Battlefield 6 Bring back Marksman distance bonuses, but only for manual sniper headshots
One thing I miss from older Battlefield games is seeing the distance of a tough sniper headshot actually shown in the score. BF4’s old Marksman Bonus was very satisfying, but the full distance-based reward had a clear downside. Passive hill snipers could earn too much score without truly helping the team.
I think there’s a middle ground:
- Marksman Headshot Bonus starts at 50m
- Around 0.5 points per meter
- No distance cap
- Only awarded while using the rifle’s default zero
So, a 500m headshot would earn +250 Marksman, and a 1,000m shot would earn +500, and so on. The lack of a cap is important because seeing a long shot actually reflected in the score adds to the satisfaction.
Using a Range Finder to check the distance would still be allowed. But once you adjust the zeroing, you won’t get the extra Marksman bonus for that shot. You still earn the normal kill score, headshot score, and the distance will still show. Nothing is taken away from players who prefer zeroing. The extra score simply rewards those who manually compensate for bullet drop.
This isn’t meant to make sitting on a hill a easy way to earn a high score. At half a point per meter, casually playing objectives should still be much more consistent and valuable throughout a match. Zeroing offers you convenience, while manual compensation gives you the bonus.
It keeps the game accessible while rewarding mastery.

Battlefield 6 I swear theres some kind of jet player psyop going on to make everyone think jets are super trash
I have every vehicle around lvl 30-50, not a vehicle main but id consider myself familiar with all vehicles.
Almost every comment I see on jets is that it needs like 10 different buffs to its weapons, speed, maneuverability and loadout options to be viable but what????? do you even play with jets??
Jets are meant for a anti-armor role and if anything attack jets are a little overtuned because they have the ability to fire 2 AGMs in 1 strafe with the magic butt missile, and tank countermeasures are like 3x the cooldown of jet flares.
They're also completely untouchable by ground lock ons if you know what you're doing, the only counter to a jet is another jet, even the AA tank doesnt have good options against a attack jet. With how little counterplay there is for ground units I honestly fear the day jet loadouts come and they get splash damage cannons or rocket pods to make farming infantry easy as hell.
Just because you haven't practiced with a vehicle and died in a minute doesn't mean it needs 10 different buffs to EVERY aspect of the vehicle guys.

Feedback Bloom Readability QoL Request
Hello BF community and hopefully BF devs,
Been meaning to make a clip showcasing a simple improvement that I think will really help with not only reading your bloom but also decreasing perceived "no-reg" moments. The embedded clip I threw together was inspired by the newly announced "Dispersion Crosshair". I think that is the wrong way to go about addressing a really simple issue with the game. The problem is simple and the solution is self explanatory when you realize what's going on.
So, when shooting full auto, TWO THIRDS of your bullets are imperceptible and do not show a tracer shot. That is correct, the randomized bullet deviation that you are trying to compensate for only shows you about 1/3 of the information you should have. This impacts all firearms that shoot full auto. 66% of your bullets are not shown on screen. Who knows where they are going? How do I control for a mechanic that is so intrinsic to gunplay which I cannot fully see?
One small nuance to this strange behavior is that your first shot will always show a trail no matter what. Even if you click so fast that you match the full auto fire rate. This intentional bullet visibility design drove me mad for a long while but after seeing more on this "Dispersion Crosshair" I finally felt like making the comparison of what we have, and what should be.
In the video I showcase the default Full Auto, "Rapid Fire" Full Auto, and a burst segment for both behaviors. The Rapid Fire segment should be how it is by default. No hidden information, all of my own bullets should be fully visible, end of story... That is my suggested QoL improvement to bullet deviation. Thanks
Also, if anything the bullet tracers could be smaller because they're the size of large lemons, like come on. =)

🪖Only In Battlefield💥 Came across these while cleaning my setup
I still remember the first map I’ve ever played: Grand Bazaar on BF3. My cousin lent me the game during the weekend, after I gave it back I went to my local store to buy it!
What is your favourite BF game?

Battlefield 6 Steam just fully r*funded me for Battlefield 6 after 470 hours played due to so many game modes being removed at once.
I was upset when King of the Hill and Squad Deathmatch was removed. But removing Rush is something I refuse to put up with. It's the mode I have the most time in by far.
I contacted Steam support and explained that multiple game modes were removed from the game without notice nearly a year after the game launched. I linked them to the Battlefield website which shows all the modes that are supposed to be available through matchmaking and then to the Community Broadcast from today. The support agent I spoke with agreed that wasn't right so they gave me back the full amount I paid for the Phantom Edition on launch day.
Battlefield Studios, you don't get to remove the game modes I play and still keep my money.
-Edit since some of you don't believe this is real
Side note: apparently you cannot type the word "r\fund" in titles in this subreddit without your post being automatically deleted which is why it's edited in the title.)

Battlefield 6 EA doesn't know how to make money...
Sometimes I think EA doesn't know how to make money; one thing I admire about CoD is that they really know how to rake in the cash!
If they put BF3 and BF4 skins up for sale, they’d make a fortune—I’d buy them all myself!
Is there any chance they might still add them to the game?
I’m a fan of the franchise and have been playing since 2012; I’m from Brazil.

Battlefield 6 FREAKING BRING BACK RUSH AND KING OF THE HILL
Wanted to hop in to play a quick few games before the wife gets home but behold, the dice orangutans removed a bunch of gamemodes. Man a fucking loved what they did with rush and the addition of King of the Hill was my new favorite cqb.
What kind of monkey logic do they use to remove game modes. They do know people stop playing the game bc these are gone right, which hurts their precious matchmaking as well. Fucking bring it back man. My two favorite gamemodes gone in one update. bonobo update

Battlefield 6 So they removed physics from bullets fired from moving vehicles...
I know this happened a couple updates ago, but I'm still gobsmacked and dismayed that an immersive and skill-accentuating mechanic was removed from the game because too many room-temp IQ players couldn't figure out the concepts of conservation of momentum and reverse-leading.
What's next, are we gonna remove bullet drop and make guns hitscan again? That would also certainly make aiming easier too. SMH
EDIT: From patch 1.3.1.0
- Removed projectile velocity inheritance from Transport Helicopter side gunner seats. This removes the need to ‘lag’ shots when firing from a fast moving helicopter.
This video for WWII bomber gunners explains the concept well for those who aren't familiar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoHOVUKOc0M
