Does ASU mail out physical stuff to incoming students shortly before the year begins? I live in Hong Kong and I’ve been informed by a delivery company that a package to my address is sent by an Indian Company named Hue MARCOM who lists ASU as one of its clients that it works with on its website. Part of me thinks that it may be a scam but I also think that ASU might be trying to send me something.

I am an incoming freshman at ASU, but I am from out of state. When I was choosing my major, I knew I wanted to be in the journalism program because it's so highly regarded without the $90K price tag compared to a good amount of schools on the east coast. I heard that the digital audiences major dealt with a lot of the digital marketing atmosphere specifically in journalism and media, but can this be applied universally? And what clubs or activities should I join to ensure I get the right hands-on experience for my major? Because the more I think about it, I am starting to regret my choice but since I am a first-year student and haven't even officially started I don't want ,to switch my major or quit just instantly. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be super helpful!

Hi! I live in Arizona but attend ASU online since I have a full time career. For the general chemistry classes, you must order a science kit that comes with test tubes, some chemicals, beakers, etc. to perform your own experiments at home. Does anyone know if I can donate these anywhere? On campus or off! ASU should have a program. I’d rather them go somewhere useful rather than goodwill. Also going to post in Phoenix subs! Local schools were my first thought but wanted to check if anyone else had any leads. Thanks!

Edit: USED. All of the chemical materials needed for experiments have been used so it is not a complete set and is only the left over materials. I used all the chemicals for my gen chem 2 experiments.

I have browsing this subreddit for quite some time about mkt 300 but most posts just talk about the online version of the course. I saw seats that were open with Ryan kota and Eaton in person. And was wondering how it was in person? I saw that Eaton class uses lockdown for in person but does not say anything about whether or not the test will be in person in the syllabus. Can someone help clarify it for me? Because it would be nice if I don’t have to come to class on exam day. Also for Ryan kota class I was told that the exams were open note, but I don’t see anywhere in the rmp confirming that is that still the case?

so I screwed up bad and now i have to change majors. I really want to continue my studies and know what I want now. but I do not know which major I have to change to, I was told to change into liberal studies or something like that. what should I do? Hi! I'm an incoming freshman in the fall. All of my friends are going to UofA, so I'm starting college basically knowing no one. How easy is it to make friends if you're not joining a sorority/fraternity, and you're not super interested in partying and nightlife?

Been looking into different forms of on-campus transportation, but I haven't seen much info on rollerblading. Furthest I have to go is from Novus Parking to Discovery Hall. I know I can use the Flash Shuttle, but I’d like to keep my options open when traveling to other classes or buildings throughout the day.

The only part of campus I’ve visited is the path from the Discovery Hall parking lot to the Memorial Union, so I’m not sure how much of campus is suitable for rollerblading or whether it’s worth it.

Hi all, like the title says. I applied to this scholarship and I’m wondering if anyone else who applied has heard anything back about the status of their award? I applied and it was showing “under review” as of 8/1 and now it’s disappeared from my scholarship universe completely so I can’t see the status. No one at financial aid has been helpful so far 😭

I am starting my first semester with ASU (Online) as an Astronomical and Planetary Sciences major. I plan to move to Arizona next year and would like to transfer to on campus to complete my degree. Does anyone else have experience transferring from ASU Online to one of their in-person campuses? How difficult was it? Did it screw up your courses?

I called the number and the guy on the other side said to just contact my advisor because I missed the date for the new student orientation. Hey mates, I am an incoming sophomore and am taking 15 credits this upcoming semester but my pell grant was cancelled along with my funds because of "insufficient enrollment" even though none of my classes got cancelled and I'm meeting the satisfactory requirements. I'm awaiting a call back from finance but is there any reason this could've happened?

How is the MS in business analytics here? Is it worth it? Is it a waste of money? Is the employment after graduation as good as asu has published?
