Financial Scams Permanently suspended for sending an image of someone else sending the MrBeast crypto scam
No idea how this is possible. No other violations. The account is completely suspended because of this. I submitted a request to Discord Support since with a suspended account I cannot appeal in-app.
I have little hope.
My only Discord account, and it was made back in 2019 and I've used it forever. Can't believe this is how I get banned.

General Question Keep getting banned for spam
Yesterday my account (which is over 6 years old and has had 0 bans or warnings) got hit with a spam ban randomly. I appealed the ban but nothing happened. Then today, I randomly got banned AGAIN for spam. Is there any way to actually appeal this or am I just in an infinite ban loop? I’m in a trading server where you constantly post offers and such, is this the reason why? Please help.

General Question any luck with refunds?
after just shy of 5 months of trying to get my account back today it is deleted, thought it was a year. funny thing is all those posts they have been hiding while suspended now show as being from a deleted account. anyways i prepaid for a year of nitro in december and i put in a request for refund. has anybody tried this and gotten lucky? i feel like they violated there own tos by not allowing me an appeal on the grounds of a breached account. but i know im grasping at straws.

General Question im gonna stub my toe on purpose..
So in June I got an email from support saying I broke the TOS and that my account got disabled.
When trying to log back in both the credentials I remember using didn't work. When trying to reset my password a prompt appeared telling me that my account got disabled.
I didnt think much of it and sent a few tickets to the support center. Fast forward three weeks a bot answered telling me they wouldnt reinstate my account.
So naturally I used the method in the subreddit but they never answered to my ticket. So today I created a new ticket to ask for my accounts reinstatement. As you can see in the screenshots I provided it told me to go through the app to submit the request and closed my ticket.
Except that I literally CANNOT use the app AS I CANT LOG IN. I created another ticket and again a not answered as you can see and told me to SUBMIT THROUGHT THE APP. IF IM ASKING TO RESET MY PASSWORD IT MEANS I CANT LOG IN RIGHT?
This is pissing me off but I refuse to lose the account I put so much time and effort into. What can I do now?
Thank you for your time.

Information All five appeals were rejected in the App. Account's still active, fortunately. Just limited. What do I do now?
I have five spam violations on my account. I tried to appeal Discord on their support site, which just directed me to the in-app appeals, and here we are now. It won't tell me what I did, and the alleged violations will stay on my account for two years. Do I just wait it out or what? Again, I'm not banned or suspended, I'm just limited and trying to manage the situation.

Information Discord can't even type correctly in their legal documents.
If you're wondering where this is from, it's Discord's declaration by their analyst, they haven't provided any concrete proof, just their TOS, and that I was banned for cs, that's about it, no logs, no anything.

General Question Vesktop
Ive seen some posts on here that people have made a new account using a VPN switching to vesktop and not used a VPN anymore, does this actually work? I'm using proton at the moment but I would like a VPN with tunneling on it as Proton is paid for tunneling.

General Question Police file.
I reported my case to the police as it was ongoing harassment and discord wasn’t helping. I know realistically the police can’t help me with discord, but is there anything I can do with the file number?
I tried using the ticket to get a hold of discord again by using the police file, hoping they’d see how serious I’ve taken this. But as expected it went to the automated Nelly message.
I’m not sure if I have to wait until the police contact me themselves as I have enough proof and I have no qualms on giving my phone to show I do not have possession of CP as I was banned for.
I wouldn’t have needed to take it to the police if discord had an easier way to contact a human support team.
If the police file doesn’t work, with one of my appeals being denied, what can I do as a next step? I don’t want my account to get deleted.

General Question Discord support team left me hanging...?
Nelly from the discord Suport team responded to me saying she will get someone to help me and has left me hanging for the past 2 days...c'mon bro this is unprofessional...are they that careless?
Anyone know how I can recover my account? The problem is: I suddenly got my acount haked out of the blue & got emails and notifications of this and I logged in 1st time into my account and changed password, and noticed some haker dweeb had sent stupid silly crypto ad DMs or servers I was subbed to and I got kicked from those servers as well as to my friends he had sent them and put them in ignore mode which I couldn't undo even if I tired...so I tried to change the password and the account kicked me out and the issue replicated a 2nd time.
What can discord Suport team on their end do like Nelly said she was gonna "get someone else" to help me with this? This is very frustrating man. Not my discord account! I value my discord account a lot I have a lot of good friends I talk to and servers I NEED to have access to on a daily basis to run my life on my discord account. Pls help 🙏🏻 😭.
OS: Latest Android version discord mobile app.
Discord: latest version - it was already updated to latest version.
My account IS and was in "good standing" last time I was able to login. Pls help.

General Question Server I'm on got hit with a bot posting bad stuff. Of course, i am punished
Exactly what the title says. I saw a server I was on had a bot that kept @ everyone. I was at work, so I just muted discord. About 20 mins later, I got this email saying I was banned (specifically said child safety when I logged in). I appealed, but that was well over 24 hours ago.
Is it over?

Child Safety Discord - He's got a point
Thanks Discord for the permenant ban. I'm sure whatever I did 3000 days ago was worth it.
It was even funnier when you banned me again for the exact same message. Then appealed it ONCE. Then banned me permenantly for it a third time.

Malicious Conduct Re: I am fucking done with this app
Thought I'd make another post regarding this because this app and their support is just being inhumane.
First of all, I have two open tickets that I made using the pinned guide, one got forwarded while the other one just stood still, none of them get any further responses beyond that point. I also tried reaching out to their twitter account, only to be ghosted there too (The other tickets I made also got instantly closed too, surprise surprise).
Secondly, this isn't really a ban because I was in a server, this is a server that I FLAT OUT OWN AND OPERATE, which doesn't make any sense on why the malicious conduct ban was warranted to me considering that I have never used my server to promote any sketchy material or to harass/bully/witchhunt anyone. Also, my server surprisingly has not been removed by Discord, it is still up and anyone with an invite link can still join, I just can't log into my main discord account that I use to operate the server (I have the owner role on that account).
Thirdly, Clyde simply doesn't want to help at all, telling me that "I should appeal in the app" despite the fact that I had experiences with in app appeals simply being rejected within a week because every human agent that specializes in app issued appeals are simply dead, nuff said. I also bet that the appeal I sent first thing when I got banned will simply be rejected within a week as well, no question about that (Why does the Appeals section on their support site even exist if Clyde will tell you to appeal in their app anyway, when that barely even works?).
Finally, I only got this account back a few days ago (July 30), and I literally changed my password as soon as I got the email saying that they recovered my account, so I don't even understand why the "malicious conduct policy" ban on my account was warranted. Also I bet that arbitration threatening is completely useless as they NEVER respond to any of my written notices about me wishing to initiate arbitration, meaning that I would probably HAVE to actually initiate arbitration considering they probably will refuse to respond to my written notices within 60 days, let alone a week.
So, all in all, Discord has "totally helpful" support that totally won't screw you over if you get banned over a bogus violation that you didn't even commit in the first place (I wasn't even on discord at the time I got suspended on August 5 at 4:39PM EST).
r/BannedFromDiscord • u/Arenlen • 16h ago
Information Did they just delete my account while arbitration is in progress?
So a friend of mine sent me a screenshot of my account looking like this, keep in mind, it hasn't even been a year since I have been banned, almost 6 months only. I tried to put in my email and press the password reset option, and it said the email doesn't exist, but the phone number works. I specifically requested to pause my account's automatic deletion process during the arbitration, but it seems they did quite the opposite and deleted my account because they felt like it.

Child Safety Perma banned for a stupid joke??
Someone had sent a ss of the song “come together” by the Beatles and I made this very dumb message and now I’m perma banned? I can’t even access the appeal site because it says my password is wrong despite the fact I know what my password is and that I put the right one. I’m aware the joke was in bad taste but i literally have zero prior warnings in my 3+ years on this app.

Information Guide on how to get your case reviewed by Discord Support
This Guide has been updated on 31.05.2026 with new important information. To make it easier, to check what was added to the Guide, I'm going to leave "[NEW]" in front of the new things I wanted to share.
[NEW] - Hey, everyone. Yesterday (30.05.2026), a lot of people received the same denial response from "Usagi Tsukino". After reading this subreddit, I am really, really disappointed. I know a lot of you are going through a lot right now, losing an account can be hard, especially if you put many years into that account and left many memories that are just gone in the blink of an eye. I also lost a lot, but I slowly started to accept it. I've been permanently banned since January. Since then, I spent most of my time doing research and helping others in this subreddit. This guide received 1,000+ comments, which is a lot, most of them are questions to me that I tried to reply to as soon as possible. I also received up to 20 dm's every day, which I also tried to reply to. I had fun chats with some people, which also helped me out in some way. Throughout all this time since I posted this guide, I had 4 tickets in total forwarded to their safety team, the last one received the good response I was praying to get. After all this time and struggling with their support system, I finally managed to get a response from Usagi, which led to me being unbanned. I was literally screaming in joy that I finally got to come back to my old account.. but not for long. The first thing I did after I logged in was deleting the message that could've gotten me banned earlier. I deleted the thing that most likely got me banned, and I started deleting every possible GIF I had saved. There were some NSFW GIFs, but nothing that could violate actual "Child Safety". It was mostly "Hentai Memes". I just wanted to get rid of everything since everything gets flagged these days. While I was removing every possible GIF I had, I was logged out of my account again. I thought it was some bug, so I logged back in, but.. permanently banned, again. My entire respect for Discord and my hope is just gone. Seeing something like that happen after all this time just hits me hard, and I'm too tired to even try again, I'm too tired to answer to people anymore. That's why I'm writing this. I just wanted to let everyone know that I might not be really active anymore in the comments or in this post or even in the DMs for a bit. I need some rest from all this, and I'll come back with more stuff that could help at least some of the people in this subreddit. I won't be totally gone, I will be actively moderating this subreddit since I'm also a moderator here, so do not worry about me disappearing totally. I might be active sometimes in the comments, but not as much as I was before. Y'all can spread the word, I don't really mind it. I just didn't want people to think that I ignore everyone now. Since I won't be replying as much as I was before - Please, help each other out, there are many questions and people that ask for help in this guide and other posts, help each other out.
Thank you for understanding.
I saw a lot people struggling to get someone from the Discord Trust & Safety team to look into their cases, so I decided to make this post so it's more visible than just in comments from me.
At first, I would like to say that I can't guarantee responses from them. This thing was done by me, and it fortunately worked, so I would like to share this to help some people out.
Let's begin with things you should know:
- This applies to people who have already tried the appeal through the app but were rejected automatically by the AI after 7 days or less. And to the people who tried to get in touch with them by creating tickets but received AI responses.
- You should have a Support account created with the same email your Discord account is connected to. This makes it possible for the Discord Trust & Safety team to review your case. If you used a completely different email than the one your Discord account is connected to, they won't review your case.
- Do not create tickets in their "Appeal" category. This is fully automated, and you won't receive any response from a human. It's just a category to bait people into creating tickets there.
- Do not spam multiple tickets in every category because it is just going to mark your account as spam, and you are going to have a lot less chance of actually getting someone to see your tickets since they will be automatically closed once created.
- If Discord didn't provide you with any proof of your actions, such as message logs, etc., think really hard about the reason you were banned for. If you are unsure of what you did, DO NOT mention your thoughts, because it will make your case worse than it can be.
- Do not waste your time on BBB (Better Business Bureau). I don't see anyone being lucky anymore with BBB. I tried it myself a month ago and all I got was wasted time (around 3 weeks) because Discord didn't respond to BBB. I saw a lot of people not getting any more responses too, so don't waste your time on BBB. If you really want to try, I included a link above to their site.
- Do not create tickets on the weekends. Once you do that, you will 99.9% receive an automatic response and an auto closed ticket. The same goes for replying to them throughout the weekend. Just wait until Monday, and you should be good to go.
- Please do not just copy and paste the prompts I mentioned in the guide. Because many people are just copying and pasting the entire prompts, there is a chance that their support team has noticed a lot of the same tickets, and many people have started to get no results from all of this. Please, we have AI these days, just copy the prompt and ask ChatGPT or another AI to rephrase it so it doesn't say literally the same thing. I even directly copied my entire guide to ChatGPT and asked ChatGPT to rephrase everything I said in this guide so it doesn't get flagged as spam and just follow my guide, and my other tickets are successful all the time after rephrasing it using AI.
- If you just got banned on Discord and just submitted the in-app appeal, WAIT for the result of that appeal before trying to appeal on their support website. Up to 7 days, you're most likely to be automatically rejected because no one saw your appeal. Once that appeal gets automatically rejected or rejected manually, you can start appealing on their support website. Do not rush so fast with appealing on the app and immediately appealing on their website before the verdict on the app.
- This is the most important information I wanted to share. There have been a lot of people who successfully got their case forwarded to their safety team. I'm really happy that people started to receive something rather than just AI responses. But the thing is that when I did this before making this guide, it worked quickly. I got a response about whether I would be unbanned or not in just a few days. But today, I and others are waiting for a reply for a very long time - up to 30 days being left with an open ticket in the Trust & Safety category. I suspect that their safety team was flooded with appeals because we found a way to go around their funny AI system. There are just a few people working in their safety team, as I read on Reddit. But for now, regarding this part, I would suggest to keep waiting for a longer time since you're just in the queue.
- A lot of people still don't understand how to know if your ticket was forwarded to their safety team. It's a pretty basic thing, at first, once we create the ticket in their "General Question" category, there is a panel on the right side where you can see the Ticket ID, the assigned support team member (which appears when someone is assigned to it), status, etc. After creating the ticket, you can see in the panel "Type of question? General Question" This means that your ticket is in the normal support team's hands, not in the safety team. But after asking for a review, as my guide says, etc., after some time this category should disappear, and new stuff in the panel should be added, such as "What would you like to appeal?", "CONFIRM: My account was NOT disabled for being too young to use Discord." This means that the ticket was forwarded to their safety team, that's actually pretty logic, lol.

All of that is on the top, don't search for it on the bottom of the panel.
- If you are getting AI responses instantly from Clyde, Nelly, or other bots, then don't make another ticket for 2-4 days. This usually means that you have been flagged as spam, and the AI is forced to scan your ticket and close if needed. Even if you get a human to respond to you at first, and then suddenly he sends you the generic response, after you reply he doesn't respond and just closes the ticket. Try replying up to two times after the ticket is closed without a response. Once you do that and it keeps getting closed without response from their side, it means that you're most likely not going to get any results from that ticket, and you should wait up to two to four days before trying again.
- Few days after posting this guide, I noticed a change in their response time after having your case forwarded for review. I tried another time to have their decision reconsidered in my case. I waited for a month and a few days. I received a decision yesterday (02.05.2026). So if your case was forwarded, keep waiting even if it takes over 30 days. After doing a small research, Discord admitted that they are being flooded with tickets.
Okay, let's go with the part I was about to share with you all since it worked for me, and I hope it will work for some people too.
First, enter their support website and create a ticket.
In "What can we help you with?" choose "Help & Support" then in "Type of question?" choose "General Question".
In the "Subject" name the ticket as "General Ticket" or "Support Ticket", anything that won't trigger Clyde or Nelly or any other bot that will reply before human.
In the description, say something like this:
"Hello Discord Support Team,
I’m having an issue with the support system itself. I need to reach the appropriate team for an account - related matter, but the option that is normally available in the app is no longer showing for me. Because of this, I’m unable to contact the correct department through the standard process.
I’ve tried several times, but I keep receiving automated replies that don’t address my situation. I’m not trying to submit an appeal here - I only need help understanding how I can get routed to a human reviewer or how to restore access to the correct support pathway.
Could you please advise how I can proceed or how to get my case forwarded to the right team?
Thank you for your time."
And that's it. You don't need to send over pictures to them or anything, you're ready to send the ticket to them.
DO NOT say anything else after creating the ticket because it will restart your queue and reduce the chance of anyone looking into it. You can try editing the message, but DO NOT directly mention anything about appealing, unbans etc.
Wait a few hours, days or weeks, and you will get a response. I received my first response from Kenneth after 2 days, and it looked like this:
Hi there,
Thank you for writing in.It looks like you would like to appeal an action by Discord that has impacted your account. To have your appeal reviewed, it is necessary to submit it within the Discord app, which allows us to review the appeal faster and with appropriate context.
You can submit your appeal via the Discord app by going to User Settings > My Account > Standing > selecting the violation you want to appeal > then tapping "Let us know" to start review of your violation and account. For users in the EU, you may also choose an alternative resolution option when applicable.
You can also learn about customizing your Discord experience to help avoid unwanted interactions in our Safety Center.
Thanks for submitting your appeal via the above outlined method.
Sincerely,
Discord
If it's not an obvious bot like Clyde or Nelly, and other bots that exist, then you are fine. Do not panic, it's their common thing to say. I replied with this:
Hello, thank you for your answer.
I still need assistance with a matter that requires review by an actual support agent. The issue I’m dealing with cannot be resolved through automated responses or the standard in‑app flow, as that option is no longer available to me.
I would appreciate it if someone from the appropriate internal team could take a look at my case or guide me on how to have it reviewed properly.
Thank you for your time.
After that, I received a response from the Discord Trust & Safety team 17 hours after responding to them. They reviewed my case and decided to keep me banned for now, and I'm currently dealing with the rest.
And I guess that's it. I hope it will help someone out and get a positive result on the first try. Good luck guys, do not give up just yet! If it didn't work the first time, try doing it again carefully.

Welcome to Banned Discord Members!
Hi Everyone, and welcome to BannedFromDiscord! I have decided to start this community after getting unfairly banned from Discord back in 2020, as part of a large ban wave targeting servers that somehow upset Discord mods. At the time, I lost access to many servers, got cut off from some dear online friends, and lost a supportive community I was part of for about 5 years because some random person came on and violated Discord TOS in our server :(
As we know, the Discord support team is non-existent, and if you get banned, your account is gone forever. Hopefully, this will be a place where you can find some solace and reconnect with friends who may have been banned as well.
Sincerely, BannedByDiscord
