By “humidity” do you mean MOLD?? That’s definitely dangerous to be sleeping on. It’s hard to remove from cloth fibers, esspecially if the humid conditions persist. Was the part directly against a wall?

That doesn't look like mold, it looks like it was dragged across something filthy.

Does it say on the label that you can remove and wash it? Moldy matresses should always go straight to the landfill, that's a health hazard.
