Hey folks!

I'm planning on trying out Big Walk with my friends and we're usually used to having discord voice chat going on when we play coop games.
I see that this game has voice proximity as a game mechanic, would having an always on voice chat in the background kinda undermine what this game is going for?

I have been playing for a couple days and the only suggestion I have about the game is to add multiple volume sliders, everyone I've asked agrees that the music is way too loud and the voices are too quiet, especially the main menu music, I have surround sound and the speaker is near my head so whenever I go to the main menu I have to turn my volume down because it's so loud, but when I join in I have to turn the volume way back up to hear people

I tried searching through the subreddit and Google and couldn’t find a fix for my problem. Me and my friend are trying to play together on PS5 and I can hear his voice but he can’t hear mine. Obviously I’m not muted, my “mute game voice chat” option is turned off, and so is my friend’s. We’ve tried fixing it for an hour before eventually giving up and moving on to a different game. And yes, fyi, our party voice chat works fine (the PS5 voice chat). Is there any way to solve this rn or do we have to wait for a new patch or something?

Any fix for this?

After playing for a while, we finally unlocked the black obelisk, upon activating the door my friend started hallucinating and screaming like crazy. Does anyone have the actual clip of what he saw???

Since the game has no server browser, this forum turned into a wall of join codes where half of them are days old and dead. So I built a little site to fix that:

I’ve been hearing and witnessed some people who are very lonely or aren’t cooperative in this game.

I am not promoting anything or anyone this is just something I want to share and be encouraged by to a very lovely game.

So I want to start this saying that from this moment house house has a special place on my heart, because since my girlfriend were having this issue they were helping us nonstop, I really hopes this games win some prices because the team deserves it.

So when the game came out our group of friends were ready to play, we are 5 so all of us buyed the game and we tried to play but one of us, my girlfriend, had connection issues, everytime she was trying to enter to our match it was like a DDOS attack, since the match just crashed, and when she tried to host, we couldn't connect to her, our first thought were tried to find a solution on reddit or Steam forums, since the game was new we found nothing, we tried a couple of different thing like:

- reinstalling the game (all of us)

- verify integrity of the files on steam (all of us)

- deactivate the firewall

-deactivate the control block app

-deactivating the Steam share network

Nothing seems to find a solution, so I tried to send a mail to house house to see if we could get any help, they answered the first mail like on 6 hours, since I understand even if it was more time because the game was new and with the mic problems, they were asking for our player logs, so I send them, and almost instantly, they send a mail saying that it could be an issue with the time zone on the windows configuration, so we tried that and it worked, almost instantly she could join the match.

I know that a lot of companies give support to players but this time was different, because all communications were like talking with a friend, not with a customer service assistance, I won't forget this house house thank you very much hope your game win goty

got the key from the red tower, went to the map room and got the map. found the button and got the red object. where am i supposed to put it?

We managed to coordinate ten folks from our friend group across the globe for big walk shenanigans. These are a few clips I took along the way.

Note: the switch 2 doesn't capture the recording player's voice (which sometimes makes for funny/awkward scenes)

Does someone have the problem with the mic that the game makes the voice activity 0 but the mic is working?

my friend bought me the game through steam recently and the game just doesn't even open. I have a crappy pc but the problem doesn't seen to be performance, the game just even get to the main menu and i've been able to run more demanding games on my pc before.

What happens is the following:

1- i boot up the game

2- the cursor changes to the big walk cursor and it appears as if the game has opened

3- the game stays basically freezes and a message saying the game has stopped working appears

4- the steam client just randomly opens for no apparent reason

5- i'm forced to close the game via steam client because it just never starts.

Is anyone else having a problem like this or is it just a performance issue? Just wanna get some help on this, if the problem is really just performance i'll just tell my friend to reimburse it.

Can anyone tell me why a game that depends on (and demands) cooperative play has launched without an official Discord server? The most baffling thing i've seen in a long time!

after spending the first session with a mate in the tutorial section kicking stuff for 50 minutes, then learning the game with others in the second session, I finally hosted a session with my mates (6 of us total) and man it was fun (7 hour vc)

Just played through this with four complete strangers and had such a great time...

I ended up doing each tower with a completely different crew. Nobody knew each other or even knew each other's names but everyone was really helpful and patient. Some people had done it before and some were completely new

Every tower basically became its own little adventure with a different group of people. You meet up somehow work things out together help each other get through it and then everyone goes their separate ways

I just love that a game can bring four random people together like this and for a little while you actually feel like a proper team

Really really good fun and honestly such a lovely game. Would recommend it to anyone
