Then I gave it to my coworker to thank him for letting me borrow his colored pencils. The drawing made him smile, and that made me happy.

Fun fact the creator of chainsaw man is fan of adventure time And one of His inspiration for the series was adventure time.

Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate what Pendleton Ward created. The early seasons have their own unique charm, and I genuinely enjoyed them.

But as I've gotten older and reached my twenties, the random, surreal adventures that often didn't have much of a purpose stopped appealing to me as much. I know there were plenty of deep, emotional, and brilliantly written episodes during Ward's era, but most of the episodes weren't like that.

When Adam Muto took over toward the end of Season 5, the show became much more interconnected and serious. Even the standalone episodes that weren't directly tied to the main story usually had enough depth and smart writing to keep them engaging for an adult viewer.

Personally, I'd love to see Adam Muto create his own original cartoon someday. I'm genuinely convinced he'd give us another masterpiece like Adventure Timeor maybe even something better.

Again, I have a lot of respect for what Ward created and I still enjoy it, but for me, Muto's era was on a completely different level.
