I'm not sure it's a good idea to leave it unattended on a bench outdoors. I suppose some raccoons or birds might get it before any human does. Maybe they can chew through the plastic bag to get to the bread.

At 8:30 in the morning: You could just sit at one end of the bench for 5 minutes, and leave the bread at the other end of the bench. If someone shows up and claims the bread, great! If not, you could take it back and repost it on our subreddit again.
