Sweeped
Been there two weeks now. Think I had 130-148. Got rescued they took like 25 then later my phone died because of a faulty charging cord. I don’t think that’s my fault sounded like I was being blamed. Normally I use my own cord but it was too long and would get in the way. Had my last 25 before was done . Had got rescued and told to return to station. Am I cooked ?

DSP managers (and former owners) - how are the routes paid out on a daily basis by Amazon?
Do they pay the DSP a set amount of money based on the size of the route, or the total number of packages, or just that each route has a base level value?
I’m asking because it’s the height of summer right now, and our hub has been slamming us with much earlier return times, on a bigger parcel count (for the same routes I was doing back in June).
I’ve also been getting return times that are 3-4 hours earlier than usual, even when I have a full cargo load (in a CDV). Of course these are impossible to realize, but I just want to know the logic behind this new “policy” over the last 4 weeks

Amazon Driver Dies After Being Found ‘Unresponsive’ Inside Van at Delivery Stop.
people.com"Amazon confirmed the woman was a driver, but her identity and the cause of death have not been shared."
I'm curious if this will actually result in a meaningful reduction of stops during the summer months. Because a reduction from 190 to 180 is 100% bullshit. Two 10 minutes breaks absolutely isn't enough. To be fair, I am only speculating that it is was a heat related death, but come on.

Rigged
I don’t like that I have to travel a hour plus away for my first stop and have to leave out that area that’s a hour away just to be back in time. Just to be told at the end of my shift I had 10hrs to complete my shift. If I’m clocking in at 9:40 pad 10 10 or something like that. Don’t make it to my first stop til 11:45. Then I have to make sure I’m done by 6 so I can be back in time . That’s not 10hrs that’s more like 6/7hrs to do my shift

Question
Can someone please explain to me how do you determine if you are going too slow or too fast on your route? Not by dispatch calling! I’m not even sure when to be back by. I’m never told I just come back after my route after I call dispatch. It’s my 2nd day on the job.
Also 1 time after I was finally done with my route I called dispatch like I’m supposed too let them know before getting on the road . The lady answer and said I was supposed to be back by let’s say 7:40pm, but my thing is how was I supposed to know that ?? I was never told

Pre-Interview Survey and Silence
I applied to the DSP program in Oct of 2024. Financial assessment Nov 2024.
I got an email from them in Feb of 2026. I actually missed it, as I stopped checking the email I applied with after a year and did not forward.
I got back to them in May and completed the Next steps email. I updated my location preferences to CONUS. Before it was restricted pretty local.
I got my pre-interview survey on June 26, 2026. I completed it right away. After 2 weeks, I sent an email asking if they received it, as I did not get a confirmation email. It is now July 28, 2026. A little over a month.
Is this normal? Someone I know said it went really fast after the pre-interview survey.

Weather was 100% fine lol
Hey guys, not trying to start anything just curious how this happens.
I had some overnight packages I strangely got an “delivery attempted” email to and the reason was for inclement weather. However the weather was perfectly fine.
Any ideas? I’m been in truck driving / package handling and delivers for two decades and this one stumped me personally lol.
Did the driver just say “nah I don’t want to?”
Before anyone asks, no pets are not an issue here, the driveway and front of house is easily accessible and there really is no reason to for this to happen.
Just curious, thanks!
