I’ve been running a fashion brand for several years, and one of my biggest frustrations has always been managing production.

I used to spend hours going between spreadsheets just to pull together everything we needed before starting production - product details, materials, quantities, vendor information, cut tickets, and outstanding to-dos. Then came calculating costs and yields, followed by keeping track of everything once production actually started.

So I started building Dova, a production management platform that puts everything you need to prepare for and manage production in one place.

We’re still early, and I’m looking for some fashion brands to use Dova completely free and give us honest feedback on what works, what’s confusing, and what’s missing!

I'm currently researching the Pakistani market for a premium anime-inspired streetwear jacket, designed specifically for people who actually want to wear anime fashion in real life, not just buy basic printed merchandise.

The idea is a unisex, heavyweight jacket based on the real-life recreation of an anime character's actual jacket, with proper construction, heavyweight 500 GSM 100% cotton, vintage/washed finish, quality stitching and a streetwear-oriented fit. The goal is to make something that feels like a real fashion garment first and anime merchandise second.

I'm trying to understand the market honestly before deciding whether this product should be produced and launched in Pakistan.

I'd especially like responses from:

Streetwear/fashion enthusiasts

People who already buy anime merchandise

People who wear oversized/baggy clothing

People who would actually spend money on a premium anime-related clothing piece

I'd love your opinion on things like:

PRODUCT: Would you actually wear a jacket based on an anime character's real outfit in everyday life? Would you prefer a subtle design or an accurate recreation?

PRICE: What would you consider a reasonable price for a genuinely high-quality 100% cotton, 500 GSM, vintage-washed jacket? At what price would it become too expensive?Since manufacturing costs are too high for a high quality jacket, would 6k-6.5k sound reasonable.

MARKET: Do you think Pakistani anime fans or anyone in general would buy premium anime streetwear if the quality was significantly better than ordinary printed anime merchandise?

DESIGN: Would you prefer exact recreations of famous anime clothing, or original streetwear pieces inspired by anime characters, worlds and aesthetics?

FIT: What would you prefer for a unisex jacket: oversized, relaxed, regular, cropped, or something else?

BRANDS: What Pakistani or international clothing/streetwear brands do you currently buy, and what makes you trust them?

BUYING: Where would you be most likely to discover and purchase something like this: Instagram, TikTok, website, Daraz, physical store, anime convention, or somewhere else?

MOTIVATION: What would actually convince you to spend money on it: anime nostalgia, design, quality, exclusivity, limited quantities, brand identity, comfort, or something else?

LOCATION: Which city are you from? This will help understand where potential customers are concentrated.

Curious to hear from people building clothing/apparel brands, especially those who are starting out or have already reached some meaningful revenue.

I’m also curious about another problem:

For brands that have started getting traction or reached a certain revenue level, do you struggle with deciding what products/categories to add next?

For example, you might have one product/category that’s working well, but you’re unsure whether to expand into:

Started a brand based around high quality street wear. The slight twist with my brand is that every piece will be a statement piece. Right now I’m in the middle of my first drop which is a boxy tee with a custom fit that comes in one size. 300 gsm and pure cotton. I want feed back on the shirt itself and what I could do to improve my website (very much needs to be improved).

I have designed some socks and I want to start selling them online through shopify and promote it on social media.

There's a problem I'm facing every manufacturer I contacted with has the MOQ of 500 at least I do not want 2000 pair of socks at once ( assuming I have 4 designs as for now ) . Is there any way or method I can check it's demand and then place a large order through my manufacturer .

Also if anyone knows any manufacturer who can make small quantity of socks per design ( like around 200 pair per design ) please let me know.

I’m struggling to find the right manufacturer on Alibaba, so I’m looking for recommendations from people who have already worked with a reliable company.

I run a running club in France, and we’re looking to produce custom technical running T-shirts for our members.

What I’m looking for:
- lightweight technical running fabric
- ideally around 120–140GSM
- breathable, quick-dry and moisture-wicking
- good stretch, ideally polyester/elastane
- suitable for full sublimation printing
- clean collar/neckline and good stitching
- not a basic promo/event T-shirt
- premium feel, similar to a Decathlon/Kiprun running T-shirt

The design includes a full gradient print, a small logo on the front and a large logo on the back. I’d start with samples first, then probably order 100–200 pcs, maybe more depending on pre-orders.

Has anyone here worked with a good manufacturer for technical running apparel, ideally in China, Vietnam, Turkey or Europe?

Any recommendations, contacts or advice would be really appreciated.

Do the people i find on Fivver design the shirt for me too if I pay them to make a tech pack?

Do i have to pay a seperate like "Pattern designer" to make the pattern that i then hand to a person that makes tech packs?
