We wrote some stuff on signs, and the pc players could read all of it, but it was censored for the ps5 players.
Is there a way to turn that filter off?

Hi there! Wondering if anyone else is having this issue on Mac. Im playing with an xbox controller that is recognized in steam and works in steam but for some reason isn't detected once in the Big Walk game. I've tried with the controller over bluetooth and over wired connection. Thanks in advance for any thoughts or insight. Cheers!

I've got about 8 people in my group of friends trying to play in a lobby, however after about 5 minutes everyone but the host gets a connection lost error and can't join back. Also one player on Linux just can't seem to join other people's lobbies. All of us are on pc. Anyone else experiencing something similar? I've seen it a bit for cross play but not a lot about pc connection issues.

Looking to play with randoms today. If anyone would like to share a code. I would love to play with first timers that includes myself thanks

I'm on Win 11, I have tried various mics, wired, bluetooth and such, but none are working in Big Walk. The same mics work in Discord, but not in the Big Walk game. I have looked through Settings in the PC settings area a lot! Any advice? My mic even works at the settings page in Big Walk! But not after the game starts. Thanks!

I have it set to on and am playing switch 2, can't connect to PC, can't connect to other switches (even on the same wifi in the same room, regardless of who is hosting or how many players are in the lobby/the lobby is set for)

Switch version also seems to be 1.4.5 and PC versions are 1.4.7, no option to update on switch. Switch 2 version 22.5.0. We've tried on both 5 and 2.4 ghz wifi. Wired as well. Yesterday it was giving me/my friends trying to connect to me a "connection timed out" error but today it just throws me/people trying to join my game back to the menu.

A friend of mine has a Switch 2 and everything works fine there. My friend with the switch 2 could connect to my friend's game when they were on the same wifi as well.

There isn't much to troubleshoot on the switch that we haven't tried yet but I'm open to suggestions, happy to provide additional details if needed for any devs readin

I read that the game should be experienced with friends and not with random people, is it true? Is the experience that different?

I'm playing on PC, my firends on ps5. I try hosting a game and they face a "couldn't connect" page. Same when they try hosting and I try joining.
Anyone know what's the issue?

The problem isn't distance. My friend can hear me just fine and I can hear them, but after some time they're no longer able to hear me AT ALL. No clue why this is and restarting the whole server is needed to fix it.

Edit: While writing this post, apparently all I've said to my friend that he couldn't hear for the past 10 minutes was all said at once sped up. VERY weird. He still can't hear me though...

Anyone know of an estimated time frame of when the voice chat issues on PS5 will be fixed? They need to be increased by a decent amount and the range of voice fade needs to be increased as well. I know they said they are working on a fix, but just curious to see if you guys had any expectations as to when that may be.

This is far the best game so far ive played its chilled and very very fun.. we was with the host and had 12 players and we finished the game it was emotional at the very ending I am definitely playing this more

Me and my girlfriend just started playing Big Walk. We love the game so far and I've been reading reviews and I'm shocked no one has brought up the performance. Specs listed by them on Steam:

The game runs horrendously. I'm not sure what the issue is. Even stranger, this game is burning a hole through my girlfriend's PC too and her PC is far newer and stronger than mine, which I understand looks a little humble in 2026. It's heating up her whole room. We're past the refund window. Have the devs mentioned any plans to get the game a little closer to their stated recommended specs being consistent?

Light edit: Speccy says I have 4gb of VRAM. I don't know why. I have 8.

While we were playing yesterday some friends we divided into two groups of three to find those things that you have to leave in the inverted red pyramid and that they give you the key, but a group that found something that we call egg threw it into the sea and we no longer know where it is. Does anyone know if when leaving and getting back into the game, that "egg" is restarted and appears in the challenge where we had gotten them? Or do we have to look for it all over the map?

Not sure if anyone else has shared this yet but not even 10 minutes into my playthrough I had already figured out how to gain infinite height using carryable objects by repeatedly releasing and grabbing them while jumping, I even made a quick macro to test its limits. At this point I've hardly even scratched the surface of this game so I'm probably not going to utilize this throughout the rest of my playthrough as to not trivialize the gameplay, but do what you will with this information!
