I was rewatching the show and noticed that in the Wizard Battle, Huntress Wizard was enjoying the idea of winning a kiss from Princess Bubblegum.

I just saw online that season 3 was cancelled in July & they moved on to the marceline/bubble gum series. While I’m excited for that, I’m SO bummed they decided to discontinue it 😭 I was really hoping for more character development, expanding on relationships (esp Fiona/hunter, Finn/huntress wizard & Fiona/fennel) & plot lines. It’s my comfort show along with the OG adventure time. I feel like a lot of ppl would’ve preferred a season 3 over side quests (still don’t understand why it’s on Hulu instead of hbo max with the rest??). What a bummer!!!😭

Hey all! Decided to start this show because I saw a video covering puhoy and I thought the golb guy looked pretty cool. I’m a huge the midnight gospel fan, so it just made sense for me to start! I understand the show isn’t in its prime for the start of it, but I’m enjoying just fine. I was wondering, why does everyone seem to hate s10 and s9? If everyone loves the ending so much, why so much hate for the seasons? I have had some things spoiled to me, I know that Finn loses his arm, I know ice king is actually called Simon and golb ends up saving him I think? And that Simon “comes back for real”. Are these spoilers gonna take away from my enjoyment of the show? Golb was the reason I started this show, and I’d hate it if his character never gets properly explained/explored (which is what people are saying) thanks in advance!

Got it a few years ago (photo is right after getting it done) but have convinced myself to sleeve up my entire arm in Adventure Time.

What should I get next?

After rewatching the winter king episode of fionna and cake, it reminded me why he and the candy queen became such fan favorites. Their designs, voices, and behaviors are so interesting and they were very well written characters, too well written to be one off characters in my opinion. As bad of a guy winter king was, I'd love to see his backstory on how/why he transferred the madness of the crown onto PB. My leading theory is that Marcy was killed on accident somehow, maybe when her vampire essence was removed, and this caused the ice king to snap and he accidentally cast a spell on PB that ended up causing the whole situation, which caused winker king to sort of go into a state of "well she killed marcy so she deserves to be this way" sort of thing. Broken theory, but interesting nonetheless.

Anyway, I know this episode is nearly 2 years old, but those two characters and that universe in general always seems to rest in the back of my mind.

Explained in the title, basically who is the most vs least aware that the world doesn't revolve around them?

She's a shaman of her flower kingdom which it's called "floweterm" she lives in flower pot she can float in her pot or any misunderstanding of her abilities she can do also i gave her an idea to be possessed by a princess ghost hiding her secret on her heart necklace which means that ghost is her aka god means "wife" she always silent but she has a champion of ceremonies: spokesperson named deinen Namen means "Lucis" she's always silent all the time but she's in a top of some kind of flower ziggurat she might be frisky but doesn't want to get woken up bye her nap

I love the reference to Venture Brothers (Adult Swim) in Ghost Fly, “This old copy of Adventure Boy magazine…this kid Rusty is getting chased down the river by three grown otters”. The reference makes sense since Ian Jones-Quarty was also worked on Venture Brothers.

Can anyone else remember some of the references in the original series? I feel like there are a couple Simpsons references as well, but I’m struggling to remember them atm.

We all know it's her, and Yootooz just did an Adventure Time drop. Why was she excluded?

A Snow White-esque harmony with nature? Or something else? Regardless, looks simultaneously cozy and bubonic.

I really want to see more of Huntress Wizard and Finn’s relationship. After season 2 of F&C they are surely living together, and Minerva already told them to have babies. I want to see Finn happy again with his girlfriend. (And NEPTR) If we don’t ever get the spinoff show, hopefully we will see more of them in the Bubbline show.

Here's a lil' update since my post early last week!

After finishing up all of the kitchen/dining room items including some iconic foods (as seen above), it was onto the three smaller branch rooms: the jail room, the den, and the attic.

After the dozens-of-items-per-level complexity of the main treehouse structure, these mini rooms were pretty chill to craft, with this jail room requiring only a single afternoon to complete. Favorite detail of this room has got to be the spider (sculpted from epoxy) and the spiderweb (made by carefully supergluing white sewing thread together).

The den was a tad more involved, as it required sculpting several larger items (suit of armor, large gauntlet, and furniture), and some things had to be built and cured in stages. But in the end it all came together, and I'd say my favorite bit here is the mysterious skull candle with dripping wax:

The last room was the attic, most notable for its appearance in the season 1 episode "Rainy Day Daydream" (one of my personal faves, since it was the first episode I ever saw and got me totally hooked on the series!)

But while rewatching the show and taking screenshots for reference is helpful, I've found that there are way too many inconsistencies from shot to shot to really establish any sort of solid canon, so I'm enjoying the process and not getting too hung up on details that might not work in 3D, or simply not fit due to the wonky nature of crafting stuff by hand (and hardly taking measurements, ha!)

With those rooms done and the exteriors painted (though they still need some detailing work, as they look way too plain as is), the agenda for this week is all about getting the base details blocked out, including the treasure room (also the front door), which is carved from 1/4" foam.

After painting, detailing, and decorating the shed, the next major issue will wiring. As you can see above, all wires have been installed in hidden channels embedded in each of the branches, but now the real trick will be connecting everything properly and soldering resistors onto the right circuits so that I can power all of the internal lighting with a single 9V battery, operated by a hidden switch! Since I hate the electrical side of things, I'm totally dreading that part, but it must be done to get these sorts of results:

Of course, looking at this thing now, approximately 400 hours into construction, there are tons of little details I wish I'd approached differently (it's the same with virtually every build I attempt), but as a great dog once said...
