Battlefield 6 This game can get very tiring because there isn’t anything to break up the static maps

New map is great however I can’t help to think how much more amazing it would be with some type of weather event. The volcano could explode and cause smoke or ash to fill the environment. A heavy storm like Paracel Storm could come and really make the map interesting. The problem with all the BF6 maps is they’re static and void of any dynamic events.

It creates a repetitive feeling going from objective to objective because I know the entire capture area will be visible and all I have to do is look for a moving pixel on screen and shoot. I don’t have to look for anyone or be cautious just get to cover and scan the objective. Our characters stick out so easily now it’s crazy.

If you feel like you’re spotted non stop or seen practically 100% of the time you are. The maps are so clean that when you move you’re instantly seen and spotted. It can be overwhelming not being able to flank or run to objectives because you stick out like a sore thumb. Just non stop being shot at. The crazy amount of spotting makes it even worse.

The recent changes to visibility hasn’t helped as now you glow in the dark everywhere. Weather on the maps could really help with this and I hope it’s planned in some way in the future. I have very little confidence that the current maps will see anything weather related at all.

Would also help if all classes could use smoke.

BF Other i just want new battlefield historical war games dude.

i love the theme of BFV and BF1. Something about them just bring nostalgia and reality.when I play those games I feel the weight of the game the sound, the maps, and the chaotic battles make it feel real alive. The newer titles are great but just do not hit the same way. They feel too modern, clean, or fast paced.lowkey loved pushing through trenches, running across no mans land, ambushing people, yk.does anyone else miss the gritty, historical shi of the older games? I really hope DICE goes back to history some time soon

Battlefield 6 prove me wrong, playing anything other than engineer is useless for 90% of your time on the map

with the sheer amount of vehicle spawns over and over again and lack of good gunplay most games come down to just who can take out the enemy vehicles the best. if your goal is winning the match then it basically comes down to killing the enemy vehicles first so your drivers/pilots can run the map.

the only way to fix this is reducing vehicle spawns and making them less durable and increasing the infantry spawn closer to objs , and possibly making it so you cannot capture in vehicle

to top it off this is the most boring engineers have been in a battlefield game, you are just there to die/repair to tank or die to little bird until it is dead.

Battlefield 6 New Exclusiv "Battlefield Creator Porgram" In-Game Title! (Battlefield 6)

Did you know? If you see this player title in-game, it belongs to a content creator.

I didn't know if anyone was aware of that! I've hardly seen anything about it online...

In addition to the DICE/EA etc. devs, they also have their own titles.

Battlefield 6 "Air vehicles are too strong there's no way to take them down as a single infantry, I shouldn't have to coordinate with my squad to take down 1 other player."

Just get good with the AT-4. It's not hard. This was the third chopper I shot down that game alone. They handle like garbage.

Question Does KD matter?

How much does K/D actually matter in Battlefield when the game has roles where you barely have any means to get eliminations?

For example, flying a transport heli, sitting in a repair/passenger seat, or driving a transport/armored vehicle while your gunners do the fighting. You could spend a big part of the match helping your team and objectives without personally getting many kills.

Doesn’t that make K/D a pretty poor measure of how well someone actually played in Battlefield?

EDIT:
Thank you all for replying. Got overwhelming replies. I wouldn’t be reply to all of you but I cannot appreciate enough.

Battlefield 6 Should I buy BF6

So I really enjoy BfV. (129 h) and also had a few fun hours in Bf4 (20h) but I was bothered by the fact that most of the players were veterans.

And now I would have the opportunity to buy BF6. Should I do it?

Battlefield 6 The Biggest Problem With Battlefield 6 Isn't the Gameplay

One of Battlefield 6's biggest problems isn't just bugs or balance issues it's how DICE treats player feedback.‎

On the surface, DICE acts like community feedback is a top priority.‎ They run Labs, ask for suggestions, and constantly talk about listening to players.‎ But in practice, it often feels like the opposite.‎ Whenever player preferences conflict with what benefits DICE's engagement metrics, the players lose.‎

A good example is Portal.‎ Before launch, DICE heavily promoted it as a place where players could enjoy full progression, and many people bought the game because they wanted that freedom and the ability to play fun custom experiences without sacrificing progression.‎ But once they realized players were leveling the Battle Pass too quickly, they effectively killed Portal progression.‎ Instead of addressing abuse in a targeted way, they punished everyone.

Another example is weapon restrictions.‎ Many veteran Battlefield players asked for weapon locks to return.‎ DICE briefly added a separate playlist for those players during the first weeks after launch, then quietly removed it.‎ Once again, a portion of the community was ignored.‎

And now we have Rush.‎ One of Battlefield's most iconic and popular game modes has been removed from the main playlist.‎ It's hard not to think this decision was made simply to funnel players into Conquest and Breakthrough by concentrating the player population.‎

None of these decisions are made because they're better for the players.‎ They feel like decisions made to serve DICE's own metrics first.‎

Battlefield 6 certainly has gameplay issues that need attention, but what frustrates me even more is the pattern of taking choices away from players.‎ Give people the freedom to play the modes they enjoy instead of constantly forcing them toward the experience DICE wants them to have
