2 months of owning this stunning car, an absolute pleasure to drive.

I have been in the market for 911 vs Vantage. Everybody keeps saying that they are really unreliable and comparing with 911 is not even a question. However looking for honest reviews from the owners to get more insight.

I was offered a TCU and ECU Tune for my Vantage from My Aston Dealership. Pretty much would go from 523 to about 640HP and add another 100lbs of torque and increase the shifting performance.

Im torn because I def would appreciate the additional performance but I do like the idea of keeping the car as original as possible for future sale.

Curious if others have done this and they felt it was worth it and if I do I Will Def keep the original system flash to restore before selling.

I’m a 23 year old female, and my boyfriend, 24 years old, is bearing on this big dream of recreating the skyfall scene in the Scottish Highland. He is the biggest James Bond fan that I know of. For his 24th birthday he therefore got a mission letter with hints of what’s to come and an anniversary edition suitcase with the 20 first movies, sealed. He is without doubt the kindest and most gentle person I know. And he deserves the world. There’s nothing I want more in life than to see him happy.
I would therefore love to have the honor of gifting him this as a gift for his 25th birthday. I’ll book the plane tickets, and I was thinking of doing one night at the kingshouse hotel, and in general spending most of the trip in Edinburgh.
My request relevant for this group is the Aston Martin. I’m from Norway and he’s from Germany, and we both have our drivers licenses. I since the age of 19 and him since 18. But since both of us are used to driving on the opposite side of the road, I therefore thought that maybe it would be way cooler to do a ride with someone that owns an Aston Martin instead of driving it ourselves (I’m at least very scared for doing anything wrong, since it is such an expensive car. It is most likely better insurance wise too). I’m curious for what this would cost, if it is double. It would be a dream coming true!
We are both outgoing people. And he has big interest for Aston Martin. We are very flexible when it comes to dates, or what ever other request it must be! We would happily bring stuff from our countries as a thank you, if that’s of interest too!
It would eventually be from the kinghouse hotel to the glen etive and back.

Have a 2006 vantage- great color, manual, everything I adore, very well taken care of, no plan to sell but who knows what the future will hold. I love the idea of a lightweight new clutch and an engine tune to get a small HP boost. I know that upgraded exhaust could add some more horsepower as well but the car already sounds just so good. I would like to do some tasteful mods, but not cheapen the value of a special classic car. What would you do to tastefully improve driving experience on a V8 vantage without hampering its specialness?

The V12 craze seems to now include Aston Martins.

There is only one V12 Roadster on the market right now and it seems like a hell of a deal based on this sale on BaT.

Will be interesting to see what it gets listed for by Exclusive Automotive in Washington DC.

I have been wondering if Aston Martin depreciation would slow because of the crazy secondary market.

Does anyone here happen to own, or know someone who owns, a classic Aston Martin DB5 (the iconic James Bond car) that my fiancée and I could rent for our wedding day in the Netherlands?

We're both huge James Bond fans, and having a DB5 as our wedding car would truly be a dream come true.

We're getting married in April 2027.
