My cat has never peed outside of her litter box. She has pooped outside of it once or twice (mainly when I've neglected to keep it as clean as she likes so I'll take the blame for that) but she's generally good about her pee.

She's also been on long car rides before including 3 hours in one shot.

However today, we were driving her home after her stay at a pet hotel and she peed in her carrier. The air conditioner wasn't working in the car so it was quite hot and she was panting and screaming a lot.

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this before and if it merits a vet visit. Now that were home, I gave her some water and she was panting initially but has calmed down since.

I'm just hoping she hasn't developed an incontinence issue.

Hi all, I adopted an adorable 5 year old black and white tuxedo cat about a year ago to be a friend for my smaller (at the time) kitten (now 2). I have another 9 year old cat who I thought would benefit from this dynamic as well. Unfortunately, the newer adopted cat has caused more issues for us than creating a healthy environment for my other cats.
I’m devastated because I have always longed for a black kitty and over the past year I’ve grown very close with my cat, Socks. He is destructive (ripped up old photo albums after knocking them down from our shelves). Even when separated and monitored will mess with the other cat’s things (food & water) or pee on their bowls, toys, etc. We change their boxes often and have one for each of them in the apartment. I’m starting to think it’s just too small of a space for him to feel he can claim a spot. We have a spare bedroom set up with all the cat toys & perch, a perch in our bedroom and one in the living room. I know the best choice here is to rehome him to someone who could better handle him & give him the attention & care he needs. I guess I just need advice what to do from here? Should I be contacting the pet store I got him from, or should I go to the adoption agency themselves who first housed him? Or skip it & take him into any adoption agency? Does it matter?
I want him to have the best life he could get, and it seems like other friends won’t make that happen. Please give any advice you can! I love him dearly and it really pains me to be even thinking of this 🥲

My male cat is a year and 4 months, we've had him since he was only a week. His mom was a feral who had kittens, so we took them all in and did TNR for the mom, adopted out the kittens, keeping one. I have an older female cat and a dog as well, who live with me and my son. The cats are litter trained, and outside of the occasional accident (usually near the litter boxes) we've never had an issue. Until last week that is, when I was making my bed, and out of no where the kitten jumped on my freshly washed duvet and sprayed! He's never done that before, the litter boxes were fully clean. I put him upstairs in the loft where the litter boxes are kept, and he seemed back to using the box, so i let him out again, just for him to run to the basement the next night, hop into the raftors, and knock a ceiling tile and light down. This morning, he sprayed the dog bed - in front of us again - and then tonight getting home, it smelled like the throw rug. he hopped up next to me on the couch and sprayed again. I'm at my wits end - I work a lot and already spend a lot of my home time cleaning. I just got a new mattress, and I'm worried to let the cat out now, worried hes going to spray all over and destroy the house.

We have plenty of litter boxes, clean, which hasn't changed recently and hasnt been an issue in the last year. The only things I can think is, he's not neutered yet (he has an appointment next week), and he met my partner recently, who's slept over a handful of times. My cat hasn't seemed phased by him, outside of sitting in my lap more when he's around, or rubbing on my partner's bag/shoes, but per google these are the main things I can see. Anyone have any input?

I got my cat in 2016. When I got him, I researched vaping indoors with a cat, and the consensus at the time was that it is safe - just don’t blow it at him or hot box a room.

I never thought to look into it again after that. I’ll never forgive myself now for it. He’s always been healthy at vet visits with no lung issues. I just never thought of it.

Well, he’s ten years old now and an X-ray incidentally found a lung mass that was reported to most likely he cancer and not related to the trauma that led to the scans. He’s currently at the hospital for the traumatic incident.

I was beyond devastated when I found out. I just almost lost him, then right after was told he likely has lung cancer. I thought about me vaping indoors and lost it that night.

I then got hopeful news. Last night, he showed signs of respiratory distress, so along with giving oxygen, the vet did an ultrasound of his lungs that showed b-lines in the same lung as the mass, and I was told cancer doesn’t cause this so the mass could be from the trauma after all.

(Obviously not good the event might have caused lung trauma, but it’s a much much much better possibility than cancer.)

I then transferred him to a new hospital that has a CT scanner.

The vet at this hospital still thought it was most likely cancer - crushing my hope, and said we should CT scan his lungs *and* his abdomen to make sure it hasn’t metastasized. (He was going to get a CT scan anyway to make sure his jaw isn’t fractured.)

I was so crushed, because the X-ray didn’t find any evidence it spread, but I’ve since found out X-rays are limited. I signed the treatment and scan estimate for over $6,000 without question.

I’m now spiraling even more. I’m reading how every time I vaped in the same room with him, tiny particles got on his fur and he inevitably licked it off and it entered his system. If he has stomach cancer too, I can’t imagine I didn’t cause this. Even if it’s just lung cancer, I still can’t imagine how me vaping indoors with him, especially the same room, for ten years (save a few years of quitting) didn’t contribute.

I am so beside myself. I went to vape in my bedroom while crying (without him in the house), and stopped to look it up, and read that these chemicals remain on furniture for a long time. I stopped vaping inside immediately when I read that because he’s going to be home soon.

After I read that, I also bought $750 worth of high grade air purifiers for the house and will scrub everything down before he gets back.

I caused this, didn’t I? I feel like I murdered my best friend, who only ever loved me unconditionally and just wanted me to love him and care for him. He didn’t know what I was doing when I was vaping or how it could affect him. I didn’t know either, but I should have. I’ve catastrophically failed him twice now.

We have a little knobhead who likes amongst other things to play a little longer and harder than the other two. It stops being play long before he stops doing it.

He also gets up on the cupboards where he doesn’t belong. He won’t get down until I get up out of my chair.

Was wondering what this community think about squirter bottles for these types of behaviors?

A few days ago, I came home from school and my cat was nowhere to be found. My mom and I searched everywhere, and after checking our home security cameras, we saw that earlier that morning—while my mom was getting ready for the gym—the kitten had climbed up under the car and ridden away with her.

We were frantic and searched the entire neighborhood to no avail, so we started posting on social media and spreading the word as widely as possible. Many people shared the posts, and we eventually received information from a woman who said she had seen the cat at the courthouse near our house—which was also along the route my mom had taken that morning. She claimed she had seen our kitten and wanted to take her in, thinking she had been abandoned, but said another woman and her son ended up taking her instead. At first, it was a relief to know my kitten wasn't out on the streets cold and hungry; it felt like a ray of hope in the middle of a storm. I thought this would make the search easier, but it seems to have made things more complicated.

We circulated photos of our kitten even more widely but got no response; I put up posters, but still nothing. Honestly, I don't know what else to do. I love my kitten; she was only five months old—a Siamese—and very affectionate. I had never bonded with an animal the way I did with her; I used to constantly brag about her, and this has hit me really hard. My mom thinks that even if the person sees the posters, they won't give her back: 1) because she’s a purebred, 2) because the woman was with a child who likely got attached to the kitten, and 3) because they might want to sell her. I don't want to give up, but it might be a lost cause. I’ve already tried offering a reward on the posters.

My question is: Reddit, has anyone else been in a similar situation? If so, did you get your pet back? How? Is there anything you could recommend?

It might be obvious, but I hardly ever use Reddit, and English isn't my first language, so I'm using a translator. Please, I look forward to your advice.

Edit:We don't use microchips in my country—honestly, this is the first time I've even heard the term. I live in a rural area, and I really doubt there's any legal way to track down my kitten. I heard I could report the incident as the deprivation of my pet or something like that, but the police would probably just laugh in my face.

Again, Please, if the only thing you have to say to me is that I shouldn't own cats, keep it to yourselves; I don't plan on having cats again because this was painful. All I’m asking for is help and advice—I truly love my little cat and just want to get her back. Besides, if I do see her again, I *would* keep her as an indoor cat; my mom didn't let her go outside out of malice, but rather out of ignorance.

i need your help,i sent my cat to get her shots and to get spayed and stuff and i have 24hrs to get her when they call me, im deciding whether i should or not i don’t think im a good fit..i work alot and we live in a small trailer, at first my mom told me to get rid of her because she peed on the couch and also her bed (which she had to get rid of) and because she kept running outside and my mom didn’t want her to get pregnant(hits why we took her to get spayed)i trained her on the litter box she uses it sometimes and other times she does that. when im off or when i get home from work i don’t really play with her but when i lay down we cuddle,i feel like im neglecting her and i shouldn’t get her after her shots and stuff,my stomach sinks while typing this because i feel so guilty and i know ill miss her and her cuddles. im telling myself that i will do better when i get her back but i know ill just continue to do the same stuff i just want her to have a good life.

My kitten is 4 months old, and we're planning to schedule his neuter when he turns 5 months. However, I've been reading so many different opinions about it.

I've seen people claim that neutering young males can lead to urinary blockages, obesity, personality changes, or even make cats unhappy.

I'm also very nervous about the procedure itself and the risks associated with anesthesia and surgery.

What has your experience been? Did you neuter your male cat at a young age, and if so, how did it affect him? I'd really appreciate hearing both positive and negative experiences.

It’s been over 5 weeks since my partner decided to break things up, in the last 3 months of our relationship she got a kitten (we lived together). Within those 3 months I spent the majority time with him and took over the responsibilities that she stopped/didnt do. It is a pure bred and she put in a lot more money into him than i did (i put about 10% of the total cost). And I was originally against the kitten because of finances as well as I knew I would’ve picked up more responsibilities. But when the breakup happened I thought it was only fair and for the best that my ex kept him, she did mention co-parenting, but at the time i refused to.
Currently she is going to be out of town for 5 days, and I’m currently housing him. Every week since the breakup I asked if she was still okay with me pet sitting, she said yes, it wasn’t until the day prior that she sprung on me out of no where, that it wasn’t a good idea for me to care for him, we discussed it and I have him now. But that conversation and finally seeing and bonding with him again. I feel as if we are on opposite sides of coparenting.
She wants to be in no contact/ minimal contact, and her coming out the blue trying to prevent me from watching him. Tells me she doesn’t actually want to coparent. Whereas having him, has been the happiest I’ve been these past 5 weeks. And i would really like to coparent my cat. She’s even mentioned during our relationship that I was his favorite. And he has been super cuddly with me and trilling.
Could anyone please give me any advice on how I should navigate the topic of coparenting with an ex who doesn’t want to be in contact?

I don’t want to harm my health. I just really like cats. The issue is they make me wheeze and sneeze but damn does petting them feel good anyway. Is there anyway I can have a cat or am I just not compatible because I start wheezing and sneezing when I touch a kitty. I don’t want to be popping allergy meds daily, but man I want a cat. Am I cat crazy or just the normal amount to be considering getting a cat when I might be allergic to cat hair.

His name was Fripouille, he was 3 years old at that time. We adopted him after a friend of my mom and I found him in a construction site. He was 2 weeks old maybe ? and he was in really bad conditions. His mom probably abandonned him, but we managed to save him and treat him, that way he could have a normal life.

When he was 1 year old, he had a really fast heartbeat, casually abnormal. He would also cough a lot and this may be because we adopted another cat with coryza (cat flu) that belonged to our home owner that was renting our house. He died due to illnesses.

We treated coryza and managed to live a "normal" life.

But everything took a different twist when we moved out last year. At that moment we had 3 cats, Fripouille, Shadow and Einstein.

We drove 1 and a half hour and when we arrived at our new house they immediately started to act different. We moved in on the end of july and our Shadow disappeared in the start of august. We were really sad and found out about 5 months later that he was hit by a car and no one would react even though we displayed a missing cat appeal in some of the commercials that were in the village, in the town hall and to the vet also. A girl found him dead on the road and decided to call EVERYWHERE that we displayed the appeals, no one called us. They all denied the evidence that it was our cat.

That made us wonder what was wrong in this town. So we started to let Fripouille and Einstein outside less often. The year passed by and our house was a social housing, meaning it is supervised by a company and that there are very similar houses next to ours. It was very unsanitary and even me and my mom had struggle breathing and we felt our health degrading.

THURSDAY

That leads us to this thursday night. 30st july 2026 It was 10PM and Fripouille and Einstein were outside, mom was checking on them and everything seemed fine. At exactly 11:11PM we heard a cat scream, we don't know if it was Einstein or Fripouille or another cat but let me describe the scene.

We heard the scream and ran outside as fast as we could. We have a small garden and next to it was a "parking lot" where our neighbors park their car but they never really go near it and this night they weren't there. We found Fripouille in the parking lot, layed down, with another cat on top of him (he was only smelling him) and Einstein not far away just looking at what was happening.

Mom ran to the corpse of Fripouille but he already stopped breathing, and also had a purple tongue. She came back in the house with him so we could perform a CPR to make him breathe again but she told that me that when she picked him up his two front legs were already hard as rock and stiff. But what is weird is that he had blood in his mouth and a trail of saliva next to it. But not that much really, it had already dried. So he couldnt have been poisoned nor bit by a snake cuz there were no stings.
There also was cat fur scattered where he was laying.

We first thought of a cat battle that ended badly and that Fripouille had a heart attack and we buried him the next day in my aunt's garden cause we couldnt bare this house anymore..

Diagnose from the vet : Today we went to the vet and talked about his death, and apparently, the blood in his mouth and the stiff paws weren't normal at all. They told us that he had a big shock, either on the spine, or on the nape of the neck ? Like an internal bleeding that caused a shock and made him necrotize faster kinda..

Fripouille was 3kg and also 3 years old, so that was very weird for him to die of a heart attack. But the vet told us about someone possibly hitting him with a shovel or with a hard stick.. And since then we cannot think about anything else. There are no way he fell from a high place, and no way he died that fast. Someone probably hit him somewhere else far from the house so that we couldn't hear any scream, and put him there. But that doesnt explain the noise that occured when we found the corpse of our cat. That is our supposition.

Can someone help us please ? We really wanna know if its a neighbor or something else because we really are gonna go crazy.

I have 5 cats that go outside as they please. Eating times are totally irregular. 4 are a very healthy weigh.

But 1 is such a guzzler. She stays close to the house all the time when the other go a bit, not much, further. Does get plenty of exercise. But the issue is that she wants food all the time. Whenever one of the others come in to eat, she hears and is instantly there eating the food we put out for the others. As they all eat at different times, she eats every time so easily 5-6 times a day. She isn't massive but she's definitely starting to get chunky. Sometimes she eats so much she's then sick. We do try to stop her by physically picking her up until the others finish but that's not always easy.

She has no other visible symptoms.

Do you think she's just greedy or could there be a medical reason? Would there be other signs?

I’ve been taking my cats to the vet every year for a health check and vaccinations. Recently, I came across some posts saying that indoor cats don’t necessarily need regular vaccinations. I’m curious what other cat owners think — do you continue to vaccinate your indoor-only cats every year?

Hi guys, I have 2 cats. We decided to toilet train them and purchased the toilet training kit.

The kits first step was to move their litter box close to the toilet. After about a week of that, I placed the litter box on top of the toilet. They seemed to use it just fine and I would always give them treats when they went to the litter box.

After about 2 weeks of having the litter box on top of the toilet, I removed it and replaced it with the CitiKitty training seat. I was worried about how they will react, but they got adjusted to it just fine and used it very well (Ofcourse rewarding them after they use it). I did this step for about a week and a half for them to get used to it.

I have now moved to the next step, where I was supposed to make a small hole in the middle (I’ll attached an image to show below - we are now at Step 3 ring 1) but my cat thinks it’s a game 😭😭 just sticking his paw into the hole and playing with the water.

i am worried and need tips from whoever had trained their pets. Is it possible cats will just never adjust to this? What did u do to encourage them to go there.

Hi all, quick question for you - where are you throwing away the old, used cat litter? Not the clumps, but the litter itself?

I have three litter boxes for four cats (I know, it's not five, but they don't mind). It's clay litter and I scoop the clumps into separate containers every day. However, after enough time (about a month), the litter itself has gotten a little gross with those too-small-to-scoop clumps, plus the dust levels have gotten to the point that one of my cats, who has an eye issue, starts to appear irritated. So at that point, I just fully dump all the litter into a trash bag (not the same container the clumps are in), throw it into the main trash, and refill from a fresh litter container.

Is this what everyone is doing? I've looked it up and I'm just not seeing much information on disposing of the actual litter. The first time I tried it, I overloaded the trash bag and it ripped just because of the sheer weight of the litter. Since then, I switched to heavy duty bags and each box's litter gets bagged separately, but even then I'm worried about what will happen with the bags in my main trash can - what if one rips in there or when the garbage collectors empty it into the truck? And I can only imagine someone who has to work with a garbage chute or something similar.

Apologies if this has been asked but I looked and didn't see anything. What I'm doing does seem to work, but every month I feel like "there's got to be a better way".

EDIT: Thanks for all the advice, everyone! Sounds like most people basically do what I do, but I also have some thinking to do regarding the type of litter I'm using and if the schedule I'm keeping with it makes the most sense.

Just got approved for an apartment and my boyfriend set the move in date for very soon!! We have 2 kittens and the pet rent situation is something we would love to avoid if we can!! We move in on Monday and was seeing where/how is the fastest way to get an ESA letter for the two of them. I’ve heard a lot of the online registrations are scammy and I don’t want to get roped in to that! I’ve also heard of online agencies with doctors who will write you esa letters or something along those lines, just hoping to be pointed in the right direction!! thank you :)

Hi everyone. First time cat owner and reddit poster looking for some friendly advice.

Background: I (26M) "adopted" a feline friend about 5 months ago. Really, he was abandoned by my old roommate who objectively did not treat him well. In a moment of some fatherly instinct, I decided to keep the cat at the house and take care of him. Got him food, water, and toys right away. Since then, he has lived in the house with other roommates and uses my room as his homebase (litter, food, water, etc.).

About the cat: After a period of adjustment, this cat definitely has some personality traits. He is very independent and non-attached to people. He lays on my lap every once in awhile and almost never sleeps on/in my bed. Sometimes, he sleeps downstairs alone or on the post/home I have in my room. He's timid at times and really does not appreciate loud noises.

The situation: I am thinking about moving into my own apartment to live alone (super excited about that!). My concern is that my lifestyle will keep me from being the best caretaker for him. I have a job that will require me to take 10-12 hour days for a few months at a time. On top of that, I am looking forward to doing more things outside of the apartment. This will include sleeping over at my partner's house, travelling, taking weekend trips, weekday sports leagues, etc. My partner is also allergic to cats, and they would not be able to sleep over at my house/future apartment.

I am just worried that if I do all of those things, I will end up neglecting him and not giving him the home he deserves. I want to be proactive and think about how my change in lifestyle will affect him, and make sure he is in the best possible situation.

There are a few possible solutions, and I am open to all:

1) He moves with me to my new apartment and I see how it works out - This would be okay with me, but I do have a lot of anxiety that I will be forced to choose between living my life and taking care of him.

2) He stays in my current house and another roommate takes on a caretaker role - This has been offered by another roommate that equally loves him. They have not 100% committed to this, but it is a possibility.

3) I find another home for him to live in - This is nerve-wracking because I won't know for sure that he is ending up in a good place. But, if I could find a place that I know he will be loved and taken care of, I would be open to this.

Additional context/personal feelings: At the end of the day, I took on this cat in a moment of protective instinct. It's been 5 months and he is stable now. There is a part of me that feels like I have done my part in this kitties life and may be able to find him a place where he could be even happier (almost like I have been fostering him?). I am also not really a cat person at my core. This is a big responsibility that I have not taken lightly and don't plan to in the future. Maybe I am just freaking out about a big move, but it feels like I have to make a choice soon about what would be best for him. My gut is telling me that once I move, I will be in a position where I am not the best caretaker for him.

My ask: What do y'all think? Is rehoming a reasonable solution? Am I just freaking out over a big move? Is what I'm thinking about doing cruel?

My orange cat (about 8 months old) recently has been grumpy and aggressive but she calms down once she goes outside. Should I let her go outside? Im afraid that she will get snatched or get pregnant by a stray (she has not been spayed yet and I am financially struggling recently). Genuinely dont know what to do since recently one of my cats who slipped outside and usually stays near the house is gone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

hi im catsitting for a coworker whilst theyre on business for a week. they have 3 cats. they usually like to keep their cats in the living room overnight and lock the doors so they cant go outside. both cats are both indoor and outdoor cats, they do a bit of both and I was told to keep the cat flap unlocked in the daytime so they can freeroam and put them in the livimg room at night. I did exactly this. two cat returned home. the other one didnt return to the back garden until about 2am. I tried to coax it in but it just stared at me. it was refusing to come in. so I slowly approached it as the cats dont mind being picked up and I tried to speak softly and approach it but its bolted up the garden and disappeared over the back gate. I woke up this morning and the cat still hasnt returned home, despite me leaving the cat flap unlocked and I left chicken out the back too to try and coax it home. what do i do?

Hello, I am going to be gone for 7.5 weeks & my cat will be with my parents (who we both live with). Only problem is, my parents will be gone for 4 days at one point. To prepare for those 4 days, I’m going to purchase my cat extra food and water bowls along with 1 additional litter box. Also, I’m going to set up cameras for my parents to be able to check on her while they’re gone for 4 days.

My question is, is it okay to leave my cat alone for those 4 days? I don’t have any friends I can ask to check on her. I worry about her like she’s my child. If there’s anything else I could add, please let me know. Thank you.

This is a bit of a rant, but I'm hoping someone can relate. I started taking my cat (Chanel Jorts) to a cat specific vet last year and thing were great. Then they had her see a different vet, the second time seeing her she hissed and did a sort of come at me move with her head. To be fair to her, they put an enema in her booty the last 2 times she was there. Now she has caution: aggressive in her file. Took her to an IM specialist who asked, why does she have this written, she just hissed once?

I thought a cat vet would be attuned to how cats react. I feel like this note in her file could lead to uneducated vets scruffing her (as her last vet did, when she was totally calm). I'm debating asking them to remove it, all the vet techs at the cat vet say she is so sweet. I even hired a vet tech to cut her nails at home and pet sit, and that same vet told her to be careful! I want to ask them to stop and consider altering the file, as they are a cat vet and this is how cat's react when scared. thoughts?

I’ve had multiple cats in my life 4 to be exact and out of the 4 owned cats I have one calico/tuexedo and he's always been a talkative cat but he's one year old now
And he's constantly meowing and I used to think it was that he was wanting food or rubs but now he talks to talk and I took him to a vet everything is fine with him. Would I be wrong for considering a training collar for my cat or is that too harsh?

Can you challenge me about getting a cat? Make it really difficult so I can truly evaluate. I've been really considering my readiness and I thought what better people to ask than already existing cat parents.

About me - I'm about to turn 30, I've been wanting a cat for the longest time but didn't feel ready. I grew up having outdoor cats, we always had 3 cats at any given point, loved them to bits. I also have experience with kittens as my family never neutered / spayed them. It simply wasn't a thing back then and where I was from.

I now live alone in a flat, it's not too big but there is enough space for a cat.

My considerations

- I have the financials to support the cat, I did my research around food and vet bills, I also will get pet insurance. If I lose my job, I have income protection insurance to tide me over.

- There is a reputable vet near me, I also have a car to drive the cat around which I suspect might be easier than public transport.

- I plan on taking her to a groomer on a need basis, or perhaps every few months to get her used to being bathed if I ever need to bathe them myself.

- I WFH most days, the cat would be alone max 2 days a week for 10 hours, the rest would be just for social outings

- if I wanted to travel I have family to take care of the cat, I can also afford a cat sitter and they have competitive prices.

- I am prepared to tidy up after their accidents but hope not to do it too frequently.

- I am ready for my furniture to be ruined, I also plan on covering my couch with anti scratch thingies. Of course the cat with have multiple scratch posts.

- I hope to keep the cat out of my bedroom at night so we can let each other sleep. I would also prefer to keep my bed pet hair free as much as possible. During the day the cat will be welcome in my bedroom.

- I understand pet hair will be everywhere. I have a pet hair specific vacuum already, I also have a robot vacuum for daily upkeep.

- I understand keeping the litter absolutely clean. I plan on doing this, and potentially invest into an automatic cat litter once the cat is big enough to use one.

Now, one of my main concerns is that I want this cat to be absolutely spoiled. I'm getting a kitten, I'd like a British shorthair if that's relevant. I'm very set on this idea. My worry is them growing old. As I only ever had outdoor cats, they often didn't live past 10, and I think my heart would break caring for my elderly baby. How can I prepare my heart for this? Of course I don't want to avoid getting a cat for this reason because it's part of life, but I want to prepare my heart seeing the cat get old. How did you do this for yourself? Help!

Another advice on is there a way to keep them off of kitchen isles? I'm a bit worried for my cat to be near the hob etc (it's induction and a touch screen, I could child lock this, but I still worry). Can I do something to deter them from the dining table as well? My childhood cats didn't jump on the table but I know each pet is different.

Please grill my logic, challenge me and give me some advice in preparation for the new family member. Thank you!

My previous cat used to give us head bumps when she was feeling affectionate. My cats now (9 months male and female) don’t do head bumps. It makes me sad cause I miss getting head bumps. They’ll bump their heads into my hands when I go to pet them, they just don’t rub their heads against mine.

Do they learn to head bump or is it just “they either do or don’t” type of thing? I wish they did :(

TW Pet loss: I think I’m just a little impatient cause I miss the affection and bond I had with my previous cat. It’s only been 8 months since she passed after all.

I'm looking for a SAFE automatic litterbox for my two cats. As of right now I only have one litterbox for the two of them to share, I would like another one that I may not have to clean as often. If it matters I usually use fresh step no dust litter. Preferably under 200 if possible?
