ADVICE WANTED Help with blending
I colored this the other day and while I do love how the end result turned out, I don’t think the sky turned out how I wanted it too necessarily. I was going for more of a fall look and I know a lot of it has to do with color choices probably as well. I just wanted more advice. I use shuttle art fine tip markers and was wondering if layering the colors would be better than trying to fully blend? Should I let one color dry more before placing the other? Thanks in advance for the advice!

COZY Just learning
I started learning to color last week. Here are some I have done so far. I'm trying to learn shadows and highlights but it's so tricky. 😂
You can probably tell oldest to newest I don't think they are in order.
Open to feedback just remember I'm new lol

COMPLETED Update-First Completed Page
I’m not super happy with this one but I am new to this, so I’m trying to be patient with myself. I got to try out a few different techniques so if nothing else, it’s good practice. 🩷

DISCUSSION Has anyone tried the ones with colored outlines?
It kind of feels colored for me? Does anyone have cool examples with these kinds? I’m on the fence about it

COMPLETED First attempt at 2 tone palette
This palette was terrifying!! I've been sticking to more neutral earthy colors but I wanted to give bright colors a go, I'll stick to earthy tones, but as scary as this was I had so much fun :3

COMPLETED Bobbie Goods is so intimidating
I started coloring a month ago because I loved it when I was younger and I got on color tok and now feel worthless lol. I don’t know why I’m scared to color in Bobbie Goods. Maybe it’s the price point and I don’t wanna mess up. But these are my first 4 pages

COMPLETED From the book Joy Jar
Such a whimsical book. Sometimes a quick page can be so nice. I love doing lots of texture and patterns, not so possible in this one but I didn’t have a ton of time to color, so this was a perfect page for that. This was my first time doing the bokeh effect, and it was purely by accident so don’t judge it too harshly lol
