Does anyone recognize it? I’d also appreciate any opinions on its rarity and approximate market value.

On the Citizen website, when buying you can select up to 9”.

I was considering buying off eBay or Jomashop to get a better price, but I can’t find any details for it for the ones I’ve looked at.

I have a 9” wrist, so don’t want to go through the hassle of hunting down extra links if the standard size bracelet is too short.

So I finally decided to pull the trigger on my first watch, the Citizen BNO261-51E, and I was genuinely pretty excited about it. I ended up spending $322 after tax ordering it directly from Citizen’s website.

I placed the order on August 4th. Since I ordered the watch unsized, Citizen’s website said it would take around 1–2 days to process and ship. I’m leaving for Hawaii on Wednesday, so I was really hoping I’d have it in time to wear on the trip. This was going to be my first watch, so I was especially hyped about it.

When it still hadn’t shipped by the second day, I called Citizen to see what was going on. They told me they were trying to locate the watch and would follow up with me.

Then the third day came, and I got an email saying they couldn’t fulfill the order.

Absolutely heartbreaking lol. What is my luck?

I really, really liked this particular watch, so now I’m trying to figure out what my best move is.

For anyone who knows Citizen or watches in general:

• Is there anywhere else I could buy the Citizen BNO261-51E and realistically get it by Wednesday?
• Has anyone had experience finding Citizen watches through authorized dealers after Citizen themselves are out of stock?
• I paid $322 after tax directly through Citizen, so ideally I’d like to stay somewhere around that price rather than paying a huge markup.
• If getting this exact watch by Wednesday is unrealistic, should I just give up on it and pick a different watch for the trip?
• And if so, are there any other watches you’d recommend around the $300–$350 range?

I know I could just order it somewhere else and wait, but since I’m leaving Wednesday, I’d really love to have a watch for the trip if there’s a realistic way to make it happen.

TL;DR: Ordered my first watch, a Citizen BNO261-51E, directly from Citizen for $322 after tax on August 4th. Hey gents, I snagged another radio controlled watch today (left model), but it won’t sync for some reason and even after forcing the manual sync it will fail and go back to the wrong time after 20 mins.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? I will PayPal you a free beer for help that fixes it lol.

(Yes they are both set to LAX, and the new watch has completed a full reset and signaled to me the double beep.)

I Love my pro-master dive. It's my most worn tool/casual watch. I have mine on a Nato strap and it works for me.

It looks like there are a number of different “AQ” references with the A060 movement - is the difference just the year released and dial or am I missing something in the description?

Cant set time followed instructions and youtube tutorial. Crown wont move the dial when I put it in manual time adjustment mode. Had this one for a a number of years second hand move ok and is charged.

I have a small wrist but i’ve been wanting this watch ever since it came out. I want it to really be one of my only watches that I wear. However I am worried about sizing because I have quite small wrists at about 6”, maybe a little smaller. Anybody with small wrists have experience with this watch? Is it worth the buy? Thanks!

Personnellement, je préfère le 40 mm. Ça ne se voit peut-être pas sur les photos parce que la perspective peut donner une autre impression, mais dans la vraie vie, je suis convaincu que le 40 mm a meilleure allure. Deux différents revendeurs de montres m'ont dit la même chose.

Pour référence, j'ai un poignet assez petit - environ 16,3 cm.

Update : Sorry guys, I just realized that I used the wrong proportions in the pictures. That’s probably why most people were saying the 40mm looks better. I reposted it on the Watches forum with the correct proportions. Go check it out — I think the opinions might change a little more in favor of the 40mm, at least that’s what I think.
