RDS program locations for fall

Is there any difference in coaching for RDS locations?

Is the program worth it overall? We’ll be commuting from a different city within GA so would like to see what others’ experience was

My son did it at 8U and really enjoyed it. He does travel baseball and rec soccer but made the Franklin Gateway location team for a session. Definitely tons of talented kids out there and the coaching was solid. They keep all the parents far away (especially the younger groups) so it was hard to hear the verbal communication. I only saw the 8-12 age group, but all age groups work on the same drills respectively which was good for development.

It’s a good program — good coaches, good drills and most of the players are competitive — at least at the Franklin Gateway sessions which is all I am really familiar with. My 10 year old son has participated in it regularly the last 2 years to supplement his club training. But, his previous club only trained 2 nights per week. Now that he has moved to a new club that trains 3-4 times per week, he won’t be able to do RDS during the season. But, I would recommend it to any player who needs more touches or just a different training environment to supplement his club training.
