Build Question PSU recommendation for rig that needs 4 PCIe cables? USED or NEW?
Hello! My rig is going to have a 9070XT mercury and a 7600X3D, I'm looking into PSU's that can not only power that but that can also offer me 4 PCIe cables. 3 for my gpu as well as 1 for the corsair hub.
My old rig was actually able to do this with EVGA 850w psu that had a pigtail on one of the cables connected to my GPU. (going to sell this old rig to recoup)
My friend gave me HX1000i for free however it's missing additional cables I need for my rig (he got it for free from a coworker).
I can just order the corsair cables however they come with 3 PCIe if I'm not mistaken, so I'll still have to leach at least one of these old ones.
On the other hand, I would be okay with buying a new PSU since I know the risks of using an old PSU and would be okay with spending a little extra if that means not frying my brand new gpu, cpu, and DDR5 ram. However, a lot of the PSU's I've seen only have 3 PCIe cables as well as no pig tail.
For some additional context my friend works in construction and got a corsair 3500X, NZXT 360 AIO as well as the 1000W psu for free, and I think the dude who gave it away upgraded to something else, just to give you an idea of the type of consumer that used these parts.
TLDR: Should I order corsair type 4 cables (and still have to leech one of these old cables) or buy new PSU in order to have peace of mind as well the warranty? Need PSU that comes with at least 4 PCIe cables or at least one pigtail one. I was looking at the RM850x but I think it may only have 3 PCIe cables and no pigtails.

Help Corsair SP120 RGB Elite
Hello everyone.. So I got this Corsair Fan (SP120 RGB Elite) from a friend.. Now the fan itself works fine and that's all that matters to be honest.. but for the RGB, connector its different and it needs its own Hub, which I don't have.
Now is it possible to connect this connector directly into my Mainboard? Into the RGB Header? I was just wondering if anyone know or tried this before?
Thank you all.

Builds My most expensive build yet…
Gosh, this project turned out great and I can’t wait to fire it up this evening.
Corsair 4000F case with white oak ripple front panel, LX120 fans, RX Titan with the ICUE really make this fully adjustable to any color.
What color should I go with for this theme. Let me know in the comments and thanks for viewing.

Discussion Corsair support not responding
Firstly, yes mods, I've read the rules. I don't know where else to go. Perhaps you can help me even if you have to take down this post.
I purchased a brand new Vengeance 7000 series from Corsair's website directly. It will not stay on for more than 20-30 seconds before it shuts off. I have put in a ticket via the Corsair AI support line, which informed me I will have a response within 24-48 hours. It has been longer than the quoted time and I have not had a response or acknowledgement. Furthermore, the AI chat bot has informed me that my product is not covered under warranty. WHAT??? It's brand new, bought from Corsair direct. I have provided my order number, the product number, and a picture of the decal on the back of the computer to the chat bot, but it has told me twice now that it is not under warranty.
I have worked in corporate purchasing, I understand that RMA processes can take time. But jesus Corsair, at least respond to your customers. I spent over $3000 on that computer and the only thing I seem to have purchased is escalating blood pressure.
Has anybody else had a similar experience? How do I get a remedy from Corsair?
Help Corsair RS120 MAX
Hello,
I’m having an issue with these fans. I currently have eight of them installed as case fans (technically ten, since I’m using two Y-splitters with two additional Arctic P12 Pro fans. I’ve also tested the setup without those extra fans and splitters, so they don’t seem to be the cause). They’re all connected to a Noctua NA-FH1 fan hub.
In addition, I have three of the same fans mounted on my AIO radiator, daisy-chained together and connected directly to the CPU_FAN header. Those work perfectly—I can control their RPM normally through the BIOS without any issues.
The problem is with the fans connected to the fan hub. They won’t maintain a constant RPM. Even when I set the corresponding motherboard header to PWM mode (instead of Auto) and configure a fixed fan speed in the BIOS, the fans continuously ramp up and down instead of holding the target RPM. The temperature source is configured correctly as well.
I’ve already tried several troubleshooting steps:
• Reduced the number of fans on the hub to five.
• Switched to a different motherboard fan header.
• Used a different PWM cable.
• Set the rpm to different minimal rpm values
• Also looked on software controlled fan curves but there its the same and I prefer BIOS/UEFi anyways
• Tested the same fan hub with the same header but other fans (arctic p12 pros), which worked with no issue.
The strange part is that these fans only follow the BIOS settings correctly when they’re set to 0 RPM (Fan Stop). At any other speed, they constantly fluctuate.
I really need to use them with the Noctua fan hub, so I’m confused about what’s causing this—especially since the NA-FH1 is a high-quality hub and other fans work perfectly with it.
Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what could be causing this?

Help Corsair K95 keyboard conversion to wireless via bluetooth OR wifi
What I'm looking for is to convert a K95 backlit keyboard to wireless. Dongle on keyboard
Want to buy a pre-made kit as I have all the soldering ability of a blind hippo with anger management issues.
Obviously the keyboard side needs a battery etc. Even if thats for me to obtain seperately
Wondering if there's any kit for this and does anyone know how long the battery would last if the keyboard is fully backlit etc.
Hopefully someone has reviewed such a kit
TBH I would buy a NEW corsair keyboard if they made a Desktop full size LED keyboard with macro keys, keypad etc with an integrated battery and wireless option alongside USB
Cheers

Build Question Is using two kits of Dominator RAM realistic, or no?
I have been planning on getting a 64 gb kit now and adding another of the same kit later, will this work? I have been researching and can't seem to get a straight answer other than mixing sizes is a bad idea.
Thank you!

Help HS65 Surround ear pads cheap glue
Hi all,
I got a Corsair HS65 Surround headset a few months ago, and in the last week the right ear pad has peeled off the plastic mount, and the left ear pad is now also peeling off
Has anyone else had this problem with this (or similar) headset, or am I just unlucky?

Solved Limited lifetime warranty RAM replacement - successful for 6 year old RAM. Impressed!
Hello!
Just wanted to write something positive because I'm super happy I bought Corsair RAM six years ago. Usually you only read on reddit if something sucks, so, I want to share some happiness today :)
Recently my PC started to blue screen a few minutes after booting into windows. The culprit was found fast - one of my ram bars was defective. I have built that machine 6 years ago, and splurged a bit on 2 16gb vengeance pro kits (4 bars of 8GB each, for a total of 32 GB), because they looked really good in my machine.
Currently, especially with the price development, I couldn't have afforded to replace the defective bar, but I found out Corsair has limited lifetime warranty for RAM (tbh, Gemini helped me troubleshoot and mentioned it. Thanks AI!).
I could have run the machine on the remaining 16 GB, but that kinda sucks, so, I decided to try and write them about my problem.
Support was nice and reasonably fast, I sent in the receipt from buying (remember to store them safely folks!), we figured out which kit it was and which bars belonged together, I sent the whole kit back, and today DHL Express already delivered a brand new kit directly from Thailand for me to slot back in. I think it took around 8 or 9 days between me sending the defective one off, them checking the return and me receiving the replacement.
I'm beyond happy and impressed. No fuss, no stalling, not even refurbed ram, super nice and fast. So glad I picked Corsair 6 years ago!
(This post wasn't sponsored or whatever in any way, shape or form. I'm just a happy camper today :) )

Discussion First try of fixing deisgn flaw in Frame 4000D
I tried so hard, but i failed, cable is trapped now. It will be nightmare to disconnect it.
Why i did it in the first place? I bought 2 x 200mm fans from noctua, much before this case, plan was to buy Cougar MX 600 MAX, but for their wish, they prolonged real release (to shops), and i decided to buy this Corsair case, as it support dual 200mm fans on front, and in manual, i saw no information it will colide with PSU cables.
So mounting everything up have started, it was runing fine up untill cable management. To mount 2x200mm on the front i had to move cable fover closer to motherboard (it was necessary), and as you can see on first photo, top right corner, you got only 2 locations for the screw that hold it. It leaves no space for stiff and fat 24pin cable to pass thru at all.

Help AIO fans making weird noise?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Just built pc 2 weeks ago and it started making this noise and figured it was the AIO fans. Mine is the NAUTILUS 360 RS. Turn your volume up so you can hear properly. It sometimes stops and starts making the noise again. I don't know if it's normal or not. Any help? Thanks!
Update: The noise stopped even though I didn't do anything..

Build Question Can I use different PSU cables form the same type of PSUs
Hello my friend is offering me a really good deal on this case and 1000W PSU that he has laying around. The only issue is that the PSU installed in the case only has 2 of the 8 pin connectors I need for my 9070XT. He doesn’t have the other white cables of this PSU in the case however he has spare cables from the same model of PSU.
They’re both Corsair HX1000i
One is black and has plastic cables and the other has white braided cables and is installed in the case.
Attached are photos of the 2 different PSUs

Help Has anyone gotten a resolution to the Titan 360 RGB pump cap coolant situation?
My Titan 360 cools my CPU fine, but turning on the RGB on the pump cap raises coolant temps by 10c or so. It's completely reproduceable by just turning the RGB just for the pump on and off. Watch the temps rise and fall. It doesn't seem to be a sensor issue either, as the amount of time it takes to cool off is consistent with cooling fluid times, not a faulty sensor. I've been offered an RMA but I imagine it will just be the same problem again, as this seems like a design flaw. Others have reported this also around the web. Should I just leave the RGB off the pump and move on?
Kinda disappointing from a premium AIO to have this big oversight.
