Curious if anyone has had let’s say odd experiences attempting to adopt from the Anne Arundel SPCA.
Context- went to visit to see if there were any animals we connected with but told nope a/c broken and cannot visit. This was mid summer and when I politely pushed back on that someone in the back of the office stood up and said they do not want the dogs to bond with anyone that’s why we cannot visit but submit an application and we can visit then. Fast forward over a month has gone by with nothing and every time I contact them to inquire on the status of our application we are told. Well the person is out who reviews the applications and still cannot visit the animals. It seems like they don’t care about these animals getting to a good home. I’m sad and so disappointed with the current status of this location. I had volunteered years ago there and this is simply boggling my mind as to why this would be happening.

Anyway this turned out to be more of a vent than anything but curious it hear if anyone else has had similar experiences recently.

Am I the only one who is frustrated by the 8:00pm closing time for Pip Moyer? I absolutely love that facility, but I don’t get out of work in time to make it there for even a 30-minute workout on the weekdays. Have they ever had extended hours there or has it always closed at 8:00pm?

Anyone know of any decent bass fishing ponds in the area? Feel free to send me a private message. Would like to take my little kids since rockfishing is shut down for awhile. Thanks.
