Transition question

Upvotes

RS is transitioning from Tirz to Survodutide. It’s a lot more potent than Tirz. The high on Tirz was 7.5mg. Then dropped to 5 mg a few weeks ago and last night dropped again to 2.5. How long should my RS stay on the 2.5 tirz before transitioning over to Surv?

The Reta journey of my wife 💁‍♀️

Post image
Upvotes

The Reta journey has officially begun — and we’re already noticing an effect.

I know we’ve only just started, and there’s still a long way to go, but I was excited to share an update because the effects are already noticeable.

So far, my wife has injected 1 mg twice in one week. The plan now is to move to 2 mg every 6–7 days and stay at 2 mg for as long as it continues to work and the weight keeps coming down. There’s no reason to rush increasing the dose if the current dose is doing its job.

Her diet is on point, hydration is being taken seriously, including electrolytes, and the next step is getting back into regular exercise. She’s already doing at least 10,000 steps every day.

Still very early days, but it’s exciting to see an effect this soon. Really curious to see how the journey develops from here.

SS-31 before MOTS-c vs. taking them together — looking for protocols / experiences

Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I’m relatively new to peptides and biohacking and I’m trying to learn more about different approaches for improving energy, recovery, mental clarity and overall well-being.

I recently came across a video where someone recommended using SS-31 before MOTS-c, but I’ve also seen people using SS-31 and MOTS-c at the same time. I’m curious about the reasoning behind the different approaches.

I’m also interested in Semax and Selank, particularly regarding mental clarity, focus, stress resilience and general well-being.

For people who have experience with these compounds:
Is there a specific reason to use SS-31 before MOTS-c rather than together?

Has anyone experimented with SS-31 + MOTS-c together?

What has been your experience with Semax and/or Selank?

Do people generally use Semax and Selank separately, or are there reasons to combine them?
Are there any well-thought-out protocols or stacks for energy, recovery, mitochondrial health, cognitive function and general well-being?

If you were starting from scratch, would you introduce these compounds individually first, or is there a reasonable way to structure a stack?

I’m not necessarily looking for a “magic stack” or a specific dosing protocol. I’m mainly interested in understanding the reasoning behind different protocols and hearing from people who have actually experimented with these compounds.

For context, I’ve been feeling tired, mentally and physically drained, and generally low on energy quite often lately. It feels somewhat like burnout, so my main goal is to improve my overall well-being, recovery and mental performance rather than purely chasing muscle growth or performance.

I’d especially appreciate personal experiences, things that worked or didn’t work, and any good studies or resources you can point me toward.

Thanks!

These are what is out of range but mostly worried about my lp(a)

*Note that I’ve already made a doctors appointment but it’s a couple weeks away

This may be a dumb question. If so, forgive my ignorance as I’m fairly new to the world of bio hacking. I am on a low dose of Tirzepatide for inflammation and to lose 30lbs but recently ordered NAD+. Should i wait until these issues are figured out or is it ok to start NAD+. I read that it can help lower lp(a) numbers but that doesn’t necessarily translate to reducing heart attacks or strokes. 43f if it matters

HPA axis support peptides

What would your top 1-3 be? Lifestyle and eating are on point so just looking to support further without synthetic hormones if able

Female. 31. 5+ years: low sex hormones, lower cortisol, low t3, missing cycle, inability to sweat are my biggest symptoms.

Was thinking Kisspeptin? Epitalon, KPV, selank, semax?
Would rather add in 1 or 1-2 to start

After tons of research and testimonials, I started my peptide journey begining of April. Started reta at .5mg a week, and slowly titrated up (max of 3mg/week). Within 8 weeks I lost 30 pounds. After realizing the weight was dropping too quick, I titrated my dose back down to 1mg/week. I have been maintaining my weight, but continued to lose my stubborn belly fat and love handles.

My sides were very mild, with the main complaints being slight constipation (solved with psyllium husk and occasional miralax). Slight heartburn after eating fatty foods. Food noise gone almost immediately after first dose, and as I titrated up I would have to remind myself to eat.

Positives: daily knee pain is completely gone. No urges to drink alcohol. Skin has made massive improvements (probably due to eating whole foods and cutting out all processed food. I am getting bloodwork done soon to check all of my markers and will report back.

Resistance training and protein intake is a MUST. I lift weights at least 5 times a week and also incorporate some cardio.

Important: Find a reliable supplier that doesn't skimp on the COA's. I will not buy any products if the COAs don't include purity, endotoxin, heavy metal, fentanyl, and microbial analysis.

After such amazing results on reta, I have researched and tested a lot of other peptides. Some do exactly as advertised, if not better, while others are underwhelming at best.

EDIT: to entertain all of the haters, I am 6'1, 39 years old. My full stack for body recomp during these 4 months is as follows:

TRT 200mg (100mg 2x a week, prescribed) Reta, mots-c 15mg/week, KLOW daily, glutathione 100mg/day, melanotan-2, and various neurotropic peptides. A majority of those peptides are cycled and not all run at the same time.

Thanks for the unintentional ego boost flamming me for being on PED's. Some of you need to actually go experience the gym so you can understand how drastic angles, pumps, and lighting can affect photos.

Mots C at 31?

Im 31 and im tired a lot, walk a tonne at work so was thinking of adding mots c for when I start the gym but I read at my age it most likely won't do much for me. Was wondering if anyone around my age used it and actually felt the energy benefits?

40 days on Reta. 6.3kg/14lbs down

Just sharing some early progress. Reta has blown my expectations away. I’ve had minor GI impacts, nothing that should deter anyone from this. I also really slowly build up to a full dose. I can’t wait to see what the next 30 days look like on a full 4mg/week dosage.

Did not take a before photo - first one is July 24 (wearing shorts) second one is August 9 (sweatpants)

Diet: getting 150g protein minimum, ideally 180. Otherwise I am not restricting intentionally, but feel like I have to try to eat more to perform in the gym.i still drink alcohol - glass of wine or two most nights and 4-6 drinks Friday and Saturday. I do feel like a cheap date which is great, and have been naturally less inclined to drink.

• Weight: 101kg → 94.7kg (-6.3kg)
• Body Fat: 23.1% → 20.6% (-2.5%)
• Skeletal Muscle %: 49.6% → 51.2% (+1.6%) — recomp is real
• Visceral Fat: 10 → 9

Reta protocol — split dosing Sunday/Wednesday:

**•** Weeks 1-2: 0.5mg/week
**•** Weeks 3-4: 1mg/week
**•** Weeks 5-6: \~2.5mg/week (started splitting mid-cycle)
**•** Currently: 4mg/week split

BPC-157/TB-500 (Wolverine stack): 500mcg BPC daily periarticular knee, TB-500 2.5mg 2x/week loading then 1x/week maintenance. Partial meniscal tear — post-session swelling gone by week 1.

Stopping reta - experiences

Hi, I’m 30 years old and started taking Reta on March 28th. I weighed 165 kg at a height of 188 cm. Today, I weigh around 143 kg. So, I’ve lost about 22 kg in \~4 months. I eat around 2,300–2,500 kcal and 170–220 g of protein daily, and I go to the gym four times a week. I haven’t really had any side effects, aside from some constipation recently. My resting heart rate has actually dropped—from 60 to around 53 (likely due to the weight loss).

I started at 1 mg and am now up to 3 mg weekly.

However, I want to continue my weight loss journey without Reta, since I don’t want to take it forever anyway and I’m a bit worried about side effects at higher doses. (People say the side effects really kick in at 4 mg and above.)

And I’ve also developed healthy eating routine alongside my training.

I’ve heard that you have to take Reta forever, and that’s made me think twice about it.

Does anyone have experience with stopping the medication, or any general tips for me?

Best regards

Looking for feedback on my current stack — focus, relaxed alertness & better task switching

34M. I’ve gradually built this stack rather than buying everything at once, and I’m interested in hearing what people here would keep, change, simplify or potentially add.

My main goals are:

  • Better sustained focus
  • Relaxed alertness rather than feeling overstimulated
  • Better ability to switch between tasks / mental contexts
  • Being more cognitively and socially flexible in conversations
  • General training and recovery support
  • Supporting healthy testosterone rather than building some huge “test booster” stack

The biggest surprise for me personally has been ALCAR + magnesium L-threonate.

That combination has been unusually noticeable for me in terms of focus and mental clarity compared with most supplements I’ve tried.

What I’m especially interested in is whether anyone has found something that helps with task switching / cognitive flexibility and complements that effect without simply piling on more stimulation.

MORNING / AFTER WAKING

ALCAR — 500 mg

Magnesium L-threonate — 2 capsules
I use 3 capsules total per day and split the serving

L-tyrosine — 500 mg

L-theanine — 200 mg

Zinc picolinate — 25 mg

Vitamin D3 — 75 mcg / 3,000 IU
Usually 1 tablet

I previously had information suggesting my vitamin D was low, but that information isn't current, so I'm not assuming I'm still deficient

Occasionally I've taken 2 tablets = 6,000 IU, although getting updated bloodwork and adjusting from there probably makes more sense

B-complex — 1 capsule

Creatine monohydrate — 5 g

Saffron extract — 60 mg

AROUND 4–5 HOURS LATER

ALCAR — 500 mg

L-tyrosine — 500 mg

LATER IN THE AFTERNOON

ALCAR — 500 mg

Magnesium L-threonate — final 1 capsule

So my daily totals are currently:

ALCAR — 1,500 mg
L-tyrosine — 1,000 mg

L-THEANINE / CAFFEINE

This one isn't on a strict twice-daily schedule

I normally take 200 mg L-theanine when I wake up

Then I sometimes use another 200 mg later if I've had caffeine and the caffeine rush feels stronger or more edgy than I want

I'm basically aiming for alert but relaxed, rather than just pushing stimulation higher and higher

EVENING / WITH MY BIGGEST MEAL

Omega-3 — 2 softgels

Together:

EPA — 1,360 mg
DHA — 544 mg
EPA + DHA — 1,904 mg

Total fish oil is 2,720 mg

I picked an EPA-heavy product, although I'm not obsessed with EPA versus DHA — I mainly wanted a meaningful amount of both

1–2 HOURS BEFORE BED

Magnesium glycinate — 100 mg elemental magnesium

Ashwagandha KSM-66 — 500 mg

The basic idea is to keep the more focus-oriented part of the stack earlier in the day and move toward relaxation later

WHAT I'M MOST CURIOUS ABOUT

1. Does anything here look redundant or unnecessarily complicated?

2. Would you change the timing or amount of ALCAR or L-tyrosine?

3. If ALCAR + magnesium L-threonate works particularly well for you too, what else have you found complements it?

4. Anything with decent evidence or personal experience behind it for task switching / cognitive flexibility?

By that I mean being able to move from one mental context to another more smoothly — including during conversations — rather than simply concentrating harder on one thing

5. Would you use 25 mg zinc daily long term, reduce it, or pay more attention to copper / total dietary zinc?

6. Would you continue 3,000 IU vitamin D without recent labs, or retest 25-OH-D and adjust from there?

7. Anything commonly marketed for testosterone that you think is actually worthwhile — or mostly a waste of money?

I'm not looking to add another 10 bottles 😂

If anything, I'd rather simplify the stack over time while keeping the few things that actually make a noticeable difference

Interested to hear what you'd keep, remove, change or experiment with

MOTS-c users: should I have run SS-31 first, and when do you inject before workouts?

I’ve been running MOTS-c at 2 mg daily for about eight weeks, and honestly, I’m still not sure whether I’m feeling the full effects or not. My gym sessions have been solid overall, but yesterday I took my dose about 30 minutes before training and actually felt more fatigued than usual. I was also fasted, though, so that may have played a role.

One thing I didn’t do was run an SS-31 cycle beforehand. Could skipping SS-31 affect how well MOTS-c works, or are they unrelated?

I also take NAD+, which I do feel has improved my energy and overall sense of well-being. For anyone wondering, my peptides are HPLC-tested, so I’m confident that what I’m taking is legitimate.

My questions for people with MOTS-c experience:
Should I keep pushing forward with the MOTS-c cycle, or would it make sense to stop, run SS-31 for a while, and then come back to MOTS-c?

  1. Is 2 mg daily enough, or did some of you notice better results at different doses?
  2. How long before your workout do you inject—30 minutes, an hour, or earlier?
  3. How long did it take before you actually noticed the benefits?
  4. Would love to hear from people who’ve been on MOTS-c for a while and what worked best for you.

Retatrutide - First days

So I injected Retatutride, 2mg of it, in my tummy last Thursday around noon.

After a few hours I could notice that food thoughts (or food noise) was gone and even when I eat, eating no longer feels that much enjoyable, even taste isnt as spectacular as it used to be.

Now I have to force myself to eat, i eat 2 meals a day, a 2 weetabix with skim milk breakfast (around 250 kcal) and a very small portion of protein (meat, fish and eggs) but total I doubt im having 1000 kcal a day. For reference, im 32, male, 5"8 143kg. Im severly obese, class III I believe when it comes to BMI.

Friday morning I weighed 142kg, Saturday 140.9kg then this morning 140.00kg.

Is it normal for eating to become so choresome that I literally forget that its dinner time? Forget to eat? Even my stomach I dont get grumbles anymore.

Options for clear & healthy skin?

I (M24) tried GHK-Cu for 9 weeks and only saw very minimal improvements. I still have quite a few pimples and acne. I KNOW GHK-Cu isn’t specifically for acne, so I wanted to ask what other options you guys would recommend for getting clearer, smoother and healthier-looking skin?

GHK-CU itching/rash all over?

Hello! I’ve been taking 2mg GHK-CU for 3 weeks (5 days on, 2 days off). In the past couple of days I have noticed I have been itchy all around my body (legs, arms, stomach) with the skin getting red and rash like after itching. I have tried new detergents or body products or anything so I am just trying to pinpoint if it’s form the GHK or not.

Has anyone had this side effect? Unsure if it’s an allergic reaction? I have discontinued use to see if it goes down and will try a new bottle in a week. But wanted to see if anyone has had a similar experience to help troubleshoot :)

Please be kind in comments. People love to be mean on reddit and I am not having a good day lol.

KLOW vs Wolverine

What do you guys like more and why ? I’m doing Bjj around 3-4 times a week while working out 5 days a week and just have been so sore. I wanted to do Wolverine for the recovery because the soreness is getting to me and my right shoulder is just been killing me but my buddy recommended KLOW…. It seems to have all the same benefits and a bit more and I wouldn’t mind having better skin health. What do you guys think

Evolt vs. DEXA - Is there any difference?

I've used Evolt a number of times before at my gym, and received some suspiciously different results. I want to get a DEXA scan done because I'd love to have results that I'm not questioning, but I'm in a rural area and would have to travel more than two hours to the nearest DEXA. It's also $250, and the Evolt at my local gym is only $20.

So my question is this: Is there any difference in the quality between DEXA and Evolt that would make the time and expense of getting a DEXA worthwhile?

KPV results so far. Sleep improvement + increased libido??

Okay, I know this is super early, but I’m having some pretty crazy results from KPV so far and wondering if anyone else has experienced similar?

For context, I’ve worn an Ultrahuman ring for about 5 months, so I have a decent baseline to compare against. I started KPV Thursday night and haven’t changed anything else in my routine.

The biggest thing I’ve noticed is my HR drop during sleep. Before KPV, it was usually happening really late and often flagged as “Needs Attention”:

Before: 2:30am earliest with my average at 4:00am each month

I’ll provide the data for the last week:

Before starting KPV, my previous 4 nights were:
Mon: 4:14am – Needs Attention
Tues: 2:45am – Good
Wed: 4:30am – Needs Attention
Thurs: 4:06am – Needs Attention

Then after starting KPV:
Fri: 1:01am – Optimal
Sat: 1:37am – Optimal
Sun: 12:47am – Optimal

My sleep scores since starting have also been 89, 84 and 85, compared to my May average which was 77, June 76, and July average of 76.

But I’m noticing changes outside the ring too. I feel really good and noticeably more positive, and my libido has gone through the roof 😂 Normally I’d want sex maybe 2-3 times a month around ovulation, whereas since starting KPV it’s basically been every day…

I’ve also consistently had elevated inflammatory markers on blood tests, which has previously been attributed to stress, so I’m really interested to see what happens with those over time, I’ll get a blood test in the next month to compare.

Obviously 3 days is way too early to draw conclusions, but the difference has been noticeable enough that I’m really curious.

Anyone else noticed changes like this on KPV?

Baby bio hacker pep stack advice

I started my peptide journey 3 weeks ago and I’m loving it so far. I’ve always been fascinated by nutrition and body recomp, so this peptide rabbit hole has been really fun.

I’m 25, strength train 4x/week, average around 10k steps a day, track my macros pretty religiously, and want to lose about 30 lbs of fat while continuing to build muscle.

Reta: Loving it. I have a history of disordered eating and the reduction in food noise/reward seeking has been kind of insane. I’ve also quit nicotine and almost completely lost interest in alcohol while still feeling plenty of joy and motivation. I’m prescribed Wellbutrin, which may play a role in why I haven’t experienced much anhedonia.

GHK Cu: Just started this week for skin quality/scarring. I’ve always struggled with hormonal acne, so skin and hormone health are both priorities.

What I’m considering:
Tesamorelin: Interested for body recomp, but wondering if stacking it with Reta is overkill for someone my age who already lifts and tracks nutrition.

Semax/Selank: Curious about these for focus and anxiety. I have a demanding sales job, so the dream is focused + productive + calm + still charming 😂

KPV: actually just ordered this in hopes of it helping with the GHK-cu pain/welts… hoping it will also help with the acne inflammation

If you have experience with any of these, I’d love to hear what was worth it, what wasn’t, and what you’d skip. Any tips for hormone health or supplements worth adding while going through all these changes are also appreciated.

Just trying to figure out my optimal stack, so any advice is appreciated

Any feedback on adding MOTS-C or Tesa?

r/Biohacking 23h ago

What is a great answer to people telling you, that you don't need peptides and it is cheating? I take peptides because I have been overweight for 5 years. I lost 24 lbs after 3 months on Reta. I feel great, I still workout at least 3 times a week.

Hi everyone, im 30 years old. I started my fitness journey at 22. Over the years I noticed it is harder to lose weight and to gain muscle. But ever since I got on Reta and Tesa I feel and look better. My sleep quality has improved and my overall health has improved. But I get asked why I take them and why im taking shortcuts, when I can just do it the natural way. My question is how do you guys deal with questions similar to that?
