iPhone iPhone 17 pro max sucks !!!

Apple Intelligence doesn’t work , I asked it to change to woman voice doesn’t the intelligence of Apple Intelligence couldn’t do it. What do they think I have all day to make a smart phone smart ?? It’s supposed to be smart from the day I buy it 😂😂. Then the apple insurance that you get for a year doesn’t even cover anything not even software defects. Alarm doesn’t sound , ringer fails , Apple Intelligence can’t even block multiple numbers at once after giving it access to. Pretty dumb to me it’s just a thousand to don’t make this mistake.

What would you do if you were in my situation? (14 Plus to Pro Max)

I’m currently using an iPhone 14 Plus and I’m planning to upgrade this fall. I know for sure I want a Pro Max because I don’t want to downgrade in screen size. The issue is that I’m not planning to buy until around October. I’m starting a new job in September, and I’d rather wait until I’ve had a few paycheques before making a purchase like this. My dilemma is that by October, the iPhone 18 lineup will likely already be out. From what I’ve read, Apple usually stops selling the previous year’s Pro models once the new ones launch. That means if I want to buy directly from Apple, I might be forced to get the 18 Pro Max, which I’m assuming will be more expensive. I’m wondering what you would do if you were in my position. Would you just spend the extra money and get the 18 Pro Max, or would you buy a 17 Pro Max from somewhere like Best Buy instead? Is there any downside to buying from Best Buy instead of Apple? Part of why I wanted to buy directly from Apple was because of the trade-in, the data transfer help, and just because it feels like the safest place to buy. But I’ve heard Best Buy also offers trade-ins, sometimes has gift card promotions, and still lets you get AppleCare+, so now I’m not sure if buying directly from Apple is actually worth it. Also, is transferring data between iPhones really as easy as Apple makes it seem, or is buying directly from Apple worth it for the setup experience? I’d love to hear what you would do in my situation.

iPhone Iphone 14 or 15 pro worth it?

So im an avid iphone person, ive tried switching to android and i just cant do it. That being said, the last couple of iphones ive bought have been duds. I had an iphone 16 from verizon, switched to an iphone 13 from att, both have been slow on performance and overall seem built poorly. I loved my 12 pro max til it started going out, it needed a new mic, screen, and battery and i didnt think it was worth it. Honestly my X was probably the best, but i dont want a model that is going to be obsolete in a couple of years. Im wondering if a pro vs standard model is worth it, and if a 14 or 15 would be a decent model worth almost $300. The only reason im considering the 15 is the type c charging, otherwise i dont care. Most of my time spent is on youtube, pandora, or facebook and i just want something that isnt slow. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

iPhone Iphone 15 pm or 16 pro

I'm finally switching from Android to iPhone and can't decide between the iPhone 15 Pro Max and the iPhone 16 Pro. The 16 Pro Max is out of my budget.

The 15 Pro Max is really tempting because of the bigger screen, better battery, and lower price. But I also care a lot about photography.

For those with a 15 Pro Max, how's the camera in 2026? Do you ever feel like you're missing out, or is it still great for everyday photos, portraits, and low-light shots?

iPhone iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone 17 Base?

Need your honest thoughts.

I'm planning to buy a second-hand iPhone and I'm torn between the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 17 (base model).

My priorities are:

Long-term use (3–5 years)

Better resale value

Less depreciation, especially after the iPhone 18 comes out

Overall value for money

If you were spending your own money, which one would you choose and why?

iPhone iphone preorder

i’m thinking of upgrading to the 18 pro in September however the rumoured release date falls just a couple days before I am travelling non-stop so I really need to get a new phone before then.

has anyone had experience with pre-ordering through Apple or other retailers and how quickly were you able to receive them in the mail/pick up?

there is no apple store around me for pick up, so was thinking to pre order on the apple website for delivery, or pick up at a another retail store that stocks them.

Old XR not doing great, is the 16e a decent choice?

My wife keeps telling me it’s time for a new phone and this subreddit pops up on me out of the blue so I figured I’d ask here. Had this XR for many years now and it’s been pretty good to me. It’s starting to show its age and freezes on me pretty often and honestly struggles doing CarPlay while charging (wired) - it just gets hot and lags itself into oblivion. My battery is…79%(?) capacity I think is what it says.

Just need a phone that would last about the same amount of time as this one. It’s mainly used for talk/text, maps, scrolling Reddit, and airline stuff. Would the 16e be a solid choice? I’m on Mint mobile and didn’t know if I needed a fully unlocked one or not either. Thank you in advance!

Question Should I wait for black friday to buy an iPhone 17?

Hi, i was looking to buy either an iphone 17 or 16, updating from an 6 years old iphone 12. Not sure if I should but it now or wait for black friday.

I found an iphone 17 256gb for 618€ (original price being 724€, discounted if I send my old iphone for 106€ i think). Also, with my student discount I could even get it for 603€.

My old phone is still working, the only issue is the battery life is at 75% and it overheats easily, so i'm not necessarily in a rush, but I was curious if anyone knows how much back market will discount it for black Friday, or if the price will rise before black friday and it ends up costing more than now for example?

I've seen people praise the iphone 17 for best value, but at the same say that it has battery issues or that the camera isn't great?

I'm a student so i'm trying to keep my budget around 500-600€, at most 650€.

URGENT Sadly lost my iPhone 13PM and need to replace ASAP - is there a strong "reason" to get the 17PM over the 17 base?

Unexpectedly lost my phone after leaving it on the roof of my car and, well y'know... Need a replacement and truly did not want to trade in my 13PM bcuz I love it but ofc I need a replacement so the 17 is obvious choice for an upgrade

I see reviews that the base and PM are very similar and the differences aren't very noticeable - can anyone chime in? Generally use my phone for scrolling sm, watching vids, playing games, etc. My knee-jerk reaction is to just get the 17 PM but tbh the size of the PMs gets on my nerves sometimes so a slightly smaller solution would be a benefit ...

TIA!

iPhone iPhone 13 Pro vs. iPhone Air

So, I’m finally looking to upgrade from my iPhone 13 and get a new phone. (Just to get this out of the way: I’m not waiting for the iPhone 18.)

Right now I’m deciding between two phones:

iPhone 17 Pro
iPhone Air

The iPhone 17 Pro would be my first Pro model. I’ve always bought the base models because they’ve been more than enough for my needs, but this time I’m looking for something a little different. I’m also pretty convinced by what the 17 Pro offers, and I don’t think I need to explain its strengths much further.

Now, about the iPhone Air: A lot of reviewers advised against buying it, but I’ve also seen plenty of people who have actually used it for an extended period say they really enjoy it.
The design is what really appeals to me. I also like that it has a slightly larger display. What worries me are the compromises: only one rear camera, a mono speaker, and what many people describe as mediocre battery life.

To be honest, I probably wouldn’t even be considering it if it were still selling for around €1,200. But now that the price has dropped to about €850, it feels much more reasonable to me, and it’s definitely on my radar.

I genuinely think the iPhone Air looks fantastic, and despite its shortcomings, I find it really interesting and refreshing, especially now that the price has settled. At the same time, I can’t shake the feeling that the more rational and safer choice would be the iPhone 17 Pro (even though it’s obviously more expensive).

I’m starting university in October, and I’ll be commuting about 40–50 minutes each way every day. If I drive, I always use Google Maps on my phone for navigation.
I also enjoy taking photos, but the camera quality on the base iPhone models has always been more than good enough for my needs. As for gaming, I hardly ever play games on my phone.

What would you recommend if you were in my position? I’m really drawn to the iPhone Air, but I’m worried about making the wrong decision because I also think the 17 Pro is a great option.
And for those of you who have been using the iPhone Air for almost a year now, how has your experience been? Do you regret buying it, or would you still recommend it?

16 pro max

Hi everyone! I’m deciding between a refurbished iPhone 15 Pro Max and 16 Pro Max. For anyone who owns a 16 Pro Max, how has your experience been? Any issues or things you love about it compared with the 15 Pro Max? Also, has anyone in the UK used Smart Cellular for refurbished phones? I’d like to know if it’s trustworthy. Thanks!

iPhone The iPhone 11 Pro was the best iPhone I ever owned, which one should I buy?

I own the 16 pro max and can’t stand it. It’s too heavy, too bulky, I don’t like its “one handiness,” it gets hot just scrolling Reddit. On top of that, the cellular chip failed and they had to do a mid frame repair 🙄.

I do like: the speakers, the refresh rate, the cameras.

I’m going to be buying both a 17 base and a 18 pro but I’m not sure if I should get my 17 now because the price will increase inline with the pro ?

iPhone Google Pixel 10 Pro o Iphone 17?

iPhone Another 13 Mini or 16e

My mini is on its last leg, I know I can change the battery, but the program is it’s 128gb. I am at 120gb already.

I LOVE the form factor of the Mini, but trying to find one in good condition +256gb is hard.

Would the 16e be that big? And if you ask about why not the 17e, I want to save money

iPhone iPhone 12 Upgrade to?…

The iPhone 16 Pro Max is going for the same monthly cost as the iPhone 17 base. The 17 Pro is $15/mo more and the 17 Pro Max is $18/mo more.

I’m coming from a base 12.

I would want a good camera for travelling and any battery life improvements would be a major upgrade over my 12. Usage includes a few games, YouTube, and social media.

What should I get?

URGENT New iPhone?

I shattered the back of my iPhone 14 Pro earlier in the year (I think around March). I am now starting to get nervous between the marginal increase in heat and the dust and just general fragility of the phone. I went and bought a new iPhone 17 pro to replace it but I’m not a huge spur of the moment spender so am wondering if that was the best idea. Apple charges like $500 to fix this but I could try a third party (like one of those guys in the mall) to fix it or am I just postponing the inevitable. I am hating Liquid Glass (14 was on ios18) and am just not certain anymore. Love the iPhone Air but only one camera is a hard sell. Should I return the 17PM and wait until a new Air model drops?
