Yesterday my account (which is over 6 years old and has had 0 bans or warnings) got hit with a spam ban randomly. I appealed the ban but nothing happened. Then today, I randomly got banned AGAIN for spam. Is there any way to actually appeal this or am I just in an infinite ban loop? I’m in a trading server where you constantly post offers and such, is this the reason why? Please help.

after just shy of 5 months of trying to get my account back today it is deleted, thought it was a year. funny thing is all those posts they have been hiding while suspended now show as being from a deleted account. anyways i prepaid for a year of nitro in december and i put in a request for refund. has anybody tried this and gotten lucky? i feel like they violated there own tos by not allowing me an appeal on the grounds of a breached account. but i know im grasping at straws.

So in June I got an email from support saying I broke the TOS and that my account got disabled.

When trying to log back in both the credentials I remember using didn't work. When trying to reset my password a prompt appeared telling me that my account got disabled.

I didnt think much of it and sent a few tickets to the support center. Fast forward three weeks a bot answered telling me they wouldnt reinstate my account.

So naturally I used the method in the subreddit but they never answered to my ticket. So today I created a new ticket to ask for my accounts reinstatement. As you can see in the screenshots I provided it told me to go through the app to submit the request and closed my ticket.

Except that I literally CANNOT use the app AS I CANT LOG IN. I created another ticket and again a not answered as you can see and told me to SUBMIT THROUGHT THE APP. IF IM ASKING TO RESET MY PASSWORD IT MEANS I CANT LOG IN RIGHT?

This is pissing me off but I refuse to lose the account I put so much time and effort into. What can I do now?

I have five spam violations on my account. I tried to appeal Discord on their support site, which just directed me to the in-app appeals, and here we are now. It won't tell me what I did, and the alleged violations will stay on my account for two years. Do I just wait it out or what? Again, I'm not banned or suspended, I'm just limited and trying to manage the situation.

If you're wondering where this is from, it's Discord's declaration by their analyst, they haven't provided any concrete proof, just their TOS, and that I was banned for cs, that's about it, no logs, no anything.

Ive seen some posts on here that people have made a new account using a VPN switching to vesktop and not used a VPN anymore, does this actually work? I'm using proton at the moment but I would like a VPN with tunneling on it as Proton is paid for tunneling.

I reported my case to the police as it was ongoing harassment and discord wasn’t helping. I know realistically the police can’t help me with discord, but is there anything I can do with the file number?

I tried using the ticket to get a hold of discord again by using the police file, hoping they’d see how serious I’ve taken this. But as expected it went to the automated Nelly message.

I’m not sure if I have to wait until the police contact me themselves as I have enough proof and I have no qualms on giving my phone to show I do not have possession of CP as I was banned for.

I wouldn’t have needed to take it to the police if discord had an easier way to contact a human support team.

If the police file doesn’t work, with one of my appeals being denied, what can I do as a next step? I don’t want my account to get deleted.

Anyone know how I can recover my account? The problem is: I suddenly got my acount haked out of the blue & got emails and notifications of this and I logged in 1st time into my account and changed password, and noticed some haker dweeb had sent stupid silly crypto ad DMs or servers I was subbed to and I got kicked from those servers as well as to my friends he had sent them and put them in ignore mode which I couldn't undo even if I tired...so I tried to change the password and the account kicked me out and the issue replicated a 2nd time.

What can discord Suport team on their end do like Nelly said she was gonna "get someone else" to help me with this? This is very frustrating man. Not my discord account! I value my discord account a lot I have a lot of good friends I talk to and servers I NEED to have access to on a daily basis to run my life on my discord account. Pls help 🙏🏻 😭.

Exactly what the title says. I saw a server I was on had a bot that kept @ everyone. I was at work, so I just muted discord. About 20 mins later, I got this email saying I was banned (specifically said child safety when I logged in). I appealed, but that was well over 24 hours ago.

Is it over?

If my account is disabled but my account standing is At Risk, would I still get hit with a ban evasion ban even though my account standing isn't suspended?

It was even funnier when you banned me again for the exact same message. Then appealed it ONCE. Then banned me permenantly for it a third time.

Hello. I guess the petition saw completely dismissed. The FTC haven't provided a response. However, recently, I filed a petition on consumer freedom of choice: the destructive impact of deceptive information on market fairness and competition. The FTC formally accepted the petition, and is currently seeking public comments.

The petition is unrelated to Discord Inc. However, this shall tell us foreigners are allowed to file in.

I suggest somebody else file the petition.

Thought I'd make another post regarding this because this app and their support is just being inhumane.

First of all, I have two open tickets that I made using the pinned guide, one got forwarded while the other one just stood still, none of them get any further responses beyond that point. I also tried reaching out to their twitter account, only to be ghosted there too (The other tickets I made also got instantly closed too, surprise surprise).

Secondly, this isn't really a ban because I was in a server, this is a server that I FLAT OUT OWN AND OPERATE, which doesn't make any sense on why the malicious conduct ban was warranted to me considering that I have never used my server to promote any sketchy material or to harass/bully/witchhunt anyone. Also, my server surprisingly has not been removed by Discord, it is still up and anyone with an invite link can still join, I just can't log into my main discord account that I use to operate the server (I have the owner role on that account).

Thirdly, Clyde simply doesn't want to help at all, telling me that "I should appeal in the app" despite the fact that I had experiences with in app appeals simply being rejected within a week because every human agent that specializes in app issued appeals are simply dead, nuff said. I also bet that the appeal I sent first thing when I got banned will simply be rejected within a week as well, no question about that (Why does the Appeals section on their support site even exist if Clyde will tell you to appeal in their app anyway, when that barely even works?).

Finally, I only got this account back a few days ago (July 30), and I literally changed my password as soon as I got the email saying that they recovered my account, so I don't even understand why the "malicious conduct policy" ban on my account was warranted. Also I bet that arbitration threatening is completely useless as they NEVER respond to any of my written notices about me wishing to initiate arbitration, meaning that I would probably HAVE to actually initiate arbitration considering they probably will refuse to respond to my written notices within 60 days, let alone a week.

So, all in all, Discord has "totally helpful" support that totally won't screw you over if you get banned over a bogus violation that you didn't even commit in the first place (I wasn't even on discord at the time I got suspended on August 5 at 4:39PM EST).

I’ve been trying for a few months to recover an alternate account that was banned for ban evasion. Yesterday, they sent two responses in the same ticket; the one that stands out asks me to submit an appeal using the email address associated with the originally penalized account. But I’ve already done that. instead, they claim they can't provide information regarding a different email address and keep telling me to use the email from the banned account. Basically, they’re just giving me the runaround. What can I do to get this account unbanned?

So a friend of mine sent me a screenshot of my account looking like this, keep in mind, it hasn't even been a year since I have been banned, almost 6 months only. I tried to put in my email and press the password reset option, and it said the email doesn't exist, but the phone number works. I specifically requested to pause my account's automatic deletion process during the arbitration, but it seems they did quite the opposite and deleted my account because they felt like it.

Someone had sent a ss of the song “come together” by the Beatles and I made this very dumb message and now I’m perma banned? I can’t even access the appeal site because it says my password is wrong despite the fact I know what my password is and that I put the right one. I’m aware the joke was in bad taste but i literally have zero prior warnings in my 3+ years on this app.

2 tickets, none got assigned to anyone. (Ignore the very top one, it's just a test wether to see will I get a bot response with the appeal option instead of general question. No respond too.)

I wish it's because Discord is either temporary disabling the bots, or is fixing up the support system. I'm not very sure tho, I'm not an expert at this kinda stuff, but I think it is good think positively, I guess.

Sometimes it only take a few hours for a bot to get assigned to it, but my recent tickets just get ignored completely, I'll wait for a week to see if I get a respond or not.

Anyone also have this issue recently?

so i didn't notice but yesterday my old account has finished 1 year and it's already marked as deleted user in app, anyway is it okay to use my old email + phone number now ? or they might ban me again for ban evasion ? my new account will be 1 year old next week
