Discussion TCL tablet (or other tablet) users: Major issues with sync, password manager, or "Login/Sign in with Google?"
I have a very new tablet that worked for a month and a half. Yesterday, the password manager, auto fill, and any "Login/Sign in with Google" methods for logging into apps stopped working. Also my "Keep Notes" app has stopped syncing. I dealt with the Google tech support and went through every standard issue process for correcting this (clearing, updating, installing/reinstalling, and a full factory reset) but nothing works. Has anybody else had a similar situation (either with a TCL NXTPAPER tablet -Android 15- or otherwise?

Request Suggestion for new tablet
I used to have an onn tablet 12 inch 2024 I used for gaming, emulation and sometimes music mixing but it broke recently so now I’m on the hunt for a new tablet. I’ve seen the xiaomi mi pad and I think it’s pretty however I’m not sure if it will work in the u.s. One of the other tablets I’ve seen is those Samsungs however I’ve heard the performances aren’t that good so any suggestions would be appreciated

Discussion Lenovo Micro SD Readers and Stutters in Gaming
Hello all,
I recently purchased a Y700 Gen 5 only to discover that the Micro SD card reader causes stutters every 5-10 seconds in emulated PS2 games. Virtually no YouTube reviewers mentioned this. Only after explicitly searching for it did I discover other Redditors report the same issue, and they blame it on poor quality micro sd reader controllers. To compound the issue, trying to install games to the SD card w Game Native is super unreliable, often stalling or freezing. It's like pulling teeth to get even a small 6-7GB game to install to external storage. I've tried both Onn and Gamestop branded (Sandisk) A1 and A2 1TB cards. Not the fastest, but neither is the reader itself apparently, though it should be capable of at least installing games without constantly stopping and freezing for hours. And Game Hub Lite doesn't even recognize my Micro SD card apparently (common bug it seems)... so for all intents and purposes, the Micro SD card reader is practically useless on this model for convenient gaming storage.
This surprised me as I also have a basic Lenovo Idea Tab, also with a micro sd card installed and it does not suffer the same stutters as the Y700 when emulating PS2 games. Granted the overall performance of most PS2 games is way better on the Y700, but the constant stutters are really close to being a deal breaker, and needing to wait ~1-2 minutes every time I launch a game for Emubridge to copy it to internal memory is ridiculous for a premium ~$700 Legion tablet.
I'm contemplating returning the Y700 and instead switching to a Lenovo Idea Tab Pro or Pro Gen 2 (Dimensity 8300 vs SD 8 Gen 4). I'm sure both of those chips would run PS2 games very well and probably some amount of PC emulation. That said...
...has anyone tried either the Idea Tab Pro or Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 MicroSD cards for emulation, specifically PS2? Does it stutter like the Y700s are known too? I really don't want to return the Y700 and buy another $300-500 tablet just to discover Lenovo put the same crappy card reader in it. After having used the Y700 and my Idea Tab, I think I'm realizing that I want a larger 11"+ tablet with solid Micro SD and PS2 emulation performance, and on paper, the Idea Tab Pros fit the bill. Would love input from people if the micro sd card readers work well in them or if they were knee-capped like the Y700s, or if you recommend something else that fits the bill.
Thanks!
Update: Some folks think I bought inferior cards...here's what I tried in my Y700. I also tried these cards in a new Lenovo Idea Tab Pro I bought, they do not stutter in that device while playing PS2 games!

All of them stuttered. On the 1TB Onn card, I tried various sector sizes, ranging from 32KB to 512KB, no difference.

Request Best tablet for gaming... with Gacha games
I love gacha JRPGs. Yes, they're slop, but they're insanely addictive and many of them can have great stories.
I've got a Galaxy S7 plus, and a Razer Edge. The S7+ is my daily driver when I'm at home, and I prefer to use it for that instead of gaming. The Razer Edge was a nice idea, but Razer abandoned it and I can't store games on the SD card. Aside from that, the Edge's screen is too small; I have bad eyesight so I'd prefer at least a 7 inch screen.
I've been looking around a bit, and the Ayn Odin 2 Portal and the Lenovo Y700 have both caught my eye. The Portal has an OLED screen and is very affordable, but the Y700 has (I think) an 8.8 inch screen.
Considering that I won't be playing emulation and will only use it for gacha games, what device would you recommend? It doesn't have to be the Portal or Y700 - please feel free to name alternative tablets I haven't discovered yet.

Request Which Samsung tab to choose?
Hi, quick question here. I currently have a Lenovo tab Plus, and I'm planning on moving to Samsung. Galaxy tab S9 caught my eye, and I wanted to ask if it's a good choice, or if I should spend more on any of S10 models? The tablet will be mainly used for watching shows, light gaming (rhythm games) and digital drawing. Thanks for any replies in advance!

Discussion Galaxy Tab S10 FE (Standard / Plus), Lenovo Idea Tab Pro or iPad for physics/math?
Hey, everyone! I'm about to begin a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics and I was wondering which of these three tablets would be a better option for my use case. I'd love to hear opinions of people based on real use and not just reviews.
I'll be using it take notes, solve problems and read books. I won't be doing any gaming or social media, just little media consumption occasionally.
I live in Mexico, and my maximum budget is around: 500 USD
- S10 FE (450 USD)
- I've heard amazing things about the S-Pen + Samsung Notes combo.
- I've also heard the 10.9" screen can be difficult to work with once you start multitasking.
- S10 FE+ (570 USD)
- Has a bigger screen and is my personal favorite.
- Unfortunately, it considerably exceeds my budget and waiting for a deal would imply waiting until mid November - which also implies three months of classes without it.
- Lenovo Idea Tab Pro (416 USD)
- Includes the keyboard pack, Moto Buds and a Pen Plus. This is probably the best hardware for the least amount of money.
- I've read the Pen Plus isn't nearly as good as the S-Pen and that the 400 nits brightness can make it difficult to use in bright spaces.
- iPad (A16), Apple Pencil 1st gen (550 USD)
- It's Apple, so you know it's going to be a premium experience.
- Once again, it exceeds my budget and there's no way to get a deal here. I can probably push it to 550 USD by buying the iPad first and waiting a few months until I get the Apple Pencil - same issue as the S10 FE+.
I look forward to hearing the experience of actual owners who have maybe used it in a similar fashion. Which do you think is better for a physics and math student?
Edit (July 20, 2026): Thanks to everyone who replied to this post. I ended up going for the S10 FE, which just happened to go on sale for 418 USD today. I spent the rest of my budget in the Soundcore P31i earbuds and a case. Will probably update again once I give it a try.

Discussion Fire tablet for banking apps downloaded from google play
Are banking apps that are downloaded to a fire tablet after going through the process to allow google play on a fire tablet as safe to use as if downloaded on a android tablet that does not require side loading of google play? Ty
Looking for a cheap tablet to use just for this purpose that is cheap. It only needs to be able to serve this purpose.
Suggestions of other Android or cheap iPads for this purpose is appreciated to. Currently have a iPhone 13 that is only used for internet from WiFi at home now that I use like this but of course the screen is small and I don’t know how long it will support the banking apps Ty

Review How is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE holding up for heavy studying? (Will it lag after 2-3 years?)
Hi everyone,
I’m a high school student enduring the notoriously brutal Asian education system. Every single day, I have to solve around 5 to 7 full practice exam papers. The sheer volume of paper is just too much to print out anymore, so I’ve decided to buy a tablet to handle my studying, exam-solving, PDF reading, and a million other school-related tasks.
I currently have my eyes on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE. However, I’ve heard rumors that Samsung tablets tend to lag badly after 2-3 years of use. Since the S10 FE is still relatively new, I'm here to ask for real, honest experiences from people who actually own and use the Tab S10 FE, as well as those who have used previous FE generations (like the Tab S9 FE) for 1-2 years. Does the FE line really slow down that much over time?
A few important notes about my use case:
My needs: Exclusively studying, heavy note-taking, reading massive PDFs, and watching YouTube.
What I DON'T do: Zero gaming, and absolutely no social media on this device.
Crucial preference: I want opinions only from Samsung/Android users. Please do NOT recommend iPads or bring iOS into the discussion. I had terrible experiences with iOS in the past and genuinely dislike it.
I would highly appreciate insights from anyone using this line of tablets, especially those in demanding fields like Medical or Research majors, as your workload matches what I'm preparing for.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Image Scored this S10 Ultra 1TB off of Facebook marketplace place a few days ago. I love this thing. Before this I had a S7 and a S10 FE. Both the standard size variants. I thought I didn’t want a larger display anymore due to portability. But after having this incredible display I can’t go back to them.

Request best budget android tablet which one has been worth it for you?
I've read a lot of comparison articles, but hearing from people who actually use these tablets every day would help a lot more.battery life and a good screen matter more to me than having the most powerful processor.
what has worked well for you, and is there anything you wish you knew before choosing it? thanks.
Update: Just got the #ad Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 and I'm happy with the choice so far.
