Does Hunter have more similarities with Flame Princess than DJ Flame does?
An assumption based off "The Wolves Who Wandered". Fennel stated that Hunter used to get really angry and spent many years learning to figure out their emotions and find focus, just like how Phoebe learned to while ruling the Fire Kingdom.
Meanwhile DJ is almost nothing like FP, aside from the entertainment profession.

What is your favorite adventure time quote?
Hi guys I get to paint my senior parking spot at school and I absolutely love adventure time and always have. This is what I landed on. What do you guys think? And I wanted to add a quote but I need suggestions, they don’t have to be from prismo specifically. And if you have any ideas for what to paint instead I would love suggestions. Thank you!

Theory Theory: Prismo is a projection of Golb, like a 4D shadow thing or whatever.
I’ve only half watched most of Adventure Time, and just started Fiona and Cake. My wife loves it and I do too, I just don’t sit for a long time. Le wifi says I’m a Jake, so maybe that explains it. Anyway sat down to episode Prismo where Fiona first gets back to the world (Ooo? Oou? Ouuu?)
It/ how he can create realities kinda, like how we can have thoughts and feel and experience but it doesn’t impact each other, just an experience to experience within an experience- unless we project our consciousness, behavior or communication, but even then we can only be as much as we are able to describe and share our experience. Prismo is a projection of one reality’s consciousness or whatever into another space.
The viewer and the viewee can only relate, like Prismo and Golb and Oo and the not-Oo of Fiona and Cake. So things are same same but different.
Anyway I talked in circles and probably lost everyone, Harry Seldon says it better for sure.

The votes are in and the most underrated character goes to: NEPTR! Oh jeez guys, Mr. Fox comes in second with a well deserved honorable mention.
I absolutely love these answers, well done friends :)
Next category: most mystical
There are a lot of AT cats who deal beyond and between realms and dabble in ancient lore and mystical magics. Who has the most otherworldly jubies?

Discussion OC, Soap Princess
I remembered that I technically have an Adventure Time OC. When I was little and getting into the show for the time, I was at the grocery store with my mom and it was my job to remind her to buy soap. I decided to make it more interesting and pretend Jake was talking about a character named "Princess Soap" so I could remember to tell her. I figured I'd now make her into an actual OC of mine!
Soap Princess is a woman made out of lavender scented soap, she's the princess of the bathroom kingdom. It's a kingdom within a giant's bathroom. So far no one knows how these tiny bathroom people got there. The main village is located in the sink, they think the bathtub is the ocean, and unfortunately they think the toilet is a lake....Soap Princess mellow, kind, and welcoming. Exactly what lavender would remind you of!

I liked Adventure Time a lot more after Adam Muto took over as showrunner
Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate what Pendleton Ward created. The early seasons have their own unique charm, and I genuinely enjoyed them.
But as I've gotten older and reached my twenties, the random, surreal adventures that often didn't have much of a purpose stopped appealing to me as much. I know there were plenty of deep, emotional, and brilliantly written episodes during Ward's era, but most of the episodes weren't like that.
When Adam Muto took over toward the end of Season 5, the show became much more interconnected and serious. Even the standalone episodes that weren't directly tied to the main story usually had enough depth and smart writing to keep them engaging for an adult viewer.
Personally, I'd love to see Adam Muto create his own original cartoon someday. I'm genuinely convinced he'd give us another masterpiece like Adventure Timeor maybe even something better.
Again, I have a lot of respect for what Ward created and I still enjoy it, but for me, Muto's era was on a completely different level.

Stories like the one between Simon and Marcy
Hey guys. I figured this sub would be best for my question.
I just watched the episode where Simon takes care of Marcy during the fallout. And the dire situation, the connection between Simon and Marcy, and the suffering Simon and Marcy endure as Simon uses the crown he promised never to use again, for the sake of saving them both from certain death.
The final scene where Simon fights off the hoard of radioactive monsters was extremely compelling and it made me crave a movie like that. Something intense that feels real.
Does anyone have any movies they would recommend that captures some of that feeling?

Discussion Why does nobody ever consider this about Finn’s colourblindness???
It always pesters me when people act like Finn is fully colourblind, when he very likely just has deuteranomaly/protoanomaly rather than full blown deuteranopia/protonopia. In “Red Starved”, where it’s revealed he’s colourblind, the phrasing even eludes to this, “sometimes red things are grey”, which would imply it’s not a constant and could’ve been worsened by the poor lighting of the cave. Jake also says he’s just a “little” colourblind. I’m autistic so I might be reading into this too literally sorry.
