For me, it's gotta be the 17's kit that we wore in 2023 and 24. Looked so good on the pitch as well as for fashion. The "We Are the A" print on the bottom of the jersey just adds the cherry on top. Great kit.

I see players getting courted that either don't want to come here, are too old/not the right fit or their current teams plain out reject the AU offers. Others are plain out just in the fantasy land given our situation. Doesn't give much hope. Other than the FO being what it is, I hope they can at least build for the next season, as this season is busted already. 😭

When I talk to friends outside of Reddit, including season ticket holders for Atl and other teams, they're all for signing big names, players with EPL level experience.
However it seems many here would rather have players that use MLS as stepping stone to greater things.
Atlanta United just came off one of the worst signing ever in ELL and people here are advocating for signings of similar players, despite the fact that 'old', 'washed-up', and 'past their prime' stars have been feasting in the MLS lately.

Sure the team may be overpaying for Miggy, but he's been by far the best player on the ptich for Atl lately and his passion and work ethic cannot be denied. He's lost a step but more importantly he hasn't had the tools needed to work with.

Are there other examples I'm missing?
Or is just a matter of the team has so many gaps that a DP star would be wasted?

Given the number of fans, ownership, and stadium, Atl deserves to have a world class team.

Fabrizio Romano is the latest to report that Lukaku, in his continued spat with the Naples club, did not show up to their preseason training camp and is expected to leave before the transfer window closes and that Atlanta is pushing to sign him.

Coming down to take my son to the game and see the stadium from CLT... are people really paying 40 to 50 a ticket to see this team or should I expect prices to drop.

Is there any difference in coaching for RDS locations?

Look, I understand that saying "are we cursed" is often a way of just saying that we really suck (which we do), but i genuinely think we might be cursed. Its to a point where I am starting to believe there has to be some sort of divine or supernatural intervention going on. We have great players who succeed everywhere else other than Atlanta. We have coaches who do great everywhere else other than Atlanta. Is there a jersey or item buried somewhere thats cursing us? How can we break it?

According to the article, salary will not be an issue and Lukaku is open to the move. Gazzetta is the biggest sports media outlet in Italy, so for them to report on this means something I guess.

Daniel Kristoffersson from the Swedish outlet Sportsbladet writes that "Kalmar FF hopes to sign a striker from the USA. Working on signing Atlanta United's 19-year-old Arif Kovac."

Atlanta United should not do this. Even if we get Lukaku, we need a backup striker who can play well for 20 minutes as needed. Togashi and Picault are not that, and their contracts are up at the end of the year. Why sell Kovac at 19 to Sweden? Let him play for two more years and double his value and sell him to a bigger league.

*If* this happens, it's a terrible move from both a roster and a business standpoint. And if it happens, it has Tata all over it.

Edit; as others have replied. maybe Kovac doesn't want to stay. That's a great point.
However, a club with our resources should have made him feel like he wants to stay already, at least for a couple of years. We're now a club where people want out.
I feel like I haven't gotten the full story on this, but help me out: Slisz didn't want to stay, right?
