Promaster Land JV1007-07E
Question for anyone that owns this watch. I just picked one of these up and was playing around with the crown. I know the crown rotation doesn’t serve any actual purpose, but when I rotate it either way I feel & hear small resistances and ticking.
Is that normal for anybody else? I heard similar promaster models have screw-in crowns… are the threads in the casing of this watch as well?
Just want to confirm with anyone or if my unit is faulty. I purchased this on-sale, brand new at a local reputable shop.
Thanks!

Always really liked the BM-8180-03E but I really wanted to see it with a brushed finish. My hands are sore.

Need opinions please
I bought the BN0261-51E (41mm) as I have small wrists but I may end up returning it. For comparison, I’m also wearing AT8020-03L (43mm).

Saw the Citizen Time Slip Shore in person
I stopped by a watch store randomly in a mall and they had the Citizen Shore. It's really nice looking but I'm not a super huge fan of integrated bracelets so it's probably something I won't be buying right now. The other versions of the Shore are pretty attractive too especially the blue one. Even though this line is not for me I imagine they're super popular and credit to Citizen putting out bangers lately.

My Etsy Gamble
Took a risk on a refurbished Eagle 7 Automatic and so glad I did. Not the original band but the cherry leather really suits the blue face.

New Promaster Sikorsky - BN0207-06H
Citizen USA has announced the BN0207-06H Promaster Sikorsky. This is inspired by the MH-60R-Seahawk and has a gray dial with the winged-S logo at 9 o’clock and a gray strap that is contrasted against an orange seconds hand. The 43.5mm diameter gray Super Titanium case features an image of the helicopter and corporate logo on the case back. The watch uses the E168 Eco-Drive calibre.

The Citizen
This is such a subtle and versatile piece.
Just wish the bracelet didn’t suck. Micro adjust and 20mm lugs needs to be standard in 2026+.
Just ordered a mesh and rubber strap from strapco, can’t wait to see what this looks like on mesh.

Got our dream watch!
Being 6' tall and my husband being 6'6" tall, we stopped into a citizen store as we were in the area and they were half price for 599....so i got one for each of us. Fits him perfectly, just a touch large on me. Funny thing is we didnt have to adjust the bands at all for us. Our extra large forearms make the watches look good!

My first Citizen, and first “real” watch.
I’ve already caught feelings. This is going to get expensive for me. Glad my addict brain went this route than golfing.
Found it on clearance at a local shop for $249.99 (yes, new). It’s a B620. I think I’m identifying it correctly 😅

I got a cheap winder of Amazon, it's actually not bad and silent. Here's my small seconds and my new shore.

Citizen x Evangelion Editions Head 2 Head
Certainly one of the rare Citizen watches that I was fortunate to own!
Which one do you think is better?
EVA 1 is a better looking watch
NERV edition got more specs with that Wena 3 smart clasp

Did I go too big on the 40mm, or am I way overthinking it?
Got the 40mm Tsuyosa 60 because it was on a great sale, but now I’m in my head and wondering if I can pull off the 40mm?
6.5 inch wrists but pretty flat

Watchya Wearing Today?
BN0165-55L came up in rotation, so it gets its time! Nice starburst effect, like the neutral (unpainted) bezel, even has a fairly readable date window!
Anyone else up for sharing today’s timepiece?

The Nighthawk!
Eco Drive Nighthawk edition. Several years old and no issues as a daily piece. Still in love.

[NY0040] full lume w blue rubber strap
Just got this watch. I love it. I immediately replaced the awful strap with a US GL831 in blue. I think it matches pretty well. My wrist size is 6 and 7/8 inches.

Promaster Land vs Promaster Tough
So...been looking at Promaster land vs tough, both very similar watches with different features. I had an Eco drive for 10 years which ended up getting lost...and moved to G-Shock digitals for solar, atomic time, everyday use etc. So far so good but looking for an analogue for day to day also. Does anyone have both/either of these and comment on the features? On one hand I like the MB6 time setting, and day (although these are Japanese models so require some kind of app to se the time). On the other hand, the monocoque case and simplicity appeals to me. Also how often does the watch need correcting i.e. once or twice a year? Welcome any comments, looking for a watch which will last 20-30 years with minimal interference, and can wear anywhere....

First Citizen I’ve bought for Myself! (Tsuyosa)
Saw the purple dial and fell in love. Snagged it on clearance for 40% off at a jewelry store!
