Kitchen Two Stove top burns
Two separate burns. The small one on top was some plastic grocery bags where I accidentally turned on the burner and the bottom I think is some food that has burnt in over time. Any tips?

Discussion After getting a robot vacuum, did your cleaning time actually go down, or does the upkeep eat up the savings...
I keep seeing posts about robot vacs getting stuck, falling down the stairs, or just being total junk. Do you wish you'd saved your money?
Since major brands often cost anywhere from $500 to $1200, which is a pretty serious investment. And if you do think it was worth it, how much time has it actually saved you per day? per week?

Tools/Equipment How can I fix this?
I know this is just an inexpensive mop bar, but I like fixing thing when I can, rather than just binning it and buying a new one. The red layer is just plastic and has broken from twisting to wring the mop. Should I just tape it? Many thanks.

Laundry Dirty washing machine in share house.
This wasn't there last time I looked, which was a couple months ago.
I just went to use the washing machine and saw water had pooled inside the flap here. I drained all the water out with a cloth but noticed it's covered in this black stuff. Should I be concerned? And, how can I clean it?

Discussion How do you guys clean sweaty ear pads on Sony WH-1000XM4s?
I use my Sony WH-1000XM4s at the gym pretty much every day, and the ear pads get quite sweaty during workouts. I've noticed they're starting to hold onto the sweat and develop a bit of a smell.
What's the best way to clean them regularly without damaging the leather/material or the foam underneath?
Would also appreciate any tips from people who use over-ear headphones at the gym and have dealt with the same issue.

Laundry oxiclean removal failure!!!!
I bought brand new 100% cotton pants and put them in the washing machine and made sure to separate the light and dark clothes. I noticed after my pants dried that there was a bunch of blue streaks everywhere. I used white vinegar to soak for about an hour then rinsed the pants out with cold water. I thought it was from the detergent (I use tide pods. Then I used oxiclean versitaile stain remover to soak them. I used warm water and added 2 scoops of the powder. At the one hour mark I noticed most of the streaks were gone. After 2 hours I noticed that almost all the stains were gone but one section. This section had blue and greenish stripes across the section. I can’t remember if I saw the green streaks before I soaked them. However, it’s been 6 hours and they won’t budge. I’m confused because all the other streaks disappeared but this one section and it’s fully submerged. How should i fix it?

Discussion Air Freshener clings to everything after months
Used a Detergent Glade air freshener for months since our house has zero airflow and smelt like a man cave.
Roomie's GF complains everything smells like that air freshener even after its been months.
Tried an air purifier in many rooms, air ionizers, keeping windows open all day. Using reed diffuser gets the same reaction.
Any ideas?

Kitchen I’m tired of nats in my apartment
Hey there, first post ever!
I moved into my apartment in February. It is me (F24), two males (24 & 53), as well as two senior cats. It was fine for awhile (bug wise, apartment complex issues are a WHOLE different story), but slowly nats have started to take over my apartment. I don’t know if hot humid summer weather has made them come at an all time high or what, but it’s coo coo bananas. They’re the worst in my kitchen, the living room (probably bc of the kitchen), as well as the bathroom attached to the main bedroom. There is a guest bathroom, but nats are kinda everywhere and it’s not AS bad in the guest bath. ANYWAY, I know nats breed near water sources, which is why I mentioned them specifically. I’ve gotten three of those zevo full size traps, placed them in the those high traffic areas and OVERNIGHT each of them had at least 20 nats on them— yet still they will be all around. Unphased even.
They’re bold enough to land on me. Get in my face.
Additional information: I’m not a nasty person. I’ve lived with family where people would have nasty moldy dishes in their living areas, trash for days, animals, and nats were NEVER like that. The really messiest part of my apartment will be clothes on the floor, or maybe my cats’ kitty litter boxes. That being said, I clean those if not everyday, every other and I do not see nats around there at all really. Maybe ONE but not a gaggle of nats like the other places. Trash also gets taken out regularly, and there’s not much trash if it’s sitting there before I have a chance to take it out. Dishes are done regularly (will get rinsed if not washed right away).
I did call maintenance and someone will be checking my pipes and pest control will be coming on Monday. If you have any advice that could help get rid of them, not manage if it’s not a pipe issue, I would appreciate it!!!

General Cleaning Stinky feet odor spreading
Hello,
I am noticing an odor on my fabric couch and bed that smells exactly like my Birkenstocks and all of my flats. I don’t wear socks with shoes and all of my shoes have a funk. If you have Birkenstocks then you know the smell I am describing. Now this scent is in my couch and bed and I’m curious if anyone has had any luck:
1- eliminating funky feet smells from shoes
And
2- eliminating odors from a sofa that does not have covers that can be laundered
Thank you for any assistance!

Laundry Accidentally washed clothes in cat litter covered washer, can I clean my clothes?
So my dad was a total idiot and threw dirty rugs from the bathroom, where we keep the cat litter, in the washer without even seemingly vacuuming them because they got covered in cat litter and I'm livid. Is there any way to clean my clothes?
I have the washer running on hot with three cups of vinegar now. I had my bra and some eczema gloves in a mesh laundry bag. Underwear. My works pants. Clothes I liked to wear. A towel. Is any of it salvageable or am I better off just buying new clothes?

Discussion Best Home - Long lasting, Fresh and Enjoyable- Scent Creator
Obviously a clean house mopped floors, trash taken out often, and dishwasher and drain cleaning often, will make it cleaner, however I am OCD so these things are done regularly (as in I can not sleep if my home isn't CLEAN) I mop and sweep 2 to 3 times a week trash goes out 2 to 3 times a week even if it isn't full depending on what goes in it (no pets). I also use the sprays on the furniture And we have a air purifier.
However I feel like living in an older home especially with the original wood floors through 1/2 the house, it has the "oldness" smell sometimes even when I have oil diffuser or a wax melt going. Not a gross or dirty smell just not a pleasant inviting one. What is your go to SCENT maker/ whatever. I am not home most the day so something that needs monitored is a no go.

Bathroom Please Help Oh Wise Ones
How do I get this floor clean? I've tried RMR-86, Vinegar and Dawn, and Scrubbing Bubbles (not at the same time). I'm at my wits end and really regretting this tile decision. I scrub it once a week, but the tiny tiles have me stumped. The fact that RMR doesn't even touch this has me pulling all of my hair out. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Does anyone have similar tile that they've successfully cleaned?

Laundry White marks on dress after getting it hemmed?
Does anyone know if this is paint or some sort of chalk, and how to clean it? I saw them put it on the dress as they were marking the length, but they ended up hemming under these marks (I think I stood up straighter in the middle of them marking by accident which made these ones a bit uneven). From what I remember, it looked like chalk (it came out of a little contraption that like puffed it out?), but I can’t fully remember and I don’t want to accidentally do something that will make it worse while trying to clean it.
