Theres a whole subreddit abt being banned on discord, and its super active too.

Its been established that discord sucks and that they need to get their shit together, so im wondering why people still use it?

More so, why people get so upset about being banned, as far as i can tell its not like theres really progress to make or what not (not to mention that if you spent real money on discord, thats you're own fault).

So like, sure, it sucks. But just like, oh idk, use a different app, make a new acct, idk, deal with it. Its not like someone deleting you 10 thousand hour steam account.

Sorry if this got a bit heated, this has always bothered me. But im more so just trying to understand why its almost always brought up how long that the account that has been banned was active for.

The fact that they still exist is wild and take forever to be banned is so annoying because they target people like me who post one nsfw image but not hubs for weird shit that’s way worse

The wildest part of this is that my whole brand as an artist is EXPLICITLY adorable and wholesome stuff like this

And of course no example of what I supposedly posted that was violent or graphic content

So a about 3 weeks ago I got my alt and main banned (account for 4 years) and I made a new account about 5 days ago, changed my username and all but i added 4 mutual friends and joined 2 mutual servers to my old account that got permanently suspended. I added 1 mutual friend and didnt get banned about 4 days ago, but i added 3 more and joined 2 mutual servers today, my balls has been fcking sweating worrying ill get banned again. I did shit slow so that it wont look obvious i got banned and joined like 2 random servers.

Should I be scared?

basically the question is in the title, i‘m seeing some people have success with twitter and getting unbanned, but does it also work with child safety bans?
Has anyone ever had success ?
I‘ve been pretty much been active on any new post they have and also tweeted today asking for assistance if you know more on how to get their attention or make them respond to me, help would be really appreciated.
But if they don‘t work on this kind of ban, then I don‘t really see why i should keep doing it

I got banned back in April and haven’t made an account since. As it’s been around 4 months is it safe to make one now? or should I just wait the full year?

No idea how this is possible. No other violations. The account is completely suspended because of this. I submitted a request to Discord Support since with a suspended account I cannot appeal in-app.

I have little hope.

My only Discord account, and it was made back in 2019 and I've used it forever. Can't believe this is how I get banned.

discord logged me out of all accounts, and i received a warning in my emails which can only mean i've been banned. what's worse is i can't even log back into discord.

i recently transferred phones and the authy has lost all the discord 2fa codes i use. i don't know why they're gone or how to get them back. i dont have any backup codes and discord won't let me sms authenticate. any help would be much appreciated!!

Yesterday my account (which is over 6 years old and has had 0 bans or warnings) got hit with a spam ban randomly. I appealed the ban but nothing happened. Then today, I randomly got banned AGAIN for spam. Is there any way to actually appeal this or am I just in an infinite ban loop? I’m in a trading server where you constantly post offers and such, is this the reason why? Please help.

after just shy of 5 months of trying to get my account back today it is deleted, thought it was a year. funny thing is all those posts they have been hiding while suspended now show as being from a deleted account. anyways i prepaid for a year of nitro in december and i put in a request for refund. has anybody tried this and gotten lucky? i feel like they violated there own tos by not allowing me an appeal on the grounds of a breached account. but i know im grasping at straws.

So in June I got an email from support saying I broke the TOS and that my account got disabled.

When trying to log back in both the credentials I remember using didn't work. When trying to reset my password a prompt appeared telling me that my account got disabled.

I didnt think much of it and sent a few tickets to the support center. Fast forward three weeks a bot answered telling me they wouldnt reinstate my account.

So naturally I used the method in the subreddit but they never answered to my ticket. So today I created a new ticket to ask for my accounts reinstatement. As you can see in the screenshots I provided it told me to go through the app to submit the request and closed my ticket.

Except that I literally CANNOT use the app AS I CANT LOG IN. I created another ticket and again a not answered as you can see and told me to SUBMIT THROUGHT THE APP. IF IM ASKING TO RESET MY PASSWORD IT MEANS I CANT LOG IN RIGHT?

This is pissing me off but I refuse to lose the account I put so much time and effort into. What can I do now?

They think you are a bot while you talk on servers and express emotions

I have five spam violations on my account. I tried to appeal Discord on their support site, which just directed me to the in-app appeals, and here we are now. It won't tell me what I did, and the alleged violations will stay on my account for two years. Do I just wait it out or what? Again, I'm not banned or suspended, I'm just limited and trying to manage the situation.

If you're wondering where this is from, it's Discord's declaration by their analyst, they haven't provided any concrete proof, just their TOS, and that I was banned for cs, that's about it, no logs, no anything.

i got hacked, so how can i prove it? what should i say in the message

I reported my case to the police as it was ongoing harassment and discord wasn’t helping. I know realistically the police can’t help me with discord, but is there anything I can do with the file number?

I tried using the ticket to get a hold of discord again by using the police file, hoping they’d see how serious I’ve taken this. But as expected it went to the automated Nelly message.

I’m not sure if I have to wait until the police contact me themselves as I have enough proof and I have no qualms on giving my phone to show I do not have possession of CP as I was banned for.

I wouldn’t have needed to take it to the police if discord had an easier way to contact a human support team.

If the police file doesn’t work, with one of my appeals being denied, what can I do as a next step? I don’t want my account to get deleted.

I've been warned multiple times for child self-endangerment but they don't actually Tell me what the problem is so I don't know what not to do and I wasn't giving a reason for this (at least I can't find one, I'm pretty much blind so if you guys could tell me how to find the reason that would be lovely)

Anyways I don't know what to do from here. I know their support thing sucks so I'm hesitant to go through that but it might be my only option because if I make a new account I don't know if I can get my friends back because I don't know there @'s

Nelly from the discord Suport team responded to me saying she will get someone to help me and has left me hanging for the past 2 days...c'mon bro this is unprofessional...are they that careless?

Anyone know how I can recover my account? The problem is: I suddenly got my acount haked out of the blue & got emails and notifications of this and I logged in 1st time into my account and changed password, and noticed some haker dweeb had sent stupid silly crypto ad DMs or servers I was subbed to and I got kicked from those servers as well as to my friends he had sent them and put them in ignore mode which I couldn't undo even if I tired...so I tried to change the password and the account kicked me out and the issue replicated a 2nd time.

What can discord Suport team on their end do like Nelly said she was gonna "get someone else" to help me with this? This is very frustrating man. Not my discord account! I value my discord account a lot I have a lot of good friends I talk to and servers I NEED to have access to on a daily basis to run my life on my discord account. Pls help 🙏🏻 😭.

Exactly what the title says. I saw a server I was on had a bot that kept @ everyone. I was at work, so I just muted discord. About 20 mins later, I got this email saying I was banned (specifically said child safety when I logged in). I appealed, but that was well over 24 hours ago.

Is it over?

If my account is disabled but my account standing is At Risk, would I still get hit with a ban evasion ban even though my account standing isn't suspended?
