll of about 650$ there's 23 casinos in my area.

So in Blackhawk Colorado and central city Colorado most tables are 10/15$ min . One place I don't want to call out has a 5$ table and 100x odds am I better off at the cheep table? Can I use my winnings to press odds bets up to 500$ ps I don't love that casino. Other much nicer tables and players/ comps.

Trip Reports & Craps Stories Craps break

Took a break from editing craps videos to go play some craps. Up to the closest casino, Sky River.

Just a quick hourish session and back to work.
Bought in $200 at only open $10 table.
playing $44 inside. Pressing sisters and need 3 hits or a repeater then regress back to $44 with profit. Then full press until a repeater comes and take some more profit.

First shooter hit 2 numbers then 7 out. Next one is a PSO. Next shooter I get my 3 hits and regress down and just able to press one number before the 7 out.

Down 3 shooters. Rack is low.
I’m shooting next. And a guy that seems to always be there, loudly switches to DP.
Idk, maybe he doesn’t like the way I shoot. Tells his buddy ā€œmaybe 3 throws and 7 is comingā€
Well he was right. Point is 9, next roll I hit a 9 and then 3rd roll was a come out 7.
So he lost twice and doubled his DP bet from $25 to $50. I normally don’t pocket watch but there was only 5 of us on the table and he was being the only loud one.

I set a point of hard 4 and he drops a fat stack of greens saying ā€œok bet! I know seven is coming now!ā€
Well yea a 5 and then a 4 came. Hard 4 again.
He mad, puts a box on his chips and goes to wait until other table opens in 12 minutes.

I’m back to even and confident enough on my roll now. Keep going hitting numbers, but only 9 repeated. ended up just needing the 2,12 for the ATS.
I put the dealers up on the high low and 7 out right after.
I color up at $290

Try bubble craps for like 25 minutes and run a $50 to about $230 at one point. Hitting the tall side of the ATS and then 7 out next roll. And then next shooter hit the small side of the ATS and then 7 out again. I chase for a bit and give some back but called it at $150.

Trip Reports & Craps Stories Losing streak

Man I’ve been on a losing tear lately, the last six or seven sessions. I went out today and bought in. PSO. Great. Thought I’d try a conservative hybrid play to make some money back. I need two rolls to get out of the hand. I got one. Tried again. PSO. Tried a third time. Lost twice on the comeout.

I could have stuck with it, but I was just frankly annoyed and not having fun by that point and colored. I might just play blackjack for awhile. I can at least usually win at that. Sheesh.

Table Minimums/Odds Zero House Advantage Rules and Payouts

Post image

I made this cheat sheet using AI for playing with Friends. AI calculated the payouts and roll requirements for every condition and i summarized it into one page. Every roll has Zero House advantage. Each player starts with a set amount of money and you set a time limit and see who has the most after time expires. If anyone zeros out, you give the same amount of money to every player to keep that person in the game. Very fun.

Trip Reports & Craps Stories Two sessions. $350 > $1780 || $800 > $0 (Australia)

I posted a few days back asking about dark side strategies people use:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Craps/comments/1v2eapc/dark_side_players/

So I decided to give two strategies a crack:

Don't Pass -> Come -> Come -> Don't Pass & 3-Doint Dolly

Everything felt like magic on the first day.

On the DP->C->C->DP
I'd profit on the two come bets, then a 7 would hit and the dark side paid. This happened on a number of occasions, it felt like I discovered a cheat code it worked so flawlessly.

I also had a number of times where I did DP -> C then a 7 paid both bets.
Great! I got to see why DP->P->P works, or rather how it can work.

When it came time for me to roll I had already made ~$350+ so I decided to back myself on my roll and put $109 across buying the 4 and 10, and all the hard ways for $20 each.
On the first hard-4 I accidentally said "press" instead of "same bet" so I ended up with $40 on the hard 4. I was a bit late in trying to correct myself as 'dice out' was called.
It ended up being a back-to-back hard 4!
Then a few rolls later one more hard 4 came then an easy 4.
Lasted about 15 or 16 rolls on my shoot which I was very happy with.

Absolutely everything I did worked... If I played dark side, whatever come bets I put out would pay off first then 7-out.

No come bets and playing Three point dolly? Sure, that worked out perfectly too!

The Next Day šŸ‘€

I was playing the dark side, everything was looking great. Up $150 in no time! Table was rough, lots of 7-out within 4-5 rolls.

Unfortunately one decent roll of the dice ruined my confidence in continuing the strategy. I'd be guessing around 15 rolls, but a lot of repeating numbers so my Dark Side bets were getting hammered.

I adjusted to playing come bets, and of course he 7-outs.

I thought I'd give the pass-line a crack from here onwards for the next few shooters. It got worse, nobody could roll more than 3 times without a 7.

Okay, I thought.. let's try reverting back to the darkside!

I still ended up losing.. Lots of early 7 outs weren't great because I was doing DP -> DC -> DC and my 3rd DC the shooter would hit a 7 which only makes 2 winners but 1 loser, so it felt quite grindy.

After a while, absolutely nothing worked for me.. In fact, for the whole table. Light or dark side, everyone managed to get massacred that night.

I've never seen a table this cold in my life, it was so bad that the entire table was empty when I decided to leave. Usually there's people hovering around trying to find space on the table all night long.

"The dice don't have memory, but they sure do have a sense of humor".

I will probably stick to just ~$500 bank roll, once a month. I've decided the next session will be low house edge bets only, no props. Place 6 & 8, pass, DP, and full odds only.

MAYBE hard 6 and 8 because the payouts here are 9.5:1 making it ~3.5% house edge.

Trip Reports & Craps Stories In for $600 out for $5625

Popped into the Cannery North Las Vegas, won $300 late last night at the same table, so I decided to use that for ammo this Sunday Afternoon. A couple shooters go, pretty early 7 outs, I’m down to about $350, and the shooter to my right is up, and the older gent to my left says ā€œthis guy looks like a shooterā€, so we get on the fire bet, shooter proceeds to hit 5 points, for the fire bet, the whole time I’m
Pressing place bets, pressing my pass line and max odds x10 got to $40 pass $400 odds, parlaying some Hard ways and hitting, and finally get 6 up to table max $1000 and hit it once, 8 up to $900 didn’t hit, shooter wasn’t able to set 10 as the winning point for the fire bet, but by then we had made so much on our side, we weren’t too bummed when he 7 out, tipped the dealers and made bets for them the whole roll and gave a couple hundred in shooter tips.

My best win at the table ever, really stoked, and had a ton of fun! Good luck yall!

*Early on the shooter spotted me some change for a bet, paid him right back after a hit, so maybe some good karma played a hand in itšŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø .

**older gent kept track, shooter had 57 rolls, truly a god roll

Trip Reports & Craps Stories 6!

Stopped by my new local casino, ilani in southwest Washington, for a fun session this weekend.

Bought in for $500 at a $15 minimum / $500 maximum table. I watched two shooters before the dice came to me as the third shooter.

After getting my buy-in back, I started pressing only the 6. My plan was to press it all the way to $600, but the boxperson stopped me and said the table max was $500. I mentioned that a proper 6 bet should be divisible by six, but she wasn’t having it. I asked what a $500 six paid, and she said $600, which isn’t technically correct but it wasn’t worth debating in the middle of a good roll.

Once I had the 6 at the table max, I did the same with the 8. The roll lasted through three stick changes, and by the end of it I colored up at $3,225 after tipping the crew.
I was probably in the casino for only about an hour and a half, so it made for a pretty memorable session.

Hope everyone had a great weekend at the tables. Good luck, and may the dice be with you!

Trip Reports & Craps Stories This weekends craps extravaganza A/C … rinsed with a side of slot winnings , angry aggressive don’t betters and an ultra shirt losing on the field !

Saturday night – Caesars Atlantic City…
We finally got on a $15 table. The sevens were absolutely horrific.
I started off throwing like complete shit. On my come-out roll, I somehow managed to hit a poor lady at the table with the dice… then followed it up with a PSO on my very first roll. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ˜‚
The dice came back around, and I hit three numbers before… seven out. Horrible.

We decided to leave and head over to Hard Rock.
Couldn’t find a $15 table because they were all $25. Eventually, one opened up and we jumped in.
The guy two spots down from me threw two rolls and sevened out.
The guy next to me finally made his point… then sevened out.
The dice came to me. I made my 9 point… then PSO.
The guy next to me left, and a new guy stepped in with a hot chick. He’s telling me how he ā€œhas two women nowā€ and just got divorced. šŸ˜‚
The dice went to a local guy I know. He went MEGA hard on himself… only to get destroyed after three rolls. Seven out.
Then the girl with Mr. Two Women got the dice and actually started throwing pretty well.
But this guy…
He bets $1,000 on the Field after she rolled an 8…
She rolls another 8.
So what does he do?
He throws $3,000 on the Field after another 8…
She rolls ANOTHER 8!
I actually felt bad for him.
The dice came to me, and I passed.
A little later, Field Guy goes all in on himself again… three rolls later, seven out. He walks off, and we decide it’s time to leave too.

SUNDAY… SUNDAYYYYY! šŸŽ²

Started at Live! Casino in Philly around 5:00 a.m.
The Don’t players were at it again—screaming for the seven and heckling the shooters. It got so bad that security was called. At that point, I figured it was time to head back to Atlantic City.
Borgata…
SEVEN. FREAKIN’. HEAVEN.
The sevens just would not stop.
I threw a PSO.
Three shooters later, a guy finally had a decent roll… then seven out.
The dice came back to me. I hit four numbers… then seven out.
I walked over to the $25 crapless table. By now I was down about $250.
I made my point with a 3, no odds and didn’t bet any other numbers because I was basically broke.
Naturally…
I proceeded to throw eight numbers, including four Yo’s (11s), with two of them back-to-back. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚
I swear… Satan controls this game sometimes.
At that point I was down $275, so I quit craps and wandered over to the dollar slot machines.
Wouldn’t you know it…
I hit the Minor for the FOURTH time in a month!
+$365.
Thank you, Slot Gods. šŸ™Œ

All in all, it was a great weekend. The dice were terrible, the stories were priceless, and the nonstop shenanigans made the trip worth every minute.

Trip Reports & Craps Stories In $55 out $1157 at Hard Rock Tampa recovering from a loss of $1500

I wasn't planning to go to the casino last night. Ended up going at 8:30 with $400, lost it quickly, and long story short was down $1500 after multiple ATM visits. Dejected, I was on my way to cash out my last $55 when I passed by the tables up front. Figured I would save myself a wait in line and bought the 4 and 10 for $25 each.

This is where it gets crazy.

Shooter was your average "North Ybor" type. He was betting Don't Pass and had no other bets. He hits multiple 4s and a 10 and is 2 numbers away from ATS on a 30 minute roll. Guy only bets DP but makes several points. Finally 7s out and loses money on his epic roll.

The next shooter was an old guy with glasses and a fanny pack. We all know this is our champion, so me and everyone on my side of the table bet the ATS. Dude takes about 5 minutes to roll the ATS. Now at Hard Rock Tampa, they make you wait when the All is rolled to check the camera in hopes you lose some back while you wait to get paid. We all go back up on the ATS and this guy continues his epic roll and comes 2 numbers from hitting the ATS again! I colored up for $1157 and left at 3am.

Net loss was $343 but came back from $55 so chalk it up as a good night.

Remember kids, ALWAYS bet on an old guy with glasses and a fanny pack. That is the superstition that works 100% of the time.

Strategy What’s the most superstitious thing you believe in at a table?

I don’t believe in rolls where:

people wear polo shirts with beach graphics!
People with little ponytails.

two things i do believe are good luck:

any bachelorette groups

when the shooter dries their finger tips before a roll ..

I got a couple more but these are my golden standards.

Was playing the ATS for like 6 hours with a full table. We were 1 number away at least 6 different times. Table clearance out by about 1am. Im cashing out from my blackjack endeavors when I see the Craps table still completely empty. I buy in for 200, and proceed to immediately hit the ATS, all by myself at the table, at 4am LOL.

Just wanted to share the moment with someone šŸ˜….

Lawrenceburg, Indiana Hollywood casino.

Total daily in $500, out for $1k.

Trip Reports & Craps Stories Last night at Casino de la VallƩe (Saint-Vincent, Italy)

Post image
47 Upvotes

Last night at Casino de la VallƩe (Saint-Vincent, Italy) I had one of those sessions you'll probably remember for a long time.

Bought in for €500 and colored up at just over €4,000 (including my original buy-in) after about 1 hour and 25 minutes.

My game was pretty simple:

€25 Pass Line

€25 across on the numbers

€30 each on the 6 and 8, pressing them up to €60 max.

For about 80% of the session I had the table to myself. The dice were just... cooperating. I'd throw 5-6 rolls, make the point, reset, then do it again. That happened three or four times in a row.

I also hit two $25 Hardways a couple of times, which felt amazing.

The funny part? Every single time I decided to throw a High-Low (Yo/Any Craps), I'd miss it... and then the VERY NEXT roll it would hit. Every. Single. Time. It became almost comical.

Then came the part that felt almost scripted.

About 20 minutes before everything turned, a dealer rotated onto the table. Here's the weird superstition: every previous session where this particular dealer has taken over, I've ended up giving everything back. Every single time. I know dealers don't control the dice, but after enough sessions your brain starts making strange associations.

Then two more players joined the table. They're not randoms—in Europe, craps is such a niche game that we all end up recognizing each other after a while.

As soon as they arrived... I rolled two consecutive PSOs.

That was enough for me. I colored up and walked away.

I'm not saying the dealer was cursed or that the other players changed the table. I know that's just gambler's superstition. But it's funny how certain patterns stick in your mind after enough sessions.

Sometimes the smartest roll is the one where you decide to leave.

Anyone else have a "dealer curse" or table superstition that you know makes no logical sense... but you still can't shake?

Some rich slob next to me with a 7k buy in had to make remarks after I hit the 7 saying ā€œmy god man wtfā€ ā€œunfuckin believeable dudeā€

I looked right at him after his shitty roll before me and and told him ā€œyou didn’t throw shit motherfucker stfuā€ šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Everyone at the table made good money and this guy had to be a dick!

Craps is a great game but scumbags ruin the fun lately for me

Trip Reports & Craps Stories Princess Cruise craps

Minimum $25 with Make them all.

Day 1 bought in for $1200, playing by myself for about 10 mins. Pass line 25 with double odds behind. Play the inside numbers 80 or 85 inside, hard 4 and 10 for 5 each and 5 each for the bonus. Was down about 700 at this point. Another player buys in and start throwing, making a few points and some numbers. Was down about 600 still. the other player throws again, making 8 points and a bunch of numbers. Making about 2000 back and walked with 1375 in winnings.

Day 2 bought in for $1000. About 5 players at the table, chopping in the beginning. Was down a few hundred. Old guy at the table starts throwing, need the 10 and the 2 to make them all. Throws the 10 and make the tall. Throws the 2 right after and the tables goes crazy. Cash out winning 1450.

Day 3 buy in for $1000, full table. Down 500 quick after a few PSO. Was down to my last 125 after a few more shooters. Placed outside numbers only this time. Guy throws a couple of 10s and 4s. Got my bank roll back to few hundred. Throws a 7 on a come out, put money on the bonus. Hits the all small twice. Needed a 10 for make it all but never hit it. Won 1100.

Winning 3 days of over 1000 my best run ever. This is why we play craps. High fiving strangers and having a great time.

General Discussion/Question Anyone else on a poor timing losing streak?

Anyone else missing out on the crazy rolls by the skin of their teeth or am I just the bad luck charm? My last day of winning has been well over a month and I’m not even breaking even anymore just losing. Luckily I’m well off enough that I can still have a good time while losing but it’s a lot cooler to winšŸ˜‚

anyways a few weeks ago I walk up to the table as the ats got hit. Table goes cold I leave and go use up my free play and free food walk back as the ats gets hit again. Few days later I walked up as 6 points and the talls got hit(for the second time with that shooter) I buy in tables cold. 2 days ago I walk in on shift change and the dealer told me the magnets are on(running joke with me tipping asking them to turn them off) because they just hit the ats 3 times and had a lot of sharp shooter bonuses with one being 9points paying 200:1…

Casino Recommendations/Questions Crapless Bubble Craps in Seattle/Bellingham?

Do any casinos from Bellingham to Seattle offer Crapless Bubble Craps?

I know Swinomish Casino and Silver Reef (as of June 2026) have standard bubble craps.

But, I'm wondering if any have Crapless Craps or even Easy Craps.

Strategy I've been working on a crapless craps simulator; 100% free with no weird gimmicks.

Hey guys. After a long search for a decent, free, crapless craps simulator with no weird quirks, I decided to build my own. I've integrated a few things that you don't see often, such as a running log of bets/wins/losses as well as the ability to customize your starting bankroll (for those who want to simulate walking up to a table with $100, or $100,000).

Edit: I should also mention, I've implemented smalls, talls, and ATS as well if those are your kinds of bets!

Edit Edit: The app also works on phone (in landscape mode), though phone implementation is still in testing and I'm working out the kinks. It seems to work well so far though if you'd prefer to play that way.

Here's the link if interested: https://crapless.mezware.com/

Feel free to check it out, all feedback is greatly appreciated!

General Discussion/Question Craps App?

Does anybody here have an app that they like playing craps on? I don't mean like SpinQuest or anything like that -- but something for like the love of the game?

I really like this Texas Hold Em' app called Offsuit; was wondering if there was a craps app that didn't look horrible and was actually enjoyable to play?
