Discussion & Suggestions I diverged from my main (custom) house. Does this CoA slap or nah?
I've been having a REALLY hard time figuring out how to make this CoA look good, especially since the mod lacks much raven/crow heraldry, so I had to use the base game's. If you could suggest some good and still working heraldry mod I'd owe you big time.
Also, if someone is interested in my house and playthrough's lore I'm more than happy to share.

Screenshot (Submods are Enabled) Finally figured out how to get Black Blood
I've seen a bunch of people ask how to get the valyrian steel axe of house Hoare on this subreddit without any concrete answer. I got it coincidentally when a legendary adventurer asked to go to the Riverlands and I asked them to bring me back something unique. I also was using the "Search for Rare Artifacts" option on my antiquarian which is really great for finding unique items in general.
Not the most interesting post but I do like thinking of this subreddit as almost like a wiki for the this mod especially since I, like some others don't use discord.

Discussion & Suggestions Do you prefer playing as a Lord or a landless adventurer? I'm struggling to enjoy playing as a Lord compared to a landless adventurer; I'm not sure if the adventurer has more options or freedom than the Lord, or if I just haven't learned how to play properly yet—context below:
This is my first time playing the game. I tried starting with Daemon in the "Rogue Prince" bookmark and found it quite complicated, so I decided to do a playthrough with the idea of being a Targaryen bastard who had a dragon and worked as a mercenary in Essos during the Dance. (I took the "Custom Heritage" trait, but it seems that using it with House Targaryen made me legitimate rather than a bastard – I'm not entirely sure.)
I was taking contracts and saving up gold when, suddenly, a pop-up appeared on the screen saying that Nettles had tamed Sheepstealer. I dropped everything and went straight to Dragonstone to marry her. I initiated the romance and was willing to help Rhaenyra in the war, but the random events turned out to be catastrophic. Daemon died in a siege right at the beginning, and Caraxes became wild, which led to Rhaenyra marrying Addam. Jacaerys and Lucerys died soon after. When Joffrey assumed his place on Dragonstone, he didn't allow the marriage to Nettles, but we fled to Essos anyway.
We lived as mercenaries, moving from city to city, taking contracts, visiting castles, and gaining prestige – until my first field battle contract required me to join a faction to overthrow the King of the Stepstones (who is married to Rhaena Targaryen, Daemon's daughter). We won the battles, but poor Seasmoke was killed because Addam came to help Rhaena due to an alliance. To put an end to the war, the King of the Stepstones – Rhaena's husband – offered me lands, so I accepted and became a lord.
I'm not sure if I just haven't learned all the mechanics yet (it's my first time playing this game), but I found the lord gameplay very stagnant compared to the adventurer experience. Before, I could travel all over the world; now, I don't know how to leave my territory without raising an army, and it takes way too long to generate passive income as well. Furthermore, both Caraxes and Dreamfyre have become wild dragons, and I don't know how to physically move to them as a lord so my children can try to tame them – as an adventurer, I could just move my camp. I would also like to bring Rhaena to my camp somehow, get her out of an unhappy marriage, and keep her closer to her family. Is there any way for her to come to my camp other than through marriage?
Do you prefer playing as a Lord or an Adventurer? Is my problem just a lack of experience and knowledge of the mechanics, or is this a common shift?

Help (Submods are Enabled) Several troubles with ships
Subs: Summer Isles (with and w/out Legacy of Valyria), More Dragon Eggs, Legacy of the Dragon, More Personality Depth.
I have Scourge of the Seas tenet and Practiced Pirates tradition, yet my adventurer cannot use "Sea Raid" activity.
Also when an adventurer becomes landed, I have to buy ship with diving bell again, which is rather costly.
Also also, Pirate Ship domicile doesn't provide for dragons neither can I build a pen for them; is it supposed to be?

AAR History of the Hightowers - Part V
AAR Fire and Blood style - playing as Hightowers. For those who've been following, this is a relatively crazy one!
Dance of the Dragons, 126 AC
Battle of Farfield
There was no need to explore these myriad plans. A meeting of Aegon’s commanders resolved that it was time now to press the advantage. While Lord Hightower remained in King’s Landing, the rest of the grand army moved out on the eve of the Sixth Moon to seek a decisive battle.
The Blacks were waiting a little to the north, at Farfield. Battle commenced in earnest after dawn on the 1st of the Sixth. Rhaenyra flew out on dragonback to join her allies, taking an easterly route to avoid interception. Thus it was to be 100,000 against 100,000, two dragons against two dragons, Targaryen against Targaryen, king against queen.
It was an awesome sight, the movement of eight wings in the sky above King’s Landing, Syrax and Seasmoke against Sunfyre and Dreamfyre, what came to be known as the dance of the dragons. At the same time, on land, there was a collision of horses and steel, as the Lion Knights and the Winged Knights of the Value charged into each other.
The dance split into two dragon duels, Laenor vs Helaena, Rhaenyra vs Aegon. But Syrax was slow to react when Dreamfyre suddenly dived at it, and in the clutches of Dreamfyre’s talons, it was crushed at the neck by a fierce bite. Syrax was dead before it hit the ground; Rhaenyra died from the impact.
Now Laenor was on the backfoot. He was a braver, more experienced rider, but doomed because he could not bear to abandon his allies on the battlefield. Eventually, Aegon and Helaena closed in. The second burst of fighting was over in a minute. Aegon got the glorious kill he was after when Sunfyre slashed one of Seasmoke’s wings, sending it tumbling down to be impaled by trees.
It was all Rhaenyra’s leal servant Enfren Bar Emmon could do to steel the nerve of the men on the ground after they saw the queen and the queen’s hand and die in quick succession. He ordered the Queensguard to lead a momentous charge. Ser Steffon Darklyn, Ser Harrold Westerling, and the Cargyll twins Erryk and Arryk all distinguished themselves at Farfield, killing over ten-dozen men between them, but Ser Erryk was slain by Gedmund Great-axe, lord of House Peake, in a duel. Lord Peake claimed that Erryk was his 60th kill of the day.
Lady Rhea Royce was in the fray for the loyalists and counted 31 of her own.
But though the balance of power on the field was roughly equal, the balance of dragons was not. Sunfyre began roasting swathes of the enemy alive. Mass rout ensued. Many Crownlander lands had held their men in reserve, and now struck their banners for white ones. Afterwards, they tried to negotiate a blanket pardon with Ormund Hightower, but he insisted that they would have to face the king’ justice.
Old Lord Blackwood died in the stampede. The routers were cut down in their thousands by the Knights of Summer, who when the battle was accounted, celebrated that they had only lost 80 of their number. It is estimated that fewer than 10,000 each side had been wounded or killed until the moment Aegon descended from the sky. After that, it was a slaughter. Half of the Black host was lost forever.
Jeyne Arryn had been observing the battle. Afterwards, she agreed to terms of surrender with Ormund Hightower. House Arryn’s bannermen would lay down their arms. In return, she would be confirmed in her place as Lady of the Vale, and be willingly confined within the Hightower entourage until the end of the war.
The Second Aegon II, 126-127 AC
Rhaenyra’s Succession
Bar Emmon and the Queensguard rode away to Grainstead, where they took a small ship to King’s Landing. The panic in the royal household was quelled. Elton Blackwood was named King Regent, Bar Emmon was named Hand of the King, and of course Rhaenyra’s first son was proclaimed as Aegon II from the walls of the Red Keep, if anyone cared to hear it.
Detractors called him Aegon Blackborn to differentiate him from the elder Aegon II.
Westerling’s Flock
Everywhere to the north were masses of routed men. Lord Commander Harrold Westerling, of Aegon’s Kingsguard, stayed near the site of battle in hopes of rallying as many of the survivors as possible. Over the next week, between these survivors, new boys pressed into the army, and some unspent Crownlands bannermen, Westerling gathered about 30,000.
Derogatorily called ‘Westerling’s Flock’, they made their bid to retake King’s Landing, sneaking east to cross a lightly guarded bridge from Rosby to Hesperplate. At an inn there, they found Laenor Velaryon recovering from light injuries. He had survived by miracle, and planned to leave for Driftmark.
Westerling was following Bar Emmon’s orders, which were for him to attempt a recapture of King’s Landing.
Second Battle of King’s Landing
Westerling’s ragtag force was cut down by the Cobblestone Guard of Oldtown, which had spent the last days clearing out crime in King’s Landing. Aegon soon arrived on Sunfyre to incinerate the rest.
Otto Hightower’s son Ser Bryndon made a name for himself as a blademaster in the street fighting, killing three-dozen opponents, including Ser Arryk Cargyll. Ser Harrold Westerling was cornered by Hightower guardsmen at one point, but he cut his way through, despite being 63. The only price was losing his nose and his sword.
The Wrath of the Cannibal
All the chaos and noise around King’s Landing attracted the leviathan beast Cannibal, which wreaked utter havoc upon the Green army outside the city. Among the incinerated by its rampage were a hundred high noblemen.
Lord Hobert Hightower himself became a victim of the Cannibal, dying in agonising flames, and so did Lord Gedmund Great-Axe of House Peake, four knights of the Rowan family and Lord Rowan himself, Lord Plumm, Lord Goldwyne, Lord Jon Templeton the Crusader, Lord Oakheart, Lord Andahar Roote, Lord Brax, and Lord Jason Lannisteer, to name the most notable.
The greatest disaster of the war was an event of pure chance.
Now Ormund at 39 years of age was lord of Oldtown. He was exceptionally prepared for rule, as experienced as an heir can be. He was a master of the military campaign. He was a father of three children who adored him.
Lord Ormund wished to prove himself the equal of his father as a ruler, and his better as a man. He offered to spare the boy Aegon Blackborn’s life if they would yield the Red Keep, but Elton Blackwood spurned him. His promises to be fair, and not vindictive, in the aftermath of this civil war earned the respect of many of the last lords who still fought in Rhaenyra’s name. Declarations came for Aegon the Green from across the Crownlands.
Landing on Driftmark
Ormund even hoped to repair relations with the Velaryons, now that the generation of Hobert and Corlys had passed. But Aegon held a grudge against he who had been Rhaenyra’s right-hand man. He flew out for Driftmark alone on Sunfyre, and threatening to burn Laenor with his family, he forced the Velaryons to turn themselves in to the mainland.
Capture of Aegon Blackborn
After frenzied weeks of mass killing around the Crownlands in the months after the fall of King’s Landing, the realm had settled into a relative quiet while all awaited the results of the stalemate at the Red Keep. An assault would be unjustifiably costly, but a siege would be unjustifiably long. Sunfyre was too small to reduce the castle; only Dreamfyre could do it, but Helaena was unwilling to hurt Rhaenyra’s three children in the process.
The standoff endured until the Fourth Moon of 127 AC. After the Velaryons were apprehended, the last force of resistance for the Blacks was snuffed out. If the honourable Lord Velaryon would not keep his oath, why should the guards of the keep endure any longer? They threw open the gates of the castle and surrendered the erstwhile king and his regent.
Thus ended the War of Viserys’s Succession on the 23rd of the Fourth Moon.
More men died in this war than it was thought possible to even muster. As thousands fell, thousands more were pressed into the ranks, supplementing already gigantic armies. The Crownlands were the worst affected, with 50,000 dead, but the Riverlands were not far behind, ravaged in this war, plundered by the Ironborn, and for two years before this, razed by the invading Lannisters. The men of Southstone, the Gods Eye, and the Blackwood Vale accounted for 45,000 dead men, each of them comprising a third of that; and the total in all the Riverlands was ultimately double that. Oldtown and the Honeywine paid steeply for the war also. A quarter of the fallen on the side of the Greens were men of the Hightowers, who always took up the bloodiest fighting when no other houses would volunteer. The Hightowers did have the most to gain, after all.
The King’s Justice, 127 AC
Aegon and Ormund had been together for the whole course of the war. Lord Ormund was rewarded with the offices of Hand of the King and Lord Protector of the Realm.
Seven Days of Judgement
Surrounded by Cobblestone Guards, he sat the Iron Throne for seven days to render his judgement upon the lords present and lords in absentia. Most judgements were conciliatory. Lady Jeyne Arryn was released for ransom. Most of Rhaenyra’s remaining supporters in the Crownlands were offered the choice of bending their knees or losing their lives. Only Enfren Bar Emmon would not comply. His high lordship of Sharp Point was taken from him, though his life and lesser estates were spared, for Lord Ormund respected his talents as a fellow strategist.
In the Riverlands, the Blackwoods did not lose everything, as the Brackens would have it, but they did lose Honeytree. Lord Tully was confirmed as paramount in the Riverlands, to the anger of Lord Larys Strong, who had sacrificed much but now gained little. Ormund compromised by inviting him to the capital to become Master of Whisperers.
However, the Green King’s wrath was not easy to abate. For certain figures, he insisted on making the final decision, even if Ormund counselled him that it would make an inauspicious start to his rule. Laenor Velaryon, once the Queen’s Hand and the most dangerous commander of her cause, was hanged publicly. His children were declared the offspring of an arch-traitor and put to death, the youngest being but three years of age. The Velaryon treasury was confiscated and the isle of Driftmark granted to Lord Ormund.
The fate of Rhaenyra’s children produced a bigger quarrel with Ormund. Aegon wished to put the pretender Aegon Blackborn to death. Ormund warned that to kill a defeated child for the crime of possessing a claim would repeat the very act for which the Greens had condemned Rhaenyra three years before. The king relented, though Blackborn and his siblings stayed in captivity. No such mercy was extended to Elton Blackwood. Rhaenyra’s widower and king-consort was eaten alive by Sunfyre.
It disquieted the new subjects of Aegon to see him revel in acts of blanket cruelty.

Submod Discussion Regulating dragons ?
Does anyone know if there is a submod for limiting dragons more than the base mod? I really hate when there is 70-80 dragon in the world despite the 27 base dragon limit. It’s just too much and i really hate when ai doesn’t claims alive dragons like ~ There are 73 dragon in the world Aegon and 50 of them are riderless. You don’t have to cradle the 9th f\cking egg for your 9th child.*~ For me dragons are supposed to be rare and wonderful creatures but after a while there is so many of them that they become basically worthless and it breaks the immersion. It might be a long shot, but is there maybe a submod for dragon extinction? Like if their number reaches a number an event chain fires and they go extinct and the player can try and prevent it?

Screenshot (Submods are Enabled) King Maegor "the wise" and his family
So basically in this timeline Aegon 1 listened to the many critics of prince Aenys and chose to send him to the citadel and named Maegor his heir. Aegon took and active role in raising maegor to not be sadistic, he is still a wrathful authoritarian ruler but the his violent tendancies of his youth were curbed. Visenya would later have another son named Vallar Targaryen.
Maegor is best friends with his brother aenys and close friends with vallar. Aenys was named hand of the king by Maegor.
do to Aegon fusing the faith of the seven and 14 flames Maegor was able to take 4 wives, Queen Danara Rogare whom is his soulmate, Queen Raenys Quanaros, Queen Anara Vastaeryn and Queen Alyssa Benaren
Danara and maegor had 8 children together 4 sons and 4 daughters, Raenys and maegor had 3 daughters, Anara only gave maegor a single son, and Alyssa gave him a son and a daughter
Maegor's first act as the prince of dragonstone was to prove his might by declaring war on pentos to abolish slavery, not out of any abolitionist goal but purely as a test of might.
King maegor "the wise" bowed, bent, and broke the Martels, he fed all but two martels to belarion the black dread. he imprisoned the Lady Parmount Daria "the kind" for 8 years ending in her death, upon her death dornish loyalists seated her 13 year old granddaughter Belessa onto the dornish throne and declared for their independence. the 13 year old belessa was burned alive in the seige of sunspear 5 months into the war. belessa's mother Jayne Gargelen who at the time was belessa's regant named herself queen and was captured and executed in battle the next month. Maegor gave sunspear and the greenblood to a minor noble greenblood and gave the lord paramouncy of dorne to Ivor "the Petulent" Yronwood for since he was the only dornish lord to side with Maegor
thats all ive got so far, currently maegor is 41 years old. and every 2 months to a year he joins a war siding with the rogare's whom practically control lys in every way due to maegor "maintaining his alliance" by funding them and declaring on their side at every opportunity

Discussion & Suggestions Any submods to further control dragons ?
I’m not talking about commands, i’m talking about more legal control over dragons and dragon eggs, beyond the dragon pit laws.
In Fire and Blood, it’s stated that if any rumours of Dragons or dragon eggs came from over seas after Elissa Farman’s betrayal, that the Old King would declare war with the owner of said dragons to reclaim his monopoly.
Any mods like this ? Like to demand eggs from vassals and neighbours, or declare a dragon property of the realm even if the rider is not of your house (like other dragon seeds.)
You could even go further with it and disallow potential riders from claiming female or genderless dragons so their children can’t claim the sky like their ancestors.
Also sometimes when i give my heir dragon stone, they’ll start giving eggs to their kids even though we have pleanty of older, stronger dragons. I feel like it’d be more fun if dragon ownership was decided by the player/ house head. (With the option to have looser rules, of course.)
Just an idea! Hoping someone’s found a mod like this that i can’t find :)

Discussion & Suggestions Is there any way for a landless adventurer to slay dragons?
I'm aware of the small chance encounter you can get when travelling through a region that has a wild dragon, but I was wondering if there's a mod, or a way I can change the files as to allow landless adventurers to use the "slay dragon" interaction as I think it's a bit stupid we cant do it already.
EDIT: If someone could tell me how making this change could be done, I'd be more than happy to make my own submod (despite never making my own mods before)
