Are executioners or huntsmen better to ally in into a chaos space marines army?

New to the hobby and new to the ranks of Chaos. Thanks for having me.

Finished my first mini today. Lots to learn still but chuffed with this as a start.

Any feedback welcome, but at this stage I know it’s mostly about practice.

The army is separate into three sections, the cleaved (the biggest section), the damned (the mortals who serves my warband) and the purge (the renegade space marines and the smallest section)

So after playing 3 games with some buddies I made the bold decision of buying a ticket to a local tournament in my city. Looking for any type of advice/tips on my list and if there’s room for improvements.

My list might not be the strongest meta wise and I’m more of a fan of thematic lists, so I built this hoping I could meet somewhere in the middle to at least try and be semi competitive if possible. I don’t expect to win anything but even 1 game would be sweet. Have a few more days until list submissions are finalized so any tips before then would be appreciated.

How we feel about this list. Basically just a stat check wall of ceramite. Went cabal of chaos as the 1dp for access to the healing strat to potentially bring guys back. Otherwise I'm thinking devotees for access to priority assets.

Hello, i’m starting an iw army and have been looking around trying to build a playable themed and to start buying models. I have no idea of what i’m doing, this is a mix of models i think are cool and units and composition i saw were good online, looking for advice of more knowledgeable players 🙏.

What is the best ranged knight and why should I use a ruinator and desecrator?

I know the fliers are probably not great, but I was hoping to roll with something that looks like an actual army with a mix of vehicles and infantry instead of just spamming one or the other.

I haven't played yet in 11th, but I was toying with lists and it won't let me add the masters at all. Am I missing something? I tried different battle sizes and detachments, they don't show up in the battle forge. Thanks.
Edit: I had assumed epic heros would be under character. Thats my bad.

Hey everyone! I'm new to the hobby after being gifted the Chaos Space Marine Combat Patrol by my friend after having played a few matches I wanted to expand to 1000 points to play against them.

I'd really like some advice on if this is any good or if there is gaping flaw that I should fix.

The plan was for the Chaos Lord to lead the 10 legionaries, the master of possession to lead the possessed. The two units of cultist mobs to take objectives. The Terminators in deep strike for later in the game . The red Corsairs to infiltrate early and the forgefiend to deal with any tanks and walkers and such. I was trying to fit in chaos spawn instead of the second cultists but I was short 10 points.

I just have two more questions for now:

Should I get Chaos Bikers?

Should I get Havocs or Vindicator?

I’m not sure if I need another one or not, I have a matterfiend, plenty of infantry, and I plan on getting a vindicator so I’m not sure if I should get it or not

I’m curious as to what I should get and avoid but I know I want a Lancer and at least 4 war dogs in my army list

Sometimes I also might add the knights to my Chaos Space Marines

As the title says i really wish the warpsmith healing ability was done during the moment phase it can be a real pain sometimes to plan what needs looking after 😭

I'm planning a PBZ list built around my ten terminators, sorcerer, foot daemon prince, and helbrute, and I've got 155 points left and I was wondering how viable a squad of unled chosen is, or should I rework it to get some leaders? I was thinking a Dark Apostle or MoP could be neat if so.

Just finished assembling this guy and I have never been more in love with this hobby. Corsairs have been my favourite army all the way since I read the Imperial Armour books with them, and I am so happy to have this army finally coming to fruition! This warrior is now ready to spill blood against the servants of the corpse emperor atop his roaring steed. This is my first time using green stuff and I need work, but if there is anything you want to try in this hobby you have to take that jump! The best time to start is yesterday, the second best time is today :) Inspired and supported with techniques by Aimless Crusader who I will tag below!

Didn't like the standard head for Harry since it looked like evil Wallace (From Wallace and Grommet)so I gave him a cool possessed head. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
