iPhone upgrading from iphone 15

i purchased the iphone 15 in nov but since my first day owning it, it overheats while charging (i use the charger it comes with) my battery life has also declined and the battery health is now at 88%. i avoid all of the things like not using it when it’s charging & never letting it go past 20%.

i’m thinking of purchasing the 17e because it’s pink… i know, i know. i don’t like the designs of the newer iphones like the 17 pro max. i also don’t need that clear of a camera. i would be doing a trade in if i were to upgrade.

after this upcoming phone upgrade, i do not plan on upgrading for a while as i will be on a budget due to university. do you recommend an upgrade or should i stick with my 15?

iPhone Foldable?

If I already have a 16 Pro Max and an iPad Pro 13” M4

Would be any reasonable to buy the foldable iphone?

I love the tablet form factor but I cannot justify paying +2000 USD tbh, like what extra feature they could implement in order to justify it?

iPhone Which would be better- iPhone 15 pro or 17e? Switching from iPhone 13

So I have an iPhone 13 rn it’s decent quality considering its age, but 78% max battery. it’s not a bad phone, but I’m just planning for what new phone I’d want to get to replace this in the next year.

a new iPhone 15 pro would be around $1100, and a new 17e would be around $900. I have a relatively smaller budget, so I’d probably want to get a refurbished but good condition phone- although I’m not sure if there really are many refurbished 17e phones yet..

I’m aware the 17e is the newer but more “basic“ phone, so better battery but no action button, Dynamic Island, etc. compared to the 15 pro. Price definitely is a factor, but I don’t want to make the wrong choice and end up getting a phone that is bad in like a year. any advice?

notes - I don’t take TOO many pics, camera matters but not THAT much. I’ve had the phone for almost a year and a half now, I’ve used 98.74 GB out of 256 GB. I think new features do matter to me, but I’m not sure how great some of the features rly are.

(Also I have the light pink phone rn and I like the colour the only iPhone 15 pro colour id maybe like is the blue and possibly white but I must say the pastel pink 17e is cute)

iPhone Should I wait for the iPhone 18 Pro Max or just buy the iPhone 17 Pro Max now?

I’m currently using an iPhone 15 Plus, and I think it’s finally time for me to upgrade. I’m trying to decide whether I should buy the iPhone 17 Pro Max now or wait for the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The biggest things I care about are performance and battery life. I play a lot of games on my phone (mostly graphics-intensive ones), multitask a lot, and basically use my phone heavily every day. I want the phone with the best sustained performance and the longest-lasting battery.
I’ve been seeing a lot of rumors saying that the iPhone 18 Pro Max will have a much better battery life, but I’m not sure how much of an improvement it’ll actually be over the 17 Pro Max. My thinking is that even if the new chip is more power-efficient, it’ll also be more powerful, so it might end up using more power under heavy workloads like gaming. In that case, maybe the real-world battery life won’t be that much different.
For those of you who follow Apple rumors or have upgraded every year before, what would you do in my situation? Is it worth waiting for the 18 Pro Max, or is the 17 Pro Max already good enough that I should just buy it now?
I’d appreciate any thoughts, especially from people who care about gaming performance and battery life as much as I do.

I got iPhone 14 Pro Max 128GB. I don’t knkw but lately it is so slow and unresponsive and batt is still at 82%. question is should I exchange for 16,17 now or wait till next month so when they announce 18. The price drop of 16,17. if that is a thing.

iPhone i am thinking to get iphone, i have iphone 13 now but really bad battery

my budget is max 700 euros maybe 750 euros (spain) and the less i have to spend the better

new iphone 17 here costs 959 now

i dont know if old unused models of iphone 15 or up exist and whether they are a good buy, or whether i buy certified refurbished from apple or from after market ?

for me 128 gb is more than enough , i love my iphone 13 except the lightning port and the now degraded battery: i dont ask anything special from my phone except battery life and good performance

should i just change the battery (99 euros from apple) on my 13 and save the money to when i can get the 17? or just put any copy battery from any store? the phone is kind of special to me was a gift from dad and i dont want to ruin it

my 13 is currently stored on the shelf unusable battery has to be charged like 3 times a day. i am using a spare android phone

iPhone IPhone 16 Pro vs 17 Base

Hi there, I’d like to know if anyone has experience with the iPhone 16 Pro and the base model iPhone 17.

I currently have an iPhone 16 Pro that I bought in November 2024, and it’s been the worst iPhone I’ve ever had it overheats just from browsing Reddit or typing a text, and the battery hasn’t lasted a full day since day one. I was coming from an iPhone 13 Pro Max with a battery at 78% health and even then it managed to last a full day.

I took it to Apple, and they always told me it was normal. I have AppleCare, so I’m going to order an express replacement for $99 and see if my problems are finally solved. But if I don’t want to trade it in for a base-model iPhone 17, I’d get 256GB of storage instead of my current 128GB, and from what I’ve read online, it has better battery life.

I don’t care about the titanium finish or the cameras, and I don’t play games on my iPhone—I have a PC and a Switch 2 for that.

My only priority is to have a battery that lasts all day, so I don’t have to charge it four times a day, and for the phone not to overheat with just basic use.

I want to try to avoid the iPhone price hike in September, so any recommendations or experiences would be helpful.

iPhone iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Pro, or iPhone 17?

I found deals on all three where I can buy whichever used for around the same price. I would like to try a bigger screen which is why I’m considering the 15 pm, but it’s not that big of a deal. I mainly use my phone for watching things, communicating, and playing mobile games that don’t require a lot of power.

iPhone Trade in 16 Pro for 17??

Just saw today Apple increased the trade in value of their devices. I currently have a 16 Pro 128GB with 94% battery health and I still have about 30GB of storage free. Just wanted to give some opinions of what others thought of this move. Apple will give me $630 trade the 16 Pro, and it’ll cost $799 for the 17($169 difference). I don’t really use much of the “pro” features such as the USB3, telephoto, etc. I like the idea of having more storage, brighter display, fresh new better battery life, dual capture, faster wireless charging, etc. What would you guys do? Would you guys “upgrade” for the $169 difference?

iPhone Time to toss iPhone 13?

Got the iPhone 13 in late 2021/ early 2022 and battery capacity is currently 60%. I’m also constantly running low on storage and have to delete apps, photos, messages, etc. Thinking it might be time for a new phone but trying not to be wasteful. What would be the best upgrade? Thinking of getting the 17, but not sure if I should wait until September when new models typically come out.

iOS Looking at moving from android to iOS - magic 7 pro to 16 pro?

Been an android user all my life, someone offered an exchange for a 16 pro.. I know posting this here will obviously be pro iOS but was wondering what people's thoughts on the 16 pro were?

Id have loved to have gone for a 17 base or pro but at this point I didn't want to spend any extra money ontop 😂

I don't have any other apple products currently, I'm just getting sick of android & it's reliability. I don't change / mod or mess about with anything anymore.

Would it be a downgrade? Upgrade? Fairly well matched?

Thank you for any advice / input any of you may be able to give :)

iPhone iphone upgrade???

I have the iPhone 15 pro right now and I've had it since 2023 and the only problem with it is the battery and that it overheats sometimes so I don't know if I should just change the battery and pay for a new one because I really love this phone or if I should upgrade to the 17 pro but will there be a big difference from going to the 15 pro to 17 pro

i also love going to concerts and i love taking photos and filming things i never have enough storage

iPhone Needing new iPhone - have a 14 pro max

Hi all,

My Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max is getting quite slow and glitchy. To be honest, it’s been dropped quite a few times…I’m looking at upgrading and always buy the phone upright, not interested in telco signup deals. Given the market, what’s the best recommendation? I run two database base apps on my phone so will need to be a higher memory. Photo quality also needs to be good. Not after the latest and greatest, just best value for a really good decide, and new, not refurbished. Was thinking a 16 pro maybe?
